I loved using this generously because of its gentle ingredients and generous amount. It's a bit thin, so I had to reapply. There's also some white cast, which made me hesitant to use too much. - ma*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJan 5, 2024
I decided to try Aromatica because of its reputation for good ingredients. It comes out like a thin cream and applies with a watery, hydrating texture. When you put it on, it's not exactly lightweight - there's quite a bit of richness! It provides a fairly strong brightening effect, almost like you're wearing makeup. If you have a fair complexion, it shouldn't be too much of an issue. After some time, it settles nicely. The metal ball inside helps mix the product well for easy application. While it seems to absorb well, there's something odd about it. It spreads easily like water, but feels heavy on the skin - almost like using a matte product. Could it be due to the zinc oxide? It feels quite dry. After application, my skin feels a bit suffocated, so I ended up mixing it with a very hydrating sunscreen. It's also quite rich in oils... In winter, it might be tolerable, but the oiliness is still challenging. I suspect the 'glow' it claims to give is actually just shine from excess oil. It leaves my hands feeling greasy too. As someone who applies sunscreen generously, I find the feel of this product, which also contains serum, quite unpleasant. When applying with hands, it pills and creates little bits that roll off. The scent isn't great either. I just can't bring myself to use this product. - jo*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 24, 2023
I really liked how it naturally evens out my skin tone. Despite its thin consistency, it doesn't absorb well and feels heavy on the skin, which was disappointing. - dd******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 10, 2022
It absorbs well and seems to even out my skin tone just right, which I love! I personally don't mind the scent, but it's definitely not a pleasant fragrance. - gn*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresSep 25, 2022
The ingredients are great. The water-like texture spreads easily when applied. Unfortunately, it leaves a strong white cast. Despite its water-like consistency, it sits on top of the skin like a layer of powder, which is disappointing. - yk*****Normal SkinRecommendedJul 2, 2022
This is my favorite Aromatica sunscreen so far. Unlike their previous products that always had issues with water separation, this one has a metal ball inside that helps mix everything well, preventing separation. I love how it provides just the right amount of brightening. With environmental consciousness in mind, I exclusively use this brand for my sunscreen needs. When you're almost finished with the product, the metal ball can sometimes block the opening, making it difficult to dispense. The bigger issue is that if you're unaware of this blockage and press too hard, it can spray everywhere. You always have to be careful not to get it on your clothes. I hope they can improve it so that while it mixes well, it doesn't block the opening. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 26, 2022
It absorbs well and any white cast fades away after a while The strong, ammonia-like scent lingers for a long time. Be careful, as it can sting your eyes if you're not cautious It comes off easily with cleansing water, but soap doesn't work well for removal - cr*********Combination SkinRecommendedMay 16, 2022
It doesn't trigger blemishes and provides a slight richness that feels comfortable on the skin (impressive for a mineral sunscreen! It doesn't feel tight or constricting). The subtle glow it gives makes your complexion look healthier. The brightening effect is immediate but only lasts about an hour. Even though I apply a generous amount (about the size of a dime), the upper part of my face (the exposed area) still develops freckles... I wonder if the formula comes off easily? Since the brightening effect is subtle, I use this as a base layer and then apply a brightening moisturizer with better coverage on top to complete my skin prep routine! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 14, 2022
Well, considering the price, there wasn't anything particularly impressive. To be honest, it didn't feel much different from other products. First off, even after vigorously shaking it every time, the product still separated, which was disappointing. There were these gritty particles that felt like, well, imagine eating clams and getting a mouthful of sand - that kind of unpleasant texture. I feel bad for being so negative, but apart from having gentle ingredients for its price point, it wasn't great. - hi*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 10, 2022
I'm such a huge fan of Aromatica that I use their products for almost all my body and hair care basics. The good points of this product seem to be its ingredients. Also, the packaging is pretty cute! And there's no pilling, which is nice. Unfortunately, there are more disappointing aspects. First off, the scent... it smells like animal urine. Why does it have such a urine-like odor? I was shocked when I first opened and used it. Then there's the white cast! This isn't brightening, it's just a straight-up white cast. The worst part is that it doesn't wash off easily, even after cleansing twice. Is that good for sun protection? Maybe, but honestly... I bought this for light, no-makeup days, but it's more difficult to remove than actual makeup. It's incredibly stubborn... you need to cleanse multiple times to get it off.
