I didn't experience any scalp itching or tingling sensations, so it felt gentle and effective. It was also convenient for the kids to use. For children, it produced just the right amount of lather, though adults might need to use a bit more. I tried it myself and found it gentle on my scalp without any irritation. The rich foam is perfect for little ones, offering both a luxurious feel and adequate cleansing effectiveness. I'm reassured by the fact that it's formulated without 10 common skin-irritating ingredients. Above all, it's passed non-irritation alternative tests, making it even safer for children, which I absolutely love.
ConsThere weren't any downsides. The user experience is fantastic. It's an Atopalm product, so it's no surprise there's nothing to complain about.

Let me share the advantages: Foaming shampoo magic! - Being a foam dispenser, you can apply it directly to the hair right after pumping. It might seem trivial, but it's surprisingly convenient! Soothes scalp itchiness - My child's hair is naturally clean, so I tried it on myself. I usually experience some scalp itchiness, but after using this shampoo, that irritation was significantly reduced. What a relief! Fragrance-free - This might be a matter of personal preference, but I love that it's unscented. When using it on children's hair, strong fragrances can be off-putting! It's just my personal taste, but I count this as a big plus.
ConsOne downside I noticed when using it on adult hair... it definitely gets oily a bit faster! However, this actually made me feel it was gentler when using it on my child. Adults might find their hair gets greasy more quickly. Nevertheless, I'd still recommend this to those who suffer from severe scalp itchiness!

Texture: Foam-type (rinses off quickly) Scent: Fragrance-free (no off-putting smell) Effectiveness: Eliminates itchiness Ingredients: No concerning components I wash my hair twice a day, morning and night, so I'm quite sensitive to ingredients. I'm relieved that there are no concerning components in this shampoo. The foam formula leaves no residue, which is great. With other shampoos, if I washed my hair in the evening and didn't dry it completely, I'd quickly develop dead skin cells on my scalp and experience itching. That's not the case with this shampoo. When I used it to wash my baby's hair, I found the foam formula much easier to rinse out compared to the liquid type I was using before. I'm also satisfied that there are no concerning ingredients.
ConsThe quantity is a bit small, unfortunately. While one pump is enough for my baby, for an adult with a short haircut, you need about three pumps. So it runs out quickly.
TipI recommend this for people with sensitive scalps, adults who wash their hair frequently, and for babies or children.

After using it, I was pleased that it didn't irritate my scalp or cause itching. Some shampoos can make my scalp dry and flaky, but this product didn't dry out my scalp at all. It also has excellent cleansing effectiveness, leaving my scalp feeling clean. I've been using it for over a week since I received it, and I'm using it without any blemishes. The fragrance is subtle, which I appreciate as it's not overwhelming. I love that it comes out as a rich foam when pumped, so there's no need to work up a lather - you can use it right away, which is very convenient. Atopalm products, including their shampoos, body washes, and emulsions, are all so gentle and wonderful.
ConsThere's really nothing to complain about, but since it's a foam formula, you need to pump it several times to get enough foam on your hair.

I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers again, so I gave this product a try! Previously, I was using Atopalm Fresh 2-in-1 Shampoo. Since I have a super sensitive scalp, I've tried almost every shampoo out there, but due to severe scalp blemishes and itching, I've been using baby shampoo as well! It's definitely reassuring to use a gentle baby product, and even as an adult, I've been able to use it without any irritation!
ConsHowever, this product seems even milder than my previous baby shampoo, so much so that the scent and overall effect might be a bit too gentle for an adult like me with long, thick hair. My baby also has long hair, and our previous product had a conditioning effect that made the hair soft, but this one leaves the hair feeling a bit stiff. It might be better suited for babies with fine hair!

But since I need to write a review, I decided to try it myself first, using it once a day for three days. I usually wash my hair every other day, but since this is for newborns, it tends to make hair greasier than regular shampoo for adults, so I washed daily. Apart from my hair getting oily faster, there was absolutely no itching or blemishes on my scalp. This made me confident that if it's this gentle for adults, it would be perfect for my niece. Being a foam type, it seems like it would be super easy to wash a baby's hair, and I loved that it doesn't sting if it gets in your eyes. Throughout my use, I kept thinking it would be great for babies. When I gave it to my niece, my sister was thrilled, saying she trusts Atopalm products. She mentioned it seems gentle and she'll use it well. The only thing I feel bad about is that I used it three times on my long adult hair, so I used quite a lot... oops!
ConsI don't usually use conditioner or treatment, but maybe because I'm an adult using it, I felt my hair became a bit stiff. But strangely, after applying the essence, why did my hair become so much smoother than usual...? If it wasn't just for babies, I really would have wanted to use it myself. The price seems a bit high. Since it's a foam type, it'll be used up quickly, and the regular price is shocking. If I were a mom, I'd have to use it sparingly because of the price... Deducting one point for the price.
TipHonestly, washing a newborn's hair isn't an easy task, but with this, you just need to squeeze out the shampoo and rub it on the hair until it foams... The foam type will definitely make bathing babies so much easier. This small idea seems like it could become an incredibly convenient product for moms.

