I decided to try Aromatica because of its reputation for good ingredients. It comes out like a thin cream and applies with a watery, hydrating texture. When you put it on, it's not exactly lightweight - there's quite a bit of richness! It provides a fairly strong brightening effect, almost like you're wearing makeup. If you have a fair complexion, it shouldn't be too much of an issue. After some time, it settles nicely. The metal ball inside helps mix the product well for easy application. While it seems to absorb well, there's something odd about it. It spreads easily like water, but feels heavy on the skin - almost like using a matte product. Could it be due to the zinc oxide? It feels quite dry. After application, my skin feels a bit suffocated, so I ended up mixing it with a very hydrating sunscreen. It's also quite rich in oils... In winter, it might be tolerable, but the oiliness is still challenging. I suspect the 'glow' it claims to give is actually just shine from excess oil. It leaves my hands feeling greasy too. As someone who applies sunscreen generously, I find the feel of this product, which also contains serum, quite unpleasant. When applying with hands, it pills and creates little bits that roll off. The scent isn't great either. I just can't bring myself to use this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinDec 19, 2021
I absolutely love this product! It's amazing for my combination skin - my cheeks are so dry they feel like they might crack, while my T-zone is oily. I used to use Cl**s sunscreen, which felt moisturizing when applied but still left my skin oily. This one, however, feels rich going on but dries to a velvety finish. It gives me a beautiful glow while keeping my skin matte and hydrated at the same time. It's truly incredible! I'll use this forever. The brightening effect looks so natural - my mom even asked why my skin looks so good. It gives that fresh, well-rested, healthy skin look. There are no downsides! Well, maybe one tiny thing - at first, it doesn't mix well and you might feel some particles. But honestly, it doesn't bother me at all! Remember to shake well before use! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 1, 2021
I've been wanting to try this product for a while, so I grabbed it when it went on sale. Well... haha! First off, although it's called a serum, it's not that runny! I thought it would have a sun milk texture, but it's more like an emulsion! The brightening effect is definitely noticeable. Since I don't usually wear much makeup, it's perfect to just apply this one product for a light coverage! Of course, the effect fades over time. It's definitely hydrating, so it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or patchy. Also, it doesn't seem to irritate my skin or cause any breakouts, so it feels like a gentle product. The smell is awful... It's like a mix of old soy milk, vitamin C powder, and ramen seasoning. Despite its many benefits, the scent overpowers everything! This oddly sticky smell... You did test this before releasing it, right? Also, it's oilier than I expected. It has more of a rich feel than a hydrating serum, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 8, 2021
It's packed with hydration and has a slight richness to it. My skin didn't experience any blemishes, and it absorbs well. The texture is quite watery, making it a bit tricky to control the amount. I was worried because everyone said the smell was overwhelming, but maybe it's been reformulated? It has a tangy lemon scent mixed with a medicinal smell, but it's not as off-putting as I expected. It's tolerable, and you get used to it pretty quickly. Don't apply it by putting it on your hands first - just apply it directly to your face. Remember to shake well before use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 26, 2021
First off, the texture is incredibly watery, so be careful as it can easily run if you squeeze out too much. Secondly, always remember to shake it well before use! If you don't, you might end up with just clear liquid sometimes. It leaves your skin feeling hydrated with a nice, dewy glow. This would work great as a brightening moisturizer with SPF instead of BB cream or foundation. That's how I've been using it successfully! However, its hydration power is a bit weak, so I apply a more moisturizing sunscreen as a base first, then layer this on top. It can look a bit too shiny when applied, so using a makeup sponge to blend it in might give you a more even application. Shake the bottle well, carefully squeeze some onto your hand, distribute it over your face, and then gently pat it in with a makeup sponge. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 11, 2021
- Serum texture absorbs well - Moisturizing without being matte - Mineral sunscreen free from harmful ingredients - Almost no white cast - There are some granules or powder-like particles, but they disappear as you apply It works better when you shake it before use! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 10, 2021
I bought this after checking the ingredients! My skin is quite sensitive, and even slightly incompatible cosmetics can make my whole face react badly. I've been using it for 2 days now, and there haven't been any special issues. The absorption is really nice as it's a serum. It has a water-like texture and applies moisturizing! It evens skin tone naturally, like applying a light base. But the scent is really... wow. I usually ignore fragrance if the ingredients are good, but this scent is unlike anything I've smelled before. How to describe it? It's like milk mixed with some kind of crushed medicine? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 9, 2021
I really appreciate that this product has gentle ingredients. My skin has become super sensitive lately, making me afraid to try any new cosmetics. But this one didn't cause any reactions when I applied it. The absorption is great, it's adequately moisturizing, and feels refreshingly light. I think it's because of the water-based formula. There's a very slight oiliness, but it doesn't make my skin look greasy over time. You only feel a hint of richness when applying. I don't think there's any sunscreen with less oiliness than this one. I also like the subtle brightening effect it gives. The scent is an issue. I understand it's fragrance-free, but the smell is still quite strong. It makes me a bit nauseous. It takes some time to get used to it. Also, because it has a very liquid consistency, it can be a bit tricky to control the amount you use. However, once you get used to it, it's not too inconvenient. Despite these drawbacks, I'm still very satisfied with this product. After applying it all over, I like to add an extra layer on my cheekbones and forehead for additional protection. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 24, 2021
This is exactly the texture and ingredients I've been longing for! I've been searching for a mineral sunscreen with a lightweight, water-like emulsion that glides on effortlessly. I'm so thrilled that Aromatica has launched the sunscreen of my dreams! It's absolutely perfect! Unlike typical mineral sunscreens that are difficult to apply due to their chalky texture, or those that spread well but are loaded with silicones or leave a dry, heavy feeling due to zinc... Aromatica has addressed all these issues. They've created a moisturizing sunscreen that applies smoothly without silicones, provides some brightening effects, and is free from harmful ingredients. It's truly impressive! Looking at the ingredient list, I can see how much effort they've put into this product. I'm committed to being a loyal customer and will support them wholeheartedly! There's a slight medicinal scent, but as someone who doesn't pay much attention to fragrance, it doesn't bother me at all. This product seems particularly well-suited for those with dry skin.
