I really liked how it naturally evens out my skin tone. Despite its thin consistency, it doesn't absorb well and feels heavy on the skin, which was disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 22, 2022
No thick or artificial white cast here! It naturally brightens your skin like you've applied a brightening moisturizer. I love the fluid texture (less likely to cause blemishes). No eye irritation at all. I needed a sunscreen for those awkward times when you're not sure whether to wear makeup because of masks, and this product fits the bill perfectly. If you dab a tiny bit of cushion foundation on top in certain areas, you've got an incredibly natural-looking makeup finish. For a mineral sunscreen, it's surprisingly gentle on the skin. I've been using it for a week with no blemishes so far. I'll need to use it a bit longer to gauge its sun protection effectiveness. I'll update my review after a month of use. It leaves a slight white powder residue. That infamous scent is quite strong, but my allergies make it less noticeable. You need to shake it vigorously, which can make your arms ache. It's extremely drying for winter use - daily application can lead to dead skin cells (might be better in summer?). The caprylic ingredient might be causing a slightly stuffy, film-like feeling on the skin, but the benefits make it tolerable. Even after using cleansing oil, it seems to leave a residue, so exfoliation is a must. The entire Kakadu line seems great, but I couldn't even test the cream due to stearic acid. If anyone from Aromatica is reading this, please make a moisturizer without that ingredient - I'd love to use the entire Kakadu line! Applying sunscreen with a silicone puff reduces that characteristic stuffy feeling compared to using your hands. The Espoir silicone puff is fantastic - why don't they sell more of those? - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinDec 19, 2021
I absolutely love this product! It's amazing for my combination skin - my cheeks are so dry they feel like they might crack, while my T-zone is oily. I used to use Cl**s sunscreen, which felt moisturizing when applied but still left my skin oily. This one, however, feels rich going on but dries to a velvety finish. It gives me a beautiful glow while keeping my skin matte and hydrated at the same time. It's truly incredible! I'll use this forever. The brightening effect looks so natural - my mom even asked why my skin looks so good. It gives that fresh, well-rested, healthy skin look. There are no downsides! Well, maybe one tiny thing - at first, it doesn't mix well and you might feel some particles. But honestly, it doesn't bother me at all! Remember to shake well before use! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 12, 2021
This mineral sunscreen is wonderfully hydrating, has great ingredients, and naturally brightens the skin! The scent is a fleeting coconut aroma that quickly transitions to a vitamin supplement fragrance. If you don't allow your skincare to fully absorb, this product can clump up and peel off like dead skin cells! Ensuring complete absorption is absolutely essential! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 26, 2021
First off, the ingredients are excellent. It provides a natural brightening effect. However, it doesn't give a glow on combination dehydrated skin. The scent is a major issue. I usually don't mind when reviews mention unpleasant smells, thinking natural scents are better than artificial fragrances. But wow, this is something else. It smells like musty old blankets from a dated guesthouse closet. Absolutely not recommended for those with sensitive noses. Also, despite shaking it vigorously, the formula remains thin and inconvenient to use. And being thin doesn't even make it absorb well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 10, 2021
I bought this after checking the ingredients! My skin is quite sensitive, and even slightly incompatible cosmetics can make my whole face react badly. I've been using it for 2 days now, and there haven't been any special issues. The absorption is really nice as it's a serum. It has a water-like texture and applies moisturizing! It evens skin tone naturally, like applying a light base. But the scent is really... wow. I usually ignore fragrance if the ingredients are good, but this scent is unlike anything I've smelled before. How to describe it? It's like milk mixed with some kind of crushed medicine?
