The green tint helps calm redness in the skin. It's also great as a substitute for sunscreen. The stearic acid ingredient is a bit disappointing. When applied alone, it can be drying, so I mix it with other products. - fp********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 17, 2025
The application was impressively smooth! No other sunscreen covers redness as well as this product! Plus, it hardly causes any blemishes! There wasn't really anything bad. If I had to pick something... hmm... actually, there's nothing specific. Nothing to add. - jw*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 12, 2025
This product covers redness most effectively. I have combination dehydrated skin, and while I used other products well in other seasons, they were too dry for winter. I tried a famous moisturizing product, but the redness coverage doesn't even compare to this one, so I'm back to using this. It's unrivaled in how it completely eliminates redness. Anyone stressed about redness should definitely use this up. It's extremely drying... The area around the nose is the reddest, so you'd think a matte finish would keep it smooth, but it's so dry that in winter I can only use it around my nose. With my combination dehydrated skin, if I apply it all over my face, it feels like my skin might crack. Mixing it with some oil or something similar seems to make it less drying... (though that might reduce its sun protection effectiveness). It might be best to apply this only around the nose and use a more hydrating sunscreen on the outer parts of the face. - gn********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 16, 2025
It doubles as a makeup base, so there's no reason not to use it! I didn't have any issues. It would be great if you could offer a nice discount! - po*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedFeb 9, 2025
Great for covering redness and flushing on the skin. I have extremely sensitive skin, but this brightening moisturizer hasn't caused any reactions, even when I sleep with it on! The absorption isn't the best, unfortunately. It's a cream that can be quite drying and prone to pilling, so you really need to prep your skin well before applying. - hu********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 23, 2024
It definitely provides good coverage and absorbs well. This has been my go-to product for about 3 years. It's surprisingly noticeable. I often hear people say it looks like I'm wearing foundation. This happens even with just one pump. - cl******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedDec 4, 2024
I love how it applies lightly and naturally covers redness. Usually, when I buy products like this, I can't finish them within 6 months of opening. But with this one, I used it all up and even bought two more! I'm worried about it being discontinued... I'm living abroad and bought it from Global Olive Young, but now it's only available on the official website. I really hope they keep producing it! - vv********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 22, 2024
First off, I have acne-prone combination dehydrated skin! Let me break this down for you: Who should buy this? 1. Those with severe facial redness 2. People with uneven skin tone due to acne scars 3. Anyone looking for a foundation-free option that applies like sunscreen If you fit any of these, this product is for you! I tick all three boxes, so I bought it right away. It was actually recommended to me, and it's that good... (As you can see from the photo, it's well-used. I use it daily!) 1. No need for foundation, just apply like sunscreen. What makes this better than foundation is how incredibly well it neutralizes redness. Your skin looks fairer. After applying this, my friends said I looked unusually pure that day (true story!). I'm obsessed with sun protection, so I apply sunscreen and then this on top. Makes cleansing a bit of a challenge though! 2. You need to control the amount well. If you apply too much, it can look like stage makeup. I'd suggest half a pump for each cheek/forehead area, and one pump for nose and chin. Use a full pump if you want more coverage. 3. It's really good... I've been using it almost daily on weekdays since I bought it (July 10, 2024), and there's still plenty left. Feel free to use it generously! 1. If you apply without exfoliating, it can look flaky. My skin is prone to this, but it really emphasizes dead skin cells. 2. Even with exfoliation... maybe I'm not good at controlling the amount, but after about 8 hours, it tends to separate. Try applying less or make sure you have a solid skincare base. 3. It feels a bit drying. I have oily skin and still feel this way, so those with dry skin might find it quite drying. To really make the most of this, it's best to apply it as a first layer of tone correction before foundation! I usually just wear this alone because I'm too lazy for full makeup, but I'll update my review after trying it with foundation later. - os*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 14, 2024
This seems like a great product for those with redness who want to go foundation-free. Among products marketed as foundation-free, this one offers pretty good coverage. Since it provides good coverage, applying too much can make it look thick on the skin. For best results, apply one layer all over, then add an extra layer on areas with redness for better coverage. - jo******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 13, 2024
It's great for covering redness and evening out my complexion. I love that it's not too matte. The opaque container makes it hard to tell how much product is left. I'll need to keep an eye on its staying power.
