This is my honest review after purchasing with my own money. I'm not entirely sure about my skin type. Sometimes products I've been using consistently cause issues, other times they make me itchy. New products might cause blemishes immediately, but then be fine the next day. It's that kind of skin. I have super sensitive skin, but I'm not sure which ingredients I'm sensitive to or what doesn't agree with me. My skin is combination dehydrated. It's extremely dry, but gets oily over time. I just bought this today and have only applied it once. I plan to use it for about a week and then post another review. I'm not sure about the hydration, but it feels rich. I'm not certain how well it absorbs... I had to really work it into my skin. About 30 minutes after applying, I started feeling slight itching in various spots. In conclusion!!! The good points are still... After applying, I experienced itching in various areas. The rich texture... The tube is smaller than I expected. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 18, 2021
I'm not really sure... I honestly can't tell if it's that good for acne-prone skin. There's no moisturizing feeling, and the hydration is lacking... If anything, I felt like it was causing small bumps to appear on my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 23, 2021
It's quite rich, so those with very dry skin might find it works well for them. Just as my folliculitis was starting to improve, I used this and it stung terribly. My skin went absolutely haywire.. I'll never repurchase this again. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 20, 2020
As someone with super sensitive and extremely dry skin, I found that applying this twice really helped. Personally, I felt it deeply hydrated my skin, which was great! I'm currently on a quest for the perfect cream, but as my skin is super sensitive, this one didn't work for me either. While it didn't cause blemishes, I think I had an allergic reaction to it. I'd recommend this unless you have super sensitive skin. However, if you have extremely dry skin, you might need to apply an extra layer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 12, 2020
It's definitely effective in managing atopic dermatitis. I use it when my condition calms down a bit after using prescription ointments during severe flare-ups. While it can't prevent initial outbreaks, that's pretty common for most products in this category. Due to my extremely oily skin, I can only apply it all over my face for two or three days at most. Even though I like it, daily full-face application eventually leads to blemishes. I checked on Hwahae and saw it doesn't contain pore-clogging ingredients, but I guess my skin is just super sensitive. I'm using this as a replacement for atopic dermatitis ointments while weaning off them. Since I have very oily skin, I apply it sparingly to specific areas for effective treatment. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 20, 2020
At first, I thought it was great because my small blemishes disappeared right after applying it But from about day 4, my skin completely flipped out. Even when I first applied it, I was worried because it felt extremely rich, but I trusted it because there were no harmful ingredients and the ratings were good. However, suddenly my skin went haywire and still hasn't recovered. Looking at the ingredients, it's all oils - this seems like poison for oily skin. I'd recommend those with oily or combination skin to avoid this product If possible, don't use this. There's too much oil, which clogs pores. It feels really suffocating. People who like it seem to use it well, though - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 18, 2020
The lightweight formula is perfect for comfortable use even during summer. My face started to turn red and blemishes began to appear. It seems this product doesn't suit my acne-prone, sensitive, oily skin type. There's no specific application method since you just use it once and don't reapply. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 28, 2020
The hydration was great, and as someone with oily skin, I loved how it felt light yet nourishing. After using this, I got small bumps on my chin. It's quite expensive for such a small amount, which made me really disappointed... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 17, 2020
You can definitely feel the improvement in skin texture when you wake up after applying it If you have oily skin, absolutely avoid using this. When I first applied it, I could feel how rich it was. After using it for 2-3 days, possibly due to the oil-based ingredients, I started developing pustular acne. I thought a moderate amount of richness would be fine for my skin, but it seems to be too much for oily complexions - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 14, 2020
First off, my skin is so blemish-prone that I judge products solely on whether they cause breakouts or not. I've tried all the products recommended for sensitive skin on Hwahae, but I still haven't found my holy grail. My skin is so frustrating - even products I've used consistently for a while can suddenly cause issues. When I do get blemishes, I have no choice but to use this cream since my one and only perfect cream was discontinued. At least this one doesn't make my breakouts worse. It makes my face feel stuffy, hot, and sweaty. My skin starts to itch all over after applying it. It's especially bad on my nose bridge and philtrum - it feels like the cream is trapping sweat, causing a constant damp, steamy sensation that's really uncomfortable. It also seems to make my pores look larger and gives my face an overall greasy appearance. My top priority now is to find a holy grail product that works for me without causing blemishes, so I can finally stop using this one!
