My skin is oily and acne-prone! Lately, the weather has been so humid, and my skin has become extremely sensitive, turning red and irritated even with just a little misstep using toner pads. I needed something soothing, so I decided to try this Noticely Calming Balm! When choosing creams, I prioritize smooth application the most, and I was worried the 'balm' name might mean it would be too heavy. But unlike the balms I'm familiar with, this has a much lighter texture! It's definitely not as quickly absorbing as a water-based moisturizer, but I was still able to apply it thinly without feeling weighed down, which I really dislike. In the evenings, after toning, I spread this on very thinly all over, and added an extra thin layer on the reddened areas. The next morning, my skin was so much calmer! Not completely soothed, but definitely improved. It's true that oily or acne-prone skin types may find balm textures too heavy, especially in the summer. So I'll be using this on the days my skin is irritated, and plan to use it daily once the weather turns cooler. I'd highly recommend this to dry skin types! The packaging is so pretty too - that vibrant blue and the size is perfect for carrying around. This seems like a product I'll be able to use consistently.

This product faithfully performs the function of a 'night' product. It has good moisturizing power, and I think it would be perfect to use as a skin care occlusive, especially in transitional seasons or winter when you have dry skin!!!! Most importantly, sometimes when I apply night-type cosmetics incorrectly, there's an unpleasant... scent that I can't seem to smell, but I felt comfortable applying this and the texture was good too 😁 The texture is thicker than a typical cream, but it didn't feel overly heavy when I spread it out. The texture spread out quite transparently and had good coverage. After applying and over time, my skin definitely feels more plump and moisturized. I have an oily T-zone, but my cheeks are the least oily area, and while it felt a bit heavy at first on my cheeks, the texture gradually absorbed. After about 5 minutes, it finished off quite refreshingly on my oily skin!
