Personally love that it's fragrance-free 2. The ingredients are gentle and kind to hair 3. Due to these ingredients, it's very mild - perfect even for newborns! 4. Super convenient as it foams instantly when pumped With her waist-length hair, about 6 pumps ensure a thorough cleanse! 5. Though she's young and doesn't produce much sebum or have noticeable dead skin cells yet, it cleanses effectively and leaves her scalp feeling fresh. I've included a photo showing the amount dispensed with one pump.
ConsSo far, I haven't found any significant drawbacks. The only minor issue is that her hair feels quite stiff after washing, but that might be due to its length.
TipI divide the pumped amount between both hands and work it into the crown and back of her head with a gentle massaging motion.

Both my daughter and son bathe independently now. We use a foaming pump for body wash, but they'd apply shampoo directly to their hair. This sometimes led to inadequate washing, but the foam shampoo solved that issue. I was worried the foam might dissipate quickly, but surprisingly, it maintains its rich lather. If it hadn't, this would've been a one-time purchase for us. I've tried various Atopalm products, and I love their nearly fragrance-free scent. The ingredients are, of course, top-notch. Being mildly acidic, it should be gentle on children's scalps.
ConsIt's not particularly softening. Both my kids have permed hair, and it felt a bit stiff after shampooing and blow-drying. Not sure if it's due to the mild acidity, but it seems more suitable for very young children. We always follow up with a separate conditioner.
TipWe don't have any special tips, but unlike liquid shampoos where we had to use a hair tie to reduce the amount dispensed per pump, this foam type doesn't require that adjustment. For my sister with shoulder-length hair, two pumps were just right.

The lather isn't overly rich, but rather delicate and soft - just like the kind you'd expect for babies. Though it's unscented, there's a very subtle powdery fragrance that's barely noticeable. It seems like it would work well for those with shorter hair.
ConsWhile the cleansing effectiveness is better than expected, it leaves my hair feeling a bit stiff. As someone with long hair, I feel like I'll go through the bottle quickly, only getting a few uses out of it.

Before using this shampoo, I had switched to a different one that caused blemishes on my scalp. However, while using this product, I didn't experience any irritation or scalp issues, likely due to its gentle ingredients. It's evident that this is a mild product safe for use, having completed safety tests for infants and children. As a pH-balanced, slightly acidic product, I was concerned it might lack cleansing power, and being fragrance-free, I worried it wouldn't eliminate scalp odor. Surprisingly, despite my oily scalp, my hair didn't become greasy or smelly quickly. The foam formula seems perfect for children to use comfortably without irritation.
ConsI noticed my hair feeling stiff right from rinsing, and I had difficulty combing through it.

The foam is quite rich, but it rinses off easily. There's hardly any scent, making it perfect for kids.
ConsFor adults, the cleansing effectiveness is a bit too weak, haha. My daughter is 5, and it does make her hair feel a bit stiff. We need to use an additional infant conditioner.

It's a convenient pump-type product that dispenses foam. I loved how practical it was - the rich lather means you don't need to work up a foam yourself. Not having to create lather separately is a huge time-saver, which is probably its biggest advantage. 2. Made with natural ingredients, it's gentle enough for newborns and has a subtle, pleasant fragrance. I felt even more confident using it when I learned that it doesn't sting children's eyes if the foam gets in. It's great for maintaining a healthy scalp and hair, especially when they've become sensitive. The fact that it also helps with dead skin cell removal makes it even more trustworthy. 3. I have longer hair at the back, but two pumps were sufficient. So far, the foam has been consistently rich, which means you can use it generously considering the volume you get.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that you can't check how much is left due to the opaque container. While the hair might feel slightly stiff after use, it cleans thoroughly and leaves a soft finish, making me reach for it often. I recommend this reliable brand - the Atopalm Newborn Scalp Shampoo.

I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers again, so I gave this product a try! Previously, I was using Atopalm Fresh 2-in-1 Shampoo. Since I have a super sensitive scalp, I've tried almost every shampoo out there, but due to severe scalp blemishes and itching, I've been using baby shampoo as well! It's definitely reassuring to use a gentle baby product, and even as an adult, I've been able to use it without any irritation!
ConsHowever, this product seems even milder than my previous baby shampoo, so much so that the scent and overall effect might be a bit too gentle for an adult like me with long, thick hair. My baby also has long hair, and our previous product had a conditioning effect that made the hair soft, but this one leaves the hair feeling a bit stiff. It might be better suited for babies with fine hair!

So I tried it on my 4-year-old son instead! Compared to foaming cleansers, the lather isn't as soft, probably because it's a shampoo. The foam bubbles are larger than a face cleanser, which makes it feel a bit coarse. With the hot weather lately, we've been sweating a lot, and I noticed less scalp buildup after using this shampoo. For newborns, we usually wash them quickly to avoid crying or catching a cold. I like that it's a foam formula, making it easy to wash with one hand while holding the baby with the other. With liquid formulas, you'd need to work up a lather first. The scent is very mild, almost unscented. It's faint and doesn't linger like typical baby shampoos, which I prefer. Strong fragrances can be irritating for newborns, and I personally dislike overpowering scents as they make me nauseous. This gentle fragrance works well for both baby and me! The ingredients are great too, so I can use it on my baby with confidence. My firstborn had blemishes from cosmetics, but since using Atopalm, we haven't had any issues. I trust Atopalm and will use this product with peace of mind!
ConsIf you want your baby's hair to feel softer, you might want to avoid this as it leaves the hair feeling a bit stiff after washing. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. Though I'm not sure how it'll work when I use it on my newborn!

Convenient foam formula The foam formula is incredibly convenient as you don't need to work up a lather with the shampoo. 2. Gentle ingredients While it may not matter for those without sensitive skin, the ingredients seem great for those with sensitivity or for use on children.
Cons1. Foam formula leads to higher product usage While it's perfect for babies, adults might find that the foam formula results in using more product, potentially leading to quicker depletion. 2. Slightly stiff after-feel The finish isn't particularly soft; there's a bit of stiffness to the hair after use.
TipFor a softer feel, using a conditioner or hair treatment afterwards worked well.

The ingredient composition was decent, and by baby standards, it was gentle with adequate cleansing effectiveness and a reasonable level of firmness. The foam format also made it convenient to use.
ConsFor adults, the cleansing effectiveness might be too weak, and the firmness makes it hard to say it has a good feel. If I were looking for something to use on my child, I'd probably search for a product with an even better ingredient composition than this one. It's not terrible, but it feels like it's stuck in a middle ground. I think it would be better if they made the ingredient composition just a bit gentler.
