My child has allergies and immediately scratches with harsh shampoos, but this one is clean and gentle. Convenience: No need to create lather separately, which is convenient. It's non-irritating and washes off smoothly. Great for seborrheic dermatitis: When my child was a newborn, they had severe scalp flaking. I wish I had this product then... At the time, no shampoo could solve the issue. With its natural cleansing ingredients, it seems like it can clean thoroughly while being gentle. Scent: Being fragrance-free, children don't reject it. Sometimes scented products can cause aversion in children or mothers, but this product is clean and fresh without any fragrance.
ConsThere aren't any particular downsides to the product, but it would be great if Atopalm could also release a foam type that can be used for facial cleansing!
TipIt's gentle and good for children with atopic dermatitis or allergies.

I didn't experience any scalp itching or tingling sensations, so it felt gentle and effective. It was also convenient for the kids to use. For children, it produced just the right amount of lather, though adults might need to use a bit more. I tried it myself and found it gentle on my scalp without any irritation. The rich foam is perfect for little ones, offering both a luxurious feel and adequate cleansing effectiveness. I'm reassured by the fact that it's formulated without 10 common skin-irritating ingredients. Above all, it's passed non-irritation alternative tests, making it even safer for children, which I absolutely love.
ConsThere weren't any downsides. The user experience is fantastic. It's an Atopalm product, so it's no surprise there's nothing to complain about.

It's a foam-type shampoo with a delightfully rich lather. One to two pumps were sufficient, and it had a nearly fragrance-free scent. There was no skin irritation, and when the suds accidentally ran into my baby's eyes while rinsing, they didn't seem to feel any burning sensation. Also, it rinsed off easily without leaving any residue. My baby has super sensitive skin, so I'm very particular about ingredients. With Atopalm Newborn Scalp Shampoo, I could use it with confidence due to its carefully selected ingredients.
ConsThere wasn't anything disappointing about this product. It's great value for money, and I highly recommend it! Even though my baby has super sensitive skin, we didn't experience any blemishes.

They're so gentle that it's perfect for young children with delicate skin, giving me peace of mind. Sometimes my kids get flaky scalps, but using Atopalm Newborn Scalp Shampoo helps manage those dead skin cells without any irritation. It's really great for that!
ConsIt doesn't create an abundance of lather, so if you're used to rich, foamy shampoos, you might find this aspect a bit disappointing. However, I don't mind it at all because the ingredients are so gentle and it still has great cleansing effectiveness.

As it's designed for newborns, I've shared some with a friend who just had a baby, using a foam dispenser from Daiso. Being an Atopalm emulsion and cream user, I had no hesitation in testing it. Newborns and infants have less active sebaceous glands on their scalp compared to adults (stress can stimulate these glands, affecting scalp health). So, as others have mentioned, it doesn't focus heavily on cleansing power. However, its foaming formula, derived from natural coconut oil, has passed skin irritation and eye safety tests. It's a worry-free option for babies! There's a very subtle coconut scent. As a gentle product that helps improve scalp dead skin cells, I'd recommend it for those with atopic dermatitis too.
ConsThere's nothing particularly disappointing about this product! Just keep in mind that since it's designed for newborns, adults might find the cleansing effectiveness insufficient.
TipMy friend says using Atopalm Newborn Scalp Emulsion before shampooing works really well! If you're looking for gentle scalp exfoliation, definitely give this a try!

Cons- The price point might be a bit steep for some. - The mild fragrance may not fully mask baby's scalp odor.
Tip- For best results, use in combination with the Newborn Scalp Emulsion.

The Newborn Scalp Shampoo, being a bubble type, produces foam immediately when pressed, which is great. Speed is crucial when bathing a child, so being able to wash quickly is a big plus. - Recommended skin type: As it's a non-irritating foam type, I recommend it for all skin types. - Satisfying user experience: Despite being a shampoo, I tried washing my hands with it once. The foam texture left them moisturized without irritation. - Texture: It's a foam type that produces bubbles immediately when pumped. - Fragrance: It's fragrance-free, suitable even for newborns.
Cons- Drawbacks of the product: The fragrance-free aspect can be either a pro or a con depending on the person. For me, it was the latter. With an active 7-year-old boy, I noticed that odors quickly returned even after shampooing when using a fragrance-free product. For newborns or infants with less activity, a fragrance-free option is better as it avoids potentially harmful ingredients. However, my personal preference is for scented products. I wish they offered both fragrance-free and scented versions, allowing consumers to choose based on their needs.
TipDon't throw away the white plastic part on the pump. It's perfect for travel - just reattach it before packing. It prevents accidental pumping in your luggage, keeping everything clean and tidy.

Before using this shampoo, I had switched to a different one that caused blemishes on my scalp. However, while using this product, I didn't experience any irritation or scalp issues, likely due to its gentle ingredients. It's evident that this is a mild product safe for use, having completed safety tests for infants and children. As a pH-balanced, slightly acidic product, I was concerned it might lack cleansing power, and being fragrance-free, I worried it wouldn't eliminate scalp odor. Surprisingly, despite my oily scalp, my hair didn't become greasy or smelly quickly. The foam formula seems perfect for children to use comfortably without irritation.
ConsI noticed my hair feeling stiff right from rinsing, and I had difficulty combing through it.

I got to try their new 2023 baby shampoo, Newborn Scalp, as part of The Hwahae Testers. It's designed to help improve scalp dead skin cells in children and is free from 10 potentially harmful skin ingredients. Using cleansing agents derived from natural cocoa oil, it removes impurities and sebum without irritating the scalp. My eldest daughter tried it and said it was super gentle and didn't sting her eyes at all. ❤️ Product Form I remember how hard it was to wash a newborn, holding their neck with one hand and squeezing the product with the other... But Newborn Scalp can be easily pumped with one hand, and it comes out as a creamy foam, which is fantastic. ✨ The foam doesn't dissipate quickly and stays rich even when rubbed between hands. ❤️ Scent It has a subtle, pleasant fragrance that's not polarizing, with a very slight sweet note. ✔️ After 4 days of use Usually, my child's hair gets oily after just one day, and there's scratching and flaking. But after using Newborn Scalp shampoo, these issues seem to have significantly reduced.
ConsThere's nothing to complain about, I'm very satisfied, and the rich lather is great! Most importantly, with other products, my kids would sometimes yell that it stings when it gets in their eyes while washing alone. But with this product, they use it well and say it doesn't sting even if it gets in their eyes!
TipI heard there's also a Newborn Scalp emulsion that helps soothe scalp itching. People who've used it say it's good for applying to the scalp and helps with dead skin cell removal, so it might be nice to use them together.

Texture: It's a typical foam cleanser! Produces soft, light bubbles. For my 16-month-old daughter with thin hair, two pumps are plenty. Experience: It's a mildly acidic shampoo that's moisturizing without being drying. My little one has very dry skin and atopic dermatitis. So for us, a gentle and hydrating product is more important than strong cleansing power, and this product suits our baby well in that regard. What I'm most satisfied with is that it didn't cause any blemishes at all! It functions well as a shampoo while being trouble-free - a solid, reliable product. Scent: It has that characteristic cosmetic scent, but it's very close to being unscented. It's the kind of subtle fragrance you find in gentle products.
ConsWhile I didn't notice any particular improvements for my baby with atopic dermatitis and extremely dry skin, what I appreciate most is that it didn't cause any irritation or blemishes.
TipFor my baby with thin hair, two pumps were just right!
