I gave my friend a cleansing balm and foam set as a birthday gift, and they were really satisfied with it! It seems like we could make the spatula size a bit larger. It's too small. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinApr 3, 2025
It's definitely less greasy and feels fresher and lighter than cleansing oil! I often only wear sunscreen, and this seems to cleanse sunscreen thoroughly and effectively! The jar-type container is a bit inconvenient in terms of hygiene and usage - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 6, 2025
It effectively removes sebum and blackheads while being gentle on the skin! I love that it didn't cause any blemishes after use, and it leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean without any residue after washing. While it's truly an excellent product, the spatula is disappointingly small and thin compared to the jar's depth and width, making it inconvenient to use. I wish the spatula was a bit larger. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 4, 2025
Cleansing effectiveness is top-notch, and the balm texture doesn't stress the skin. Even with my sensitive, dry skin, it doesn't cause deep dryness and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. The balm format requires using a spatula to scoop it out, which can be a bit of a hassle. Before wetting your face, scoop out some balm, massage it onto your skin, then rinse with water. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 12, 2025
As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm always very careful when choosing cosmetics. I usually use cleansing oils, but this time I wanted to try a cleansing balm. After thorough research, I decided to give this product a go. It's been just over a week since I started using it, and I'm happy to report that my skin hasn't developed any blemishes. I love how smoothly it applies to my skin! While everything else was great, if I had to pick one minor drawback, it would be that the included spatula was a bit too small. To use, start by scooping out a suitable amount and spreading it over your face. Don't rinse it off immediately. Instead, let the balm melt with your body heat as you gently massage it all over your face. Then, add a little lukewarm water to emulsify the product, helping to remove impurities from deep within your pores. Finally, rinse thoroughly with water for a clean finish! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 5, 2025
It cleanses effectively even with a small amount and can be used without irritation. It doesn't feel like it's stripping moisture from your skin during cleansing. There don't seem to be any particular downsides. It's convenient that the spatula can be stored inside the container. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 25, 2024
It's gentle and suitable for acne-prone skin. I've been using it for several bottles now. The balm-like texture is great for travel since it doesn't spill. The price... and the price... and did I mention the price? Also, the jar packaging makes it a bit inconvenient to use. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 14, 2024
I love that the ingredients are gentle on the skin. It's great that I don't need a separate lip and eye makeup remover - this cleanser does it all! There wasn't anything particularly bad. I just keep losing the spatula, haha! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 20, 2024
It cleanses really well without being irritating, which I love. No stinging in the eyes, no tightness, I'm very satisfied. It's a bit of a hassle to use the built-in spatula to scoop out the product. I use this as my first cleanse when removing makeup. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinOct 2, 2024
As someone with facial atopic dermatitis and extremely dry skin, I've always sought out atopy-specific emulsions and products with good ingredients. The Hygge cleansing balm is incredibly gentle on my sensitive skin and, most importantly, has excellent cleansing effectiveness. I plan to keep using it for a long time to come. The spatula is a bit small and flimsy, so I end up just scooping the product with my fingers. While it doesn't seem to cause any major issues, it does make me feel a bit uneasy. I think it would be better if it came in a squeeze tube format instead of a jar.
