I've tried every cushion out there and spent a fortune in the process! I was a cushion nomad until I finally found my holy grail. With my combination skin - oily T-zone and dry elsewhere - this cushion provides the perfect balance of oil and moisture. It doesn't pill or look cakey, which I absolutely love! While it suits my skin well, the coverage is slightly disappointing. If you're concerned about blemishes, you might want to use it with a concealer. It's also on the pricier side. The yellow base might make it appear a bit dull for those who prefer brighter complexions. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 27, 2020
This cushion wasn't particularly good or bad, but I didn't reach for it often. As someone with oily skin, I appreciated its hydrating and moisturizing feel. The finish was close to semi-matte. Despite being a moisturizing cushion, it had excellent staying power and didn't break down messily. While the coverage is good, it feels like it applies a bit thick and artificial. It seemed to sit on top of the skin, feeling somewhat suffocating. The ivory-toned yellow base wasn't overly bright, which was nice, but I noticed it turned slightly muddy as time passed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 25, 2020
I'd say this cushion foundation ranks in the top 3 for coverage among all the ones I've tried. The adherence to the skin was also excellent. The base seems to have a slightly yellow undertone. If you're using it for touch-ups, you'll need to be careful with the amount you apply. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 27, 2020
It absorbs well in a thin layer and gives a beautiful glow! I also liked how easy it was to control the amount applied. It tends to become a bit matte as time passes. The color seems to have a slightly strong yellowish tint. It's perfect for quickly patting on and heading out, as it looks so natural. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSep 14, 2019
When applied, it goes on smoothly with a moisturizing feel, but it's not just moist - it's like a semi-matte finish? It's as if a thin, natural second skin has formed! I've used it for about 2 months and haven't experienced any blemishes at all. The amount seems a bit small. Also, it has a strong yellow undertone, which creates a noticeable line on my skin tone. I'm thinking of switching to the Namsan shade. However, the product itself is truly a holy grail cushion. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 7, 2019
First off, the matte black case with the brand name in the center looks so luxurious! The application is wonderfully moisturizing, which I love! The coverage is impressive for such a hydrating formula. It does a great job concealing pores, blackheads, and acne marks - all with medium to high coverage that builds beautifully with each layer. There's hardly any fading throughout the day, and touch-ups are a breeze! I expected a light yellow tone, but for shade 22 it's too yellow and a bit dark! It gives me the feeling of darkening my complexion... The quantity also seems a bit less compared to other cushions, unfortunately. If you have a dull complexion in shade 22, I recommend the Namsan color! For those with dry or combination dehydrated skin, make sure to layer on hydrating skincare thoroughly beforehand to avoid deep dryness. Powder is a must for the T-zone! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJul 18, 2019
I love how thinly it applies. It's not thick, and as you pat it on repeatedly, you can feel it spreading in a fine layer. The hydration is great too. The Finland shade wasn't great for me. It had a yellowish undertone...? Not sure about the other shades. The coverage was also disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 11, 2019
Highly recommended! I've tried all the high-end brands that people rave about, but NARS takes the crown. Even in the peak of summer, it stays put without breaking down, has excellent coverage, and applies beautifully. It's truly top-tier in every aspect. While Finland is said to be the best match for Koreans, this one's a bit too yellow-toned, unfortunately. I think Namsan might be a better option. - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 5, 2019
It's so moisturizing that it never separates on the skin. Surprisingly, it lasts quite long too. The Pilland shade is too yellow, which is disappointing. While it's hydrating, it offers almost no coverage. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 10, 2019
It's moisturizing and seems to reduce the appearance of cakey makeup when touching up. That's about it. Expensive price tag. Disappointingly small amount. The tone matches, but the yellowish tint makes my complexion look even darker. Doesn't cover blemishes. Severe darkening effect, no matter how many times I reapply, it doesn't brighten. The best tip? Don't buy it.