Although I'm an adult, I have a sensitive scalp, and if I don't take proper care, I often end up with dandruff or scabs, and my scalp gets itchy frequently. First off, it comes out as foam, making it incredibly easy to use. You can evenly apply the foam to your scalp without any extra effort. While it might not give you that squeaky-clean feeling, I think this kind of shampoo is actually better for those with sensitive skin. Above all, I was reassured by the fact that it's marketed as safe for newborns, so I felt confident it wouldn't harm my skin!
ConsThe lack of fragrance in the shampoo is both a pro and a con. While it's good that there are no unnecessary fragrances, it might struggle to combat odors from the crown of your head! Also, as someone with thick hair, I worried that this pump-type shampoo might run out quickly. However, considering it's designed for newborns, I don't think this is a major drawback.
TipI focused on scalp care and only applied the foam directly to my scalp! This helps reduce the amount used, making it more economical. Rather than using it as a daily shampoo, I think it's best suited for times when your scalp is particularly sensitive and needs minimal irritation. It would also make a great gift for households with babies!

For adult use: 3 stars. Adult Use: A truly gentle shampoo. Almost no scent and the foam texture feels amazing on the skin. It didn't sting even when it got in my eyes. With my sensitive scalp that often gets itchy during seasonal changes, this shampoo didn't cause any dryness, itching, dead skin cells, or blemishes after use. Unlike other shampoos that strip away too much oil and moisture or irritate my scalp, this product didn't cause any burning sensation when used with other scalp care products. Children's Use: The foam texture makes it easy and quick to wash. The dense foam doesn't drip much, reducing the worry of it getting into eyes. It would be great for teaching kids to wash their hair independently. No itching or redness after use.
ConsAdult Use: While it was soothing for the scalp, it left my hair feeling stiff and my scalp became greasy quickly. It doesn't leave you feeling as refreshed and clean as regular shampoos. Uncertain if it effectively controls scalp odor. The foam isn't as rich, so adults might need to use more product. With the small quantity, it may run out quickly.
TipIt works better when applied directly to the hair rather than lathering in your hands first.

As someone with super sensitive skin, I avoid using typical supermarket shampoos and opt for natural children's shampoos or shampoo bars. This one was unscented, gentle, and caused no irritation. After use, there was no itching, making it seem ideal for babies. It also appears suitable for pregnant women who need to be cautious about cosmetics. Those of us who are sensitive to cosmetic ingredients should find this shampoo agreeable. The fact that it's from Atopalm, a brand popular among pregnant women and children, gave me extra peace of mind while using it.
ConsThe volume seems too small compared to regular shampoos, so I'm concerned it might run out quickly.

I was about to switch shampoos when I started using this product. For the first 3 days, I only noticed a slight improvement. However, after using it for over a week now, I can't say the scalp flaking has completely disappeared, but I find myself touching my scalp much less frequently, and the itching has significantly improved. This has genuinely enhanced my quality of life. The shampoo doesn't seem to have a distinct scent. As for the ingredients, being from the trusted Atopalm brand, it's remarkably clean - you won't find any of the 20 cautionary ingredients or common allergens. I once watched a YouTube video about 'Proper Shampooing Technique'. The most crucial part was not applying the shampoo directly to the scalp, but first lathering it well in your hands, then massaging it evenly into the scalp. The New Born Scalp Shampoo comes in a foam form, making it not only convenient but also easier to use correctly.
ConsWhile I didn't experience any new blemishes or worsening of my scalp condition, the foam format of the product means I end up using more pumps than expected. I'm a bit concerned it might run out quickly.
TipI recently picked up a great tip from my hairstylist at the salon. While brushing your hair can be beneficial for your scalp and hair, doing it incorrectly (like when your hair is wet or not completely dry) can actually damage your hair. It's crucial to develop the habit of thoroughly drying your hair before brushing. This simple step can make a big difference in maintaining healthy hair.
