  The shampoo creates big, fluffy, and rich foam. It has a subtle, gentle herbal scent that disappears after rinsing. It lathers well and feels gentle during washing. After rinsing, it gives a sense of volume to the hair. It's mild and leaves the hair feeling clean. The cleansing effectiveness seems good. I'm pleased that it doesn't cause any blemishes on the scalp. Even after some time, there's minimal oiliness. I also appreciate that it contains biotin in its ingredients.

  Here's my review after using it on my 4-year-old son:) I've been using Atopalm Top-to-Toe Wash as my go-to product, and this new Newborn Scalp Shampoo is incredibly convenient with its instant foam pump:) The foam in my hand is from just one pump! - Gentle ingredients suitable for newborns - Excellent cleansing effectiveness (great at removing skin oils!) - Ready-to-use foam that can be applied and cleansed immediately - Subtle scent (barely noticeable) - Can be used as a body cleanser with just a pump - I'd give it top marks for the ability to wash the entire body without irritation, using the soft foam that doesn't require rubbing:)

  I wish the amount dispensed per pump was a bit more. For my 4-year-old, it took about 4 pumps to wash his hair. I think even for a newborn, you might need at least 2 pumps.

  Tip

  Think of it as an all-over cleanser for kids, like a foaming top-to-toe wash:) It's so convenient!

  I've been using separate shampoo and body wash because all-in-one products tend to make my hair stiff and don't cleanse well. I tried the new Newborn product right away! It has a rich lather with a subtle herbal scent and is gentle enough for use from 0-96 months. I love that it's a pump bottle, so no need to struggle to create foam. My 37-month-old daughter sweats a lot on her scalp, but this Newborn shampoo effectively controls both scalp odor and oiliness. She really enjoys when I gently massage it into her scalp. After use, her hair feels soft and not stiff at all, which is fantastic!

  Cons

  While I'm satisfied overall, those who prefer unscented products might have mixed feelings about the fragrance.

  Tip

  This is perfect for children with sensitive scalps. A small amount goes a long way, and for babies with very sensitive skin or severe dead skin cells, using it together with the emulsion might work even better.

  My baby used to scratch the back of their head a lot, so I stopped using shampoo after they turned one and tried the 'no-poo' method. But when the scratching got worse recently, I gave their scalp a thorough cleanse, and the scratching stopped! Then, as luck would have it, I became part of The Hwahae Testers and tried this shampoo. It was great at controlling excess oil and cleansed well until the hair felt squeaky clean. After that, my baby stopped scratching their head. However, my baby has fine, wavy hair that tends to tangle easily at the back, sometimes becoming as curly as afro-textured hair. After using this shampoo and putting the baby to sleep, you wouldn't believe how tangled it got! It's not that the product doesn't suit us; it's more that my baby's hair is quite demanding. The scalp is oily, but the hair is fine and curly, so it tends to be dry. The scent was pleasant, the pump was easy to use with one hand, it's gentle, and it lathers into a fine foam that makes washing easy. Now, I'm using it to cleanse every three days.

  Cons

  Parents of babies with very curly hair, fine hair, or dry hair might want to think twice about this product. It's disappointing how tangled the back of the hair gets. It would be great if it could balance oil control with moisture retention.

  For babies with very curly hair, apply camellia oil after cleansing as a finishing touch.

  1. Foam The foaming formula is convenient as you don't need to lather it on your head. However, since it's foam-based and I have thick hair, I tend to use more product. But it should be fine for newborns! 2. Fragrance It's amazing!! I was worried it might have that artificial scent common in other products with good ingredients, but I absolutely love this fragrance. It's not overpowering, and when you get close, it has a pleasant aroma. 3. Oil Control I originally had an oily scalp and often wore hats, which caused blemishes and excessive oiliness on my scalp. But after using this product for over a week, my scalp feels cleaner! The blemishes seem to have subsided, and the oiliness has reduced, giving a more balanced feel. An unexpected benefit: Unlike my previous shampoo, the superior ingredients in this one have helped reduce the acne on my back caused by rinsing! Also, I learned that my parents used Atopalm products when I was young, which gives me great confidence in the brand!

  Cons

  Hmm, there's really nothing bad, but if I had to pick something, it might be the quantity. However, this aspect is hardly noticeable given how good the product is.

  Tip

  For better oil control, apply a larger amount to the oily crown area!

  I have a scalp that occasionally flares up with seborrheic dermatitis. What I liked about this shampoo is that it doesn't have that typical oily feel, so after rinsing with water, my scalp feels thoroughly cleansed. The gentle ingredients mean it's unlikely to aggravate my scalp condition, making it suitable for regular use. This made me think that's why they might be marketing it for babies. I also personally liked that it comes in a foam pump dispenser. There's something about the foam that makes me feel like it's already been mixed inside the bottle before I use it, which I find appealing.

  I may not have a newborn's scalp, but I do have an oily one. This shampoo definitely seems to remove oil better than others I've tried. You can really feel how clean it leaves your hair. It's also convenient since you don't need to work up a lather separately.

  Cons

  It doesn't produce a rich lather, so you need to keep pumping it out as you work through different areas of your scalp.

  Tip

  When used with a scalp brush, it leaves your hair squeaky clean and keeps your scalp oil-free until the afternoon.

  Since Atopalm is known for being a gentle brand, I felt comfortable using this shampoo without worrying about the ingredients. The pump dispenser makes it easy to control the amount. When I applied it generously to my hair, it felt incredibly... light? I was pleasantly surprised by its cleansing effectiveness, so I've put my usual shampoo aside and continued using this one. It doesn't leave my hair feeling heavy, and it seems to keep oil production under control.

  Cons

  I find myself using quite a bit of product to get a good lather, so it runs out quickly! While it's gentle yet does a decent job at managing oiliness, which is a great advantage, it doesn't seem to be very effective at controlling scalp odor.

  Since it's a product used for babies, it's incredibly gentle. The fact that it comes out as foam when pumped is quite convenient. It's especially useful when bathing babies, as you can use it directly in bubble form. For adults, it's a great product to use in the morning. It's perfect for lightly removing excess oil in the morning after shampooing at night. Because it's so mild, it seems suitable for use even when your scalp is feeling sensitive.

  For adults, it's not particularly effective as a primary shampoo in terms of cleansing effectiveness, and you end up pumping more than expected. The volume is a bit excessive for adult use. It can leave your hair feeling somewhat stiff.
