The foam lathers up nicely, which is great. I have dry, dehydrated, and sensitive skin. I expected it to be drying like other cleansers, causing deep dryness, but surprisingly there's nothing to complain about. My skin feels refined and hydrated without any irritation. There's a noticeable bounce to my complexion. The positive effects seem to last, and my skin continues to feel improved over time. This is definitely a satisfying product for me. - sm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 22, 2025
The white powder is mixed with purple granules, and it seems to cause less tightness after cleansing compared to the original product. The powder granules are a bit on the larger side, but I liked that I could adjust the exfoliation intensity by controlling how much water I mixed in and how I rubbed it. Since it's an enzyme powder, it was great for dead skin cell removal, leaving my skin texture smooth and refined. The dead skin cell care effect seemed better with the original product, and even though I've tried the tea tree version, the original still works best for me. Also, even when I closed the lid tightly, maybe due to bathroom humidity, sometimes the lid would get stuck or the powder would clump. It seems this is an unavoidable issue with products in this type of container. - dm*****Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 21, 2025
For combination dehydrated skin types: The cleansing effectiveness is satisfactory, except for heavy eye makeup. It offers excellent dead skin cell removal, resulting in a flawless complexion the next day! So far, I haven't found any drawbacks in my experience using this product. - dh*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedJun 15, 2025
It's great for gently removing dead skin cells. After use, my skin feels moisturized and hydrated, which is wonderful! So far, I haven't experienced any major issues, so I'm satisfied and continue to use it. It works well as a mask too. - k0**********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 15, 2025
Compared to other products, this one felt more hydrating and seemed like a real moisture management solution. I'd recommend it for combination dehydrated skin. The formula was similar to other enzyme powder products, and its cleansing effectiveness was on par. I can't think of any particular downsides, but overusing it might lead to dryness and could potentially damage your skin. - sh*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 13, 2025
It's gentle and non-irritating, making it a pleasure to use. Highly recommended for those with sensitive skin. Being a powder formula, a lot of product tends to stick to the lid. This product works well for those with super sensitive skin. Its gentle nature means it's unlikely to cause any burning sensation or tingling. The powder format, while effective, does have the drawback of excess product accumulating on the container lid, which might require a bit more care during application. - wa*******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessJun 4, 2025
1. It's decent 2. Performs well as a cleanser But I like the rice one the best, so I recommend that 1. The scent is a bit bothersome 2. The color is also a bit off-putting 3. I love eating eggplant, but as a cleanser, it's not great I recommend the rice version Instead of buying the eggplant one, get the rice cleanser - bl********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 29, 2025
I knew Papa Recipe was famous for their enzyme products, but I had been using Tony Moly's cleanser. When I saw they had a version for dry skin, I decided to give it a try. I thought all cleansers would be pretty similar, but I was pleasantly surprised. This one lathers up much better, and after cleansing, there's no irritation or dryness. I plan to keep using it. There's nothing I dislike about it. As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm very satisfied. 1. Since it's formulated for dry skin, it's hydrating and gentle. If you prefer that squeaky-clean feeling, I'd recommend the regular version. 2. Using a cleansing net (like those from Daiso) is a must for getting a good lather and avoiding any potential irritation from the granules. 3. You can get it at a good price from Musinsa. - uj*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 26, 2025
If you have dry skin and want to try a powder cleanser, I highly recommend this one. To use, you take a small amount of the powder cleanser in your hand and work it into a lather with a bit of water. The foam it creates is more bubbly than creamy. As someone with super sensitive skin, I made sure to dissolve the powder thoroughly before using it. Even so, it gently exfoliated and removed dead skin cells without any irritation. This product is truly hydrating. Often after cleansing, my skin feels dry, but with this cleanser, my skin retained its moisture, which I absolutely loved. I frequently used it for my morning cleanse on days when I needed my makeup to look flawless, and it worked wonders. The results were amazing! You need to be careful with the water pressure. If it's too strong, the powder can scatter everywhere. Even if it spills, it's easier to clean up than liquid products, so it could be a great option to take with you when traveling. - ba*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 24, 2025
I loved that it gently exfoliates even for sensitive skin. Other exfoliating products or cleansers usually irritate my skin, but this one was great. Since I have combination dehydrated skin, I used the "Grape?" type instead of the original, and it works well for me. There wasn't anything particularly inconvenient about using it, but the price is a bit steep. It's best to use warm water when cleansing with this product, as it's literally an enzyme cleanser.
