Lately, this cream has been gaining popularity as a top Cica product, alongside Zeroid, and is often recommended by dermatologists. I found it effectively calms the skin, thanks to its panthenol and madecassoside content, which quickly soothes sensitive or reddened skin. Physiogel's unique Biomimic Technology is said to strengthen the skin barrier and maintain hydration for longer. I loved how it kept my dry skin moisturized for an extended period. It's completed allergy and dermatological tests, making it safe for sensitive skin. Being fragrance-free, it's also suitable for those with scent sensitivities. Among all the Cica creams I've tried, this is the only non-comedogenic one I felt comfortable using on my T-zone. The biggest advantage is that it doesn't cause blemishes! Despite its creamy texture, it absorbs well without feeling sticky, leaving a clean finish. It's quite expensive. Although it works best for me, the price-to-volume ratio makes it burdensome for consistent use. For extremely dry skin, using this alone might not provide enough hydration, so you may need to use an additional moisturizer or try the blue Physiogel, which might be more suitable. The complete lack of fragrance, while a plus for some, can make it feel a bit like applying ointment, which could be seen as both a pro and a con. Applying this cream to slightly damp skin improves its absorption and enhances its moisturizing effects. On days when your skin is extremely sensitive or dry, try applying a thick layer as a sleeping mask. You'll wake up to noticeably calmer skin! For very dry days, start with the AI cream as a base, then layer on an oil or richer cream to boost hydration. Using it before long periods outdoors in winter can create a protective barrier, helping prevent your cheeks from turning red in the cold. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 6, 2022
I used the Kieming Relief Restoring Lipid Balm, but since it seems to be discontinued, I'm leaving my review here. Despite its name being 'balm' and coming in a tube, which made me think it would be thick, it actually had an emulsion-like texture. This made it easy to apply, and even though it was quite fluid, it provided excellent hydration. As someone with combination skin, I found the Physiogel product to be a bit heavy for me. At first application, it seemed fine, but after it was fully absorbed, I could feel quite a bit of richness on my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 2, 2022
When applied before bed, it leaves your skin feeling as moisturized as if you've done a mask. The hydration power is excellent! During summer, it might feel a bit too rich and heavy, which could be overwhelming for some. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 6, 2022
I've been using this cream for several years now, and it's been really effective for hydration It's a bit on the rich side, so I only applied it in the evenings - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 5, 2022
* Skin type: Combination (dry in winter/slight redness on cheeks) * Usage period: One month (mainly in the evening) * Recent skin condition: Irritated and dry on cheeks **Positive aspects** - The long-standing tradition and dermatological formulation inspire trust, and I'm satisfied with the ingredients. - The scent is nearly fragrance-free. - The texture is silky smooth and absorbs well. **Areas for improvement** - It feels a bit too rich, almost like it's sitting on top of the skin. - When my skin was super sensitive, I had to stop using it due to redness after application. If you apply it generously to your heels and wrap them overnight, you'll wake up with softer feet and reduced dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJan 2, 2022
The hydration is really impressive. Even in the dry winter months, when I apply this before bed, I wake up with my skin still feeling moisturized. When applied to very dry skin, it feels more like an oil coating rather than a deeply hydrating essence. That's why I prefer to use it as a top layer when going out or on particularly dry nights. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 15, 2021
It's so gentle that I used it with my child. Not only does it provide great hydration, but it also helped with nummular eczema when applied consistently. The price is quite high, and compared to the blue version, you get less product for your money. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinOct 7, 2021
It's easy to use and provides great hydration. Even with dry skin, if you apply a generous amount before bed, your skin won't feel dry in the morning. I don't see any noticeable improvements, so it's just an average product... - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinSep 9, 2021
It's gentle on the skin! Even with my super sensitive skin, I had no issues - I love it! Personally, I feel it provides better hydration than the blue version. The texture is a bit thick when applying, and the price is higher compared to overseas. The price varies greatly depending on where you buy it, so you need to be careful when purchasing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 1, 2021
I've been using Physiogel exclusively for over 15 years because it provides excellent hydration and I can use it without causing any blemishes When new versions come out, I struggle to notice any significant differences
