Heart Sensitive skin, redness, and thin skin are all OK with this product. As someone with delicate skin who's picky about cosmetics, I've used nearly half the bottle without any blemishes appearing - it's great! It seems gentle and effective for skin protection and soothing. Heart Bright complexion The brightening effect is very noticeable! In the photo, the left side of my hand is where I've absorbed the product, the middle is where I've rubbed it in a few times, and the right is when I first applied it. As you can see, it definitely brightens the skin, and I especially love how it naturally gives a pink tint to areas with redness. Heart Adequate hydration Despite containing zinc, it's moisturizing. However, those with very dry skin might feel some tightness. It's good to use with a hydrating cream or oil. Broken heart Scent The smell everyone talks about... well, it's really close to a musty odor. It was a bit difficult to get used to. Wearing a mask after applying it was torturous because you keep smelling it. But now that I've used over half the bottle, it's okay! Those with sensitive noses should avoid it. Broken heart Application As it's a mineral sunscreen, if not applied correctly, it can leave a white cast or pill. But if you pat it in well while spreading, it goes on smoothly. Broken heart Metal beads? There are tiny beads inside, and if you don't shake it well, it comes out grainy. I got startled when some got in my eye while applying. Make sure to shake it well and apply it on the back of your hand first. Heart Don't apply a 500 won coin-sized amount at once! Apply very small amounts thinly 3-4 times, and then add a bit more to the T-zone for a highlight effect. Heart I'm using it with aromatic hoho** oil, and it gives a natural glow while maintaining moisture - it's great! Heart As someone with redness, I put some in a separate container and reapply it throughout the day on areas where my mask rubs or on my cheeks. This keeps my skin looking bright and fresh until I leave work. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 22, 2022
No thick or artificial white cast here! It naturally brightens your skin like you've applied a brightening moisturizer. I love the fluid texture (less likely to cause blemishes). No eye irritation at all. I needed a sunscreen for those awkward times when you're not sure whether to wear makeup because of masks, and this product fits the bill perfectly. If you dab a tiny bit of cushion foundation on top in certain areas, you've got an incredibly natural-looking makeup finish. For a mineral sunscreen, it's surprisingly gentle on the skin. I've been using it for a week with no blemishes so far. I'll need to use it a bit longer to gauge its sun protection effectiveness. I'll update my review after a month of use. It leaves a slight white powder residue. That infamous scent is quite strong, but my allergies make it less noticeable. You need to shake it vigorously, which can make your arms ache. It's extremely drying for winter use - daily application can lead to dead skin cells (might be better in summer?). The caprylic ingredient might be causing a slightly stuffy, film-like feeling on the skin, but the benefits make it tolerable. Even after using cleansing oil, it seems to leave a residue, so exfoliation is a must. The entire Kakadu line seems great, but I couldn't even test the cream due to stearic acid. If anyone from Aromatica is reading this, please make a moisturizer without that ingredient - I'd love to use the entire Kakadu line! Applying sunscreen with a silicone puff reduces that characteristic stuffy feeling compared to using your hands. The Espoir silicone puff is fantastic - why don't they sell more of those? - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 8, 2021
It's packed with hydration and has a slight richness to it. My skin didn't experience any blemishes, and it absorbs well. The texture is quite watery, making it a bit tricky to control the amount. I was worried because everyone said the smell was overwhelming, but maybe it's been reformulated? It has a tangy lemon scent mixed with a medicinal smell, but it's not as off-putting as I expected. It's tolerable, and you get used to it pretty quickly. Don't apply it by putting it on your hands first - just apply it directly to your face. Remember to shake well before use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 27, 2021
As someone with super sensitive skin, I appreciate that this product doesn't contain any harmful ingredients. It's gentle and doesn't cause any blemishes or irritation, which is fantastic for me. As others have mentioned, the smell is quite unpleasant. It's reminiscent of a mix between urine and sour milk, which is bothersome every time I apply it. I wish it were fragrance-free, aligning with the brand's natural image. For me, it feels a bit heavy on the skin, leaving my face feeling slightly suffocated after application. Also, rather than evening skin tone, it leaves a noticeable white cast - more pronounced than other products I've tried. I find it works better when mixed with a hydrating essence, adding more moisture to the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 14, 2021
Take your time when applying this product! I love that there's no irritation after application. Even with my super sensitive skin, it's been two hours since I applied it and no small blemishes have appeared! Overall, I'm quite satisfied. Oh, and don't forget to shake the bottle well before use! Among brightening moisturizers, I haven't seen a product with such good ingredients and excellent tone-evening effects. It's amazing to have this level of brightening and UV protection without any harmful ingredients. I'm also using Aromatica's aloe product, but I'm very pleased with this brightening moisturizer too. Just make sure to apply it carefully around the pores and use only a small amount on areas with fine lines. I appreciate that it's a vegan cosmetic product. I hope many people will try it - the ingredients are fantastic, the product is great, and I recommend it for those with sensitive skin. It would be even better if the container were transparent! Be careful when cleansing your face. If you're not thorough, it might not wash off completely. It does settle into fine lines, but not into pores! Make sure to take care of your skin texture before applying. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 9, 2021
The lightweight formula absorbs so well! While I naturally have fair skin, this makes it look even more porcelain-like with great adherence. My skin tends to be super sensitive with deep dryness, but this sun serum didn't cause any blemishes. Perhaps because I applied it after proper skincare, I didn't feel any tightness. In summer, when I don't want to wear makeup, just applying this makes my skin look flawless. It's even fine to layer! Definitely a product I'd repurchase. ----------------------------------------------- I've been using this daily for over two weeks now, and I wanted to add more thoughts! I didn't realize it while constantly moving between home, car, and office in air conditioning. But when I took a walk in the park on my day off, it really started to run, leaving white streaks even on my neck wrinkles. White sweat was flowing like waves... It might not work well on humid, hot days. The truly disappointing aspect is... the smell... sigh. While it does fade after some time, I wondered if they should have added fragrance. There's something that comes to mind when you smell it... I asked people around me what it smelled like without telling them, and they said... baby urine. Sadly, I agree. Make sure to apply it after proper skincare!
