Lately, this cream has been gaining popularity as a top Cica product, alongside Zeroid, and is often recommended by dermatologists. I found it effectively calms the skin, thanks to its panthenol and madecassoside content, which quickly soothes sensitive or reddened skin. Physiogel's unique Biomimic Technology is said to strengthen the skin barrier and maintain hydration for longer. I loved how it kept my dry skin moisturized for an extended period. It's completed allergy and dermatological tests, making it safe for sensitive skin. Being fragrance-free, it's also suitable for those with scent sensitivities. Among all the Cica creams I've tried, this is the only non-comedogenic one I felt comfortable using on my T-zone. The biggest advantage is that it doesn't cause blemishes! Despite its creamy texture, it absorbs well without feeling sticky, leaving a clean finish. It's quite expensive. Although it works best for me, the price-to-volume ratio makes it burdensome for consistent use. For extremely dry skin, using this alone might not provide enough hydration, so you may need to use an additional moisturizer or try the blue Physiogel, which might be more suitable. The complete lack of fragrance, while a plus for some, can make it feel a bit like applying ointment, which could be seen as both a pro and a con. Applying this cream to slightly damp skin improves its absorption and enhances its moisturizing effects. On days when your skin is extremely sensitive or dry, try applying a thick layer as a sleeping mask. You'll wake up to noticeably calmer skin! For very dry days, start with the AI cream as a base, then layer on an oil or richer cream to boost hydration. Using it before long periods outdoors in winter can create a protective barrier, helping prevent your cheeks from turning red in the cold. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 2, 2023
I love that it's fragrance-free, so it doesn't bother me at all. It provides average hydration. While it's a cream, the moisturizing power is a bit disappointing. I still use it well in summer though. - sm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticitySep 6, 2022
I used the Kieming Relief Restoring Lipid Balm, but since it seems to be discontinued, I'm leaving my review here. Despite its name being 'balm' and coming in a tube, which made me think it would be thick, it actually had an emulsion-like texture. This made it easy to apply, and even though it was quite fluid, it provided excellent hydration. As someone with combination skin, I found the Physiogel product to be a bit heavy for me. At first application, it seemed fine, but after it was fully absorbed, I could feel quite a bit of richness on my skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 18, 2022
It's moisturizing and even though my skin is super sensitive, it doesn't cause blemishes. Should I say it's too rich? If you don't like products that feel oily, avoid this one! After applying the emulsion, I put green tea oil blotting papers from D*iso on my face before bed. It helps get rid of blemishes and acne! I'm actually doing this right now as I write this review. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 18, 2022
This has been my go-to skincare product for years. It's perfect for my skin and doesn't cause any blemishes. Whether buying internationally or domestically, it's often expensive and frequently out of stock due to being an imported product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 2, 2022
When applied before bed, it leaves your skin feeling as moisturized as if you've done a mask. The hydration power is excellent! During summer, it might feel a bit too rich and heavy, which could be overwhelming for some. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 2, 2022
This is my honest review after purchasing with my own money. I'm not entirely sure about my skin type. Sometimes products I've been using consistently cause issues, other times they make me itchy. New products might cause blemishes immediately, but then be fine the next day. It's that kind of skin. I have super sensitive skin, but I'm not sure which ingredients I'm sensitive to or what doesn't agree with me. My skin is combination dehydrated. It's extremely dry, but gets oily over time. I just bought this today and have only applied it once. I plan to use it for about a week and then post another review. I'm not sure about the hydration, but it feels rich. I'm not certain how well it absorbs... I had to really work it into my skin. About 30 minutes after applying, I started feeling slight itching in various spots. In conclusion!!! The good points are still... After applying, I experienced itching in various areas. The rich texture... The tube is smaller than I expected. - ry********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 24, 2022
As expected, Physiogel lives up to its reputation. The gentle ingredients and lack of fragrance are wonderful. My skin feels so comfortable when I use this. Compared to other creams, the texture is a bit thick and stiff, so it doesn't absorb quite as smoothly. - ky******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 6, 2022
I've been using this cream for several years now, and it's been really effective for hydration It's a bit on the rich side, so I only applied it in the evenings - na********Combination SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 5, 2022
* Skin type: Combination (dry in winter/slight redness on cheeks) * Usage period: One month (mainly in the evening) * Recent skin condition: Irritated and dry on cheeks **Positive aspects** - The long-standing tradition and dermatological formulation inspire trust, and I'm satisfied with the ingredients. - The scent is nearly fragrance-free. - The texture is silky smooth and absorbs well. **Areas for improvement** - It feels a bit too rich, almost like it's sitting on top of the skin. - When my skin was super sensitive, I had to stop using it due to redness after application. If you apply it generously to your heels and wrap them overnight, you'll wake up with softer feet and reduced dead skin cells.
