This foundation gives your skin a truly beautiful finish! I've tried many cushions, but NARS seems to be the best. It doesn't settle into pores, provides just the right amount of glow without being excessive or insufficient, and has great staying power. I've also tried the South shade, and while I usually use shade 21, the Finland shade suited me better as I prefer a more natural complexion. The price... undoubtedly, the price is the main drawback. Compared to more affordable cushions, it's almost twice as expensive, and the fact that refills are sold separately is really disappointing. Also, the amount of product feels smaller for the price you pay. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 19, 2020
It's moisturizing and adheres well to the skin. The staying power seems great too! The amount is too small... If only there was more product, it would be a holy grail. It's just not enough, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 18, 2020
Out of the 10 cushion foundations I've tried, this one tops the charts for coverage, glow, and staying power. Despite my dry skin, it doesn't cause dryness or caking. It's truly the champion of cushions! A mix of light undertone and deep undertone in shade 22 gives a perfect color match. While it's slightly yellow-toned, it looks incredibly natural. I absolutely can't recommend this cushion enough! The price... it's seriously expensive. Even the refill costs over $40. Save this for when your skin looks flawless and you're meeting that special someone. For those with dry skin who love baking, try this: apply the NARS cushion, spritz with mist, bake, then set with a fixing spray. Your makeup will be mask-proof! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 26, 2020
1. Makes your skin look absolutely amazing 2. Great staying power even for combination skin There's nothing particularly bad, but those who prioritize high coverage might find it a bit lacking - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 19, 2020
I can confidently say this is the cream of the crop among all the foundations I've tried. Its coverage is impressive. The long-lasting formula is perfect for going out, with no need for touch-ups or worries about transfer. It was my go-to during summer. With just the right amount of hydration, it should work well for those with mild dry or combination skin. The price tag definitely screams luxury, and it might be a bit too steep for regular purchases. If I find a comparable alternative, I probably won't buy this again. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 7, 2020
The color is absolutely gorgeous! It doesn't look artificial at all. Among cushion foundations, I think NARS Finland has the most beautiful and natural-looking shade. No allergic reactions to speak of, and the staying power is pretty decent too. It's just perfect! Hmm, the quantity seems a bit limited. It disappears after just a few pats. When you first start using it, even a light tap releases quite a bit of product, so you'll need to be careful and apply it gently at first! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 27, 2020
This cushion wasn't particularly good or bad, but I didn't reach for it often. As someone with oily skin, I appreciated its hydrating and moisturizing feel. The finish was close to semi-matte. Despite being a moisturizing cushion, it had excellent staying power and didn't break down messily. While the coverage is good, it feels like it applies a bit thick and artificial. It seemed to sit on top of the skin, feeling somewhat suffocating. The ivory-toned yellow base wasn't overly bright, which was nice, but I noticed it turned slightly muddy as time passed. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 7, 2020
I have a bit of redness and fair skin that's prone to blemishes, but since this product doesn't contain oil, it didn't cause any breakouts! The makeup lasts all day long with amazing staying power. Even after touch-ups, it doesn't feel heavy and gives a smooth finish. The particles must be really fine because it's so lightweight that it doesn't clog my pores, resulting in a beautiful complexion! If I had to point out a downside, it would be the hassle of maintaining the puff, which is typical for cushion products. I wish there was a foundation that could give this kind of finish! I found it works even better when used with the NARS base primer! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 24, 2020
Shade 22 / Warm undertone The only cushion foundation I've settled on ✨ I'm on my 3rd refill! What I love most about the NARS cushion: ✔️ No blemishes ✔️ Applies thinly ✔️ Moisturizing The main reason I could stick with it is that it doesn't cause any blemishes! It's completely gentle on my super sensitive skin. I've never had any irritation from this product. It stays flawless from early morning to late evening, naturally covering imperfections, redness, and uneven skin tone. I'm very satisfied. While it's not as high-coverage as the Hera Black Cushion, it provides good coverage despite its thin texture! Some people call it semi-matte, but compared to other cushions, I definitely felt it had a moisturizing finish. It's not an oily glossy feel, but a hydrating moisture-rich cushion. It creates a vibrant, healthy-looking complexion!! The NARS cushion is especially great for touch-ups ✨ It blends seamlessly with other foundations without pilling, allowing for smooth touch-ups without any patchiness. The color is so natural that you can't tell where you've touched up! I loved how I could just pat it on carelessly and it still looked great. I was also satisfied with the puff - I liked that it was thin, and being black, it doesn't look dirty even after prolonged use~~ Of course, I can't ignore the downsides of price, color range, and case quality. Despite being expensive, the case feels cheap and lacks durability. I just can't shake off that cheap plastic feel. And the color range is quite polarizing! At first, I was shocked by how yellow, almost sallow, Finland looked. Now I find myself using it more for its natural appearance. (I'm into natural makeup these days). It looks perfectly natural on the face!! It's not one of those shades that makes your face look bright while your neck looks different!! Mont Blanc is too light and pink-toned.. Maybe a slightly lighter shade with a yellow base would be nice? But I'm still using it well as is. ##For reference, shades that worked well for me: Hera Black Cushion 21 Hera Black Foundation N21 (Hera's 21 shades look natural on me and match my neck) NARS Natural Radiant Cushion in Mont Blanc was slightly light with a pink base, so it didn't match my neck (though not too badly) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 2, 2019
Effectively conceals redness Natural brightening effect Stays in place well after application Really lasts all day long - it's great! Doesn't cake up even on oily skin PEG ingredients don't agree with my skin, causing blemishes Slight breakouts on the chin Strangely, pimples appeared near my nose They keep growing, but subside when I stop using it Most oil is around the nose, seems like it's clogging pores there Applying multiple thin layers works best for a smooth, pretty finish without caking
