The cream is suitable for oily skin. I tested it for about 10 days from 9/11 to 9/20, and to make an accurate diagnosis, I washed my face in the morning and evening, and only applied the Calming Balm without putting anything else on my skin. I've been applying it every night since I received it. Even though I have an extremely oily skin type, it doesn't feel sticky after application and doesn't feel heavy on my skin right away. My skin feels plump and bouncy. I used to wake up with a lot of sebum on my face, but that's not the case anymore. It seems to have helped balance my oil and moisture levels really well. I think I'm starting to understand what a healthy skin barrier feels like. My skin feels nourished and healthy from within. I'm planning to purchase the daily calming lotion as well! The good thing was that since it was for dry skin, there were areas on my face that would become white and flaky, and no matter how much essence or cream I applied, over time those areas would become too dry and taut. But when I applied it to those areas, it was great.
