  Pros

  The white powder is mixed with purple granules, and it seems to cause less tightness after cleansing compared to the original product. The powder granules are a bit on the larger side, but I liked that I could adjust the exfoliation intensity by controlling how much water I mixed in and how I rubbed it. Since it's an enzyme powder, it was great for dead skin cell removal, leaving my skin texture smooth and refined.

  Cons

  The dead skin cell care effect seemed better with the original product, and even though I've tried the tea tree version, the original still works best for me. Also, even when I closed the lid tightly, maybe due to bathroom humidity, sometimes the lid would get stuck or the powder would clump. It seems this is an unavoidable issue with products in this type of container.

  The blemish enzyme powder feels slightly grainy, but this one is smooth without any noticeable particles. When used for morning cleansing, it gives a sense of exfoliating dead skin cells before makeup application.

  Cons

  The only downside is that a bit of powder sticks to the opening, making it slightly messy. Other than that, there's nothing to complain about.

  I used to use Papa Recipe's yellow jar enzyme powder, but after finishing it, I decided to try this one. It seems to be just as effective. My skin feels soft and smooth.

  This is my first time using an enzyme powder cleanser, and I think it's great! It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.

  Cons

  I can't really think of any downsides... If I had to nitpick, I guess it's a bit of a hassle to use.

  Tip

  It's great to use in the shower. You can adjust the amount of water to use it as a scrub or just as a regular foam cleanser.

  There's not really anything to complain about, but just a tip: make sure to thoroughly mix the enzyme powder with lukewarm water and massage it well. This creates a good lather and allows for a non-irritating cleanse that removes dead skin cells effectively!

  🌷 Combination dehydrated + sensitive (blemishes, acne scars) skin 🌷 * Recently developed folliculitis First off, Papa Recipe's Blemish enzyme powder didn't work well for me. My dermatologist recommended exfoliation, so I was looking for a gentle product suitable for daily use (2-3 times a week). That's why I chose Papa Recipe's Eggplant Clearing enzyme powder! Usually, peeling gels and blemish enzyme powders cause folliculitis, whiteheads, or pustules on my super sensitive skin. However, this product didn't cause any issues, which was fantastic. 🎀 I love that you can control the exfoliation intensity by adjusting the water ratio. I use a 1:2 powder to water ratio, and it leaves my skin smooth without any irritation. 🎀 Unlike the Blemish enzyme powder, there are no concerning ingredients, which is great. I'm very particular about ingredients, and this product's formulation allows me to use it with peace of mind. 🎀 It's perfect for daily use, especially in hot summer weather. I use this enzyme powder as my first cleanse, followed by a low pH foam cleanser for my second cleanse when exfoliating.

  I haven't found any downsides yet, but if I do, I'll be sure to update my review.

  Tip

  My skin was recently irritated, but after using this product, it improved from the first photo to the second photo. I purchased mine from Coupang and have been using it since.
