If you dissolve the granules well before applying, you won't feel any irritation.
ConsNo downsides to mention. I highly recommend this as a gentle exfoliator for removing dead skin cells.

When used for morning cleansing, it gives a sense of exfoliating dead skin cells before makeup application.
ConsThe only downside is that a bit of powder sticks to the opening, making it slightly messy. Other than that, there's nothing to complain about.

After the first use, my dead skin cells were removed and my face became brighter and smoother~ The overall experience wasn't bad at all.
ConsUnfortunately, enzyme powders don't seem to work for me... My skin gradually worsened, so I gave it to my sister who was already using it well. Now it's the only thing she uses~
TipFor those who find it suitable, it seems like a great tip for removing dead skin cells~ Rather than using it daily, wouldn't it be better to use it once or twice a week?

It's a decent powder cleanser. As someone with oily, thick skin, I use it in the morning. It preps the skin well for makeup application.
ConsIt doesn't lather up very well. Doesn't feel like it provides a deep cleanse.
TipFor best results, start by applying a small amount to your damp face. Then, take some product on your dry fingertips and gently massage it into specific areas for a more intense exfoliation.

When applying sunscreen, I used the enzyme cleansing powder, which provided good cleansing power. Otherwise, I used the basic cleansing foam. The product lathers up well. There are some granules that help with the rolling sensation to remove impurities effectively.
ConsThere's not really any downside, except that as a powder product, you need to make sure to create enough lather.
TipSince it's an enzyme powder, you should apply it to your face, let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then rinse. This helps with cleansing and oil control. I would use it whenever I remembered, about 2 times a week, or when I had breakouts, and it seemed to help calm them down.

I had been using the original version of the Papa Recipe Enzyme Powder, so I'll compare the two products. 1. Cleansing power and skin texture improvement: Original = Same I didn't notice much difference in the crucial area of skin texture improvement. 2. Presence of purple granules As you can see in the photo, the Papa Recipe Enzyme Powder contains purple granules. I was worried these granules might be irritating like a scrub, but they dissolve as you lather it up, so you don't need to worry about irritation. 3. Moisturizing power: Original << Papa Recipe I noticed a difference in the moisturizing power. The Papa Recipe Enzyme Powder leaves my skin feeling more hydrated and less tight after washing. If I were to repurchase, I think I would go for the Papa Recipe Enzyme Powder. The differences aren't huge, but the Papa Recipe version has better moisturizing properties.
ConsNone~ I think a bit more promotion for how great the Papa Recipe Enzyme Powder is compared to the original version would be helpful.
TipYou'll need to work up a good lather. Unlike the original version, there are purple granules, so you'll need to make sure they're fully dissolved before applying it to your face.

In other words, the stimulation from rubbing the granules on the skin is less. I used to like an enzyme powder cleanser from another department store brand, but the granules in that one didn't dissolve well and I had to roll them around for a long time, which was a bit irritating to the skin. But this product, the granules dissolve quickly in water and turn into a lather, so it's less irritating! 2. It cleanses while providing moisture, so my skin doesn't feel dry or tight after washing. There are some products that make combination skin feel tight and overly squeaky-clean after washing, but this one cleanses well while not stripping away the moisture. 3. A gentle enzyme cleanser The fragrance, texture, moisturizing power, and cleansing ability are all just right, making it a good gentle enzyme cleanser to use.
ConsThere's really nothing I'm particularly unhappy with! I just wish there was some indication of the appropriate amount to use per application.

Compared to other powder cleansers I've used before, my face doesn't feel as quickly tightening after cleansing, and it feels moisturizing and soft to the touch. It dissolves quickly in water, so it's great for lathering up with your hands! The granules also dissolve well, so I don't feel any irritation, and I use it 4-5 times a week, my hands reach for it very often. As for the scent, I'm the type who doesn't pay much attention to it, so I didn't notice any particular smell and it felt unscented to me.
ConsIt may gently exfoliate, but I'm a major dead skin cell collector! Or if you're someone who wants strong exfoliating effects in one go, it's better to use a separate scrub product.
TipIf you just put a drop of water on it and apply it like a mask, then rinse it off after a little while, your skin will feel so smooth! But this might be irritating and inconvenient, so I usually just apply it to my face like regular face wash, wait 1-2 minutes, then roll and rinse it off, and I'm still satisfied with the results.

To start, I really, really want to recommend this product! The powder-type contents turn into a foam when you add water to it on your palm. It's made up of white powder and slightly larger purple granules. At first, I thought the foam wouldn't form much since it's a powder, but it actually creates a nice, rich lather! I was very satisfied. The scent is just like soap... not an overly strong, irritating fragrance. Even when rubbing the granules and powder that haven't fully dissolved onto my face, there's no irritation! Products with exfoliating effects usually cause some irritation, but this one hardly irritated at all. After washing my face with this, my skin texture looks and feels smoother and softer. The sebum around my nose has completely disappeared, and my pores look smaller too! My visible pores were such a huge source of stress, but they've improved remarkably. My makeup also applies better now. Ever since using this, not only has my skin texture improved, but the redness has also almost subsided. It's just... so good... Touching my skin feels amazing, the texture is incredible. It's just amazing... And the amount seems like it will last a long time, so I highly recommend it!
ConsThere's really not a single disappointing thing... I'm completely satisfied!
TipIt's best to use this 2-3 times a week. And make sure to quickly close the lid after scooping some out, so water doesn't get into the container... Since it's a powder, water getting in could clog it.

There are slightly larger granules mixed in with the powder! ▪︎Usage Experience This was my first time using a powder-type cleanser, and I was surprised that it had cleansing power like a regular cleanser! Even though I have oily skin and usually see flaky skin when applying makeup, the purple granules seemed to remove the flakiness, and I didn't experience any flakiness after using the product. The lather doesn't get very thick, but my skin felt thoroughly cleansed after use! There was no tightness or slipperiness, and no residue was left behind. ▪︎Fragrance It's fragrance-free! There was no scent at all during cleansing. Those sensitive to fragrance or who prefer unscented products will likely really enjoy this.
ConsPersonally, I prefer cleansers with a rich, creamy lather. Since this is a powder-type product that requires creating a lather with water, the lather doesn't get very thick, and as I tried to build up the lather by rubbing my hands together, the purple exfoliating granules started to fall off, which was a bit disappointing.
TipThis may be obvious, but if you want to try to preserve the purple granules, when creating the lather, try keeping one of your palms facing upwards as you rub your hands together - this seems to help the granules stay in place a bit better!
