It absorbs well and has great cleansing effectiveness. I have blemish-prone oily skin, but I'm using it without any issues or breakouts. Sometimes it's a bit inconvenient because the part where the tweezers should be stored inside the lid can be difficult to open. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinMar 31, 2025
As someone with dry skin, I love moisturizing and hydrating products. This one is great because it applies smoothly without causing any blemishes. While it's a bit inconvenient to use a spoon to apply the product, I appreciate that it's a more hygienic approach. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 6, 2025
It effectively removes sebum and blackheads while being gentle on the skin! I love that it didn't cause any blemishes after use, and it leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean without any residue after washing. While it's truly an excellent product, the spatula is disappointingly small and thin compared to the jar's depth and width, making it inconvenient to use. I wish the spatula was a bit larger. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 12, 2025
As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm always very careful when choosing cosmetics. I usually use cleansing oils, but this time I wanted to try a cleansing balm. After thorough research, I decided to give this product a go. It's been just over a week since I started using it, and I'm happy to report that my skin hasn't developed any blemishes. I love how smoothly it applies to my skin! While everything else was great, if I had to pick one minor drawback, it would be that the included spatula was a bit too small. To use, start by scooping out a suitable amount and spreading it over your face. Don't rinse it off immediately. Instead, let the balm melt with your body heat as you gently massage it all over your face. Then, add a little lukewarm water to emulsify the product, helping to remove impurities from deep within your pores. Finally, rinse thoroughly with water for a clean finish! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 5, 2024
My skin type: Combination skin, prone to whiteheads, blackheads, clogged pores, extremely dry U-zone in winter, and occasional blemishes. Skin texture: ❤❤❤❤ After using this, my skin feels incredibly smooth, as if all the dead skin cells have vanished. Blemishes: ❤❤❤❤❤ Not a single new blemish appeared! And I didn't experience any tingling sensation while using it. Texture: ❤❤❤❤❤ It melts into the skin as soon as you gently massage it in, leaving a soft, velvety feeling. If I had to nitpick: 1. There's no dedicated storage for the stick applicator. 2. It feels a bit rich initially, so those who dislike oily textures might not enjoy it. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 2, 2024
It's not too thick, but a bit firm. You need to warm it up in your hands before applying. It doesn't spread easily by hand, so a spatula is a must. After rinsing with water, there's a slight oily feel. You might need to double cleanse. While the cleansing power isn't strong, I didn't notice any new blemishes or small bumps after use. Saying it doesn't apply well is an understatement - it barely applies at all. You have to warm it up in your hands and spread it, and it feels like you're applying watered-down oil. If you rub it, your skin pills. It's so dry that you have to really work to apply it. Note that it's not even a sunscreen, yet it's almost impossible to remove as a skin base. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 30, 2024
Unlike other cleansing oil balms, I feel reassured by the quality ingredients in this one. My skin is super sensitive, but I didn't break out after using this product, which is satisfying enough for me. It also removes makeup effectively. There's some unavoidable friction when massaging it in, but I don't have any particular complaints about the product itself. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 28, 2024
After using only oils, I tried a sample night product and liked the ingredients, so I bought it. Both my sibling and I are using it without any blemishes. It's great that it keeps our skin moisturized even after cleansing. It feels like the amount is decreasing faster than expected, which is a bit disappointing. Apart from that, I don't have any other complaints. I'll probably repurchase it when I run out. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 21, 2024
After using this cleansing balm, I can give a more accurate review since I don't do a second cleanse and finish with just the balm. I have combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin, but I've been using this daily without any blemishes! I love that it doesn't cause any tingling or burning sensation. The scent is almost non-existent, which really gives it that gentle feel. It scoops out smoothly and melts well with body heat. The emulsification process is great too! Even though I only use the balm without a second cleanse, my skin feels fresh and thoroughly cleansed. Now for the most important part - the cleansing effectiveness! The reason I use cleansing balms is to remove full makeup in one go without multiple cleansing steps (because I'm lazy). This one removes everything, including mascara and eyeliner, in one sweep. While I am thorough with my cleansing, it's great that this balm alone can do the job. The spatula is a nice touch. I always use one with cleansing products as I find it unhygienic to scoop with fingers, especially with nail polish on. I love that the spatula is built into the lid, so there's no chance of losing it when traveling! The spatula is a bit thin and curved, which I found slightly inconvenient. Its thinness makes it hard to control the amount, and the curve makes it difficult to scoop. It's cute because it's small overall, but it's more cute than functional. This is purely personal, but I wish the lid was a pop-open type rather than twist-off. Cleansing is usually the last step before resting at home, and the wide lid makes twisting it off a bit tedious. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 20, 2024
Compared to the famous cleansing balm from BNLK, this product has a creamier texture while the other is more sherbet-like. I loved how gentle it felt during application, with minimal irritation. I usually use a separate remover for eye makeup and then cleanse the rest of my face with oil or balm. This product's cleansing effectiveness was more than sufficient. It even removed mascara thoroughly with careful rolling. It emulsifies well too. Despite having blemish-prone skin, it didn't cause any breakouts, and the scent is pleasantly mild. I didn't find any particular drawbacks! While I feel that cleansing balms don't differ drastically from one another, this product certainly holds its own against others without any noticeable shortcomings.
