The more moisturizing the formula (like those with a jojoba base), the harder it is to dispense from the container, while matte formulas come out more easily. I used it for a while and then mixed it with a concealer I bought separately.
ConsIf your base is too moisturizing, it can look patchy or clumpy. The coverage is not as good compared to other formulas, so sometimes I use a regular formula for light coverage and use this as both a finishing powder and for additional coverage.
TipFor those unsure about product colors! The first number indicates brightness (closer to 0 means lighter complexion), and the letter at the end represents the undertone (N: Neutral, W: Warm/Golden, C: Cool/Rosy).

Apply sunscreen first, then use this only on areas you want to cover. It's lightweight yet provides natural coverage, even for dark circles. The staying power is good too. I'm using the Rose Light color, which is perfect for those with a yellow undertone in shade 21.
ConsThe packaging looks a bit cheap, and to get the product out, you need to close the lid, flip it upside down, and tap the back repeatedly. This method of use makes the case get dirty easily.
TipAmong my reviews, this pairs perfectly with the Happy Bath sunscreen. The Happy Bath sunscreen gives a subtle glow, and when you apply this powder on top, it makes your skin look naturally flawless.

I've been using this for years, and I've just realized how good it is for sensitive skin too.
ConsWell... I can't think of many downsides. Perhaps it's a bit inconvenient to carry around.

As your natural oils come through, it looks beautifully natural! It's the ultimate for pore coverage. Don't underestimate this powder - its coverage is incredibly high! I have uneven skin, but I felt it worked wonders. It effortlessly covers acne scars, pores, and redness. Just use a concealer for very dark spots...
ConsBeing a foreign product... it's hard to find the right shade. The names are all so confusing! I have a yellowish undertone in shade 23 with some acne scars, so my complexion is a bit uneven. I wanted a yellow-based powder to cover redness, so I bought Golden Beige, but it makes my face look muddy... It covers redness perfectly, but there's no brightening effect. As a result, my overall makeup doesn't look pretty. Is there a shade in the Rosy line that's not too light or dark for shade 23? I'm considering Rosy Beige for now...
TipI tap some powder onto the lid and apply it with a brush. I use a kabuki brush, dab it in, tap off the excess, and apply. I always make sure to apply it very, very, very thinly!! I'm so careful that I wonder, 'Did I even apply any? Did I use too little on the brush?' If you apply multiple thin layers, it won't cake, and when your natural oils come through later, you'll have a beautiful glow. It looks best around 3 PM when others are touching up their makeup. I removed the inner lid forcefully since I don't touch up and only use it at home. The hole was too small and frustrating! Also, you know those small Baskin-Robbins spoons? I keep one in a small ziplock bag and use it to scoop out the powder onto the lid when I do my makeup. About half a spoonful is perfect for me.

Despite being a powder, it's not drying thanks to the minerals, and it has tiny pearls that make your skin feel soft to the touch while looking dewy! When I wear this, people tell me my skin looks clean and healthy!
ConsDon't expect any coverage from this. It only provides very slight tone correction. If you forget this and absentmindedly keep layering it on, you'll experience the miracle of still having no coverage but looking like a cakey mess! For dark circles or blemishes, you'll need to use a separate concealer or the powder concealer from the same brand. I just apply it thickly with a small brush for a bit more coverage.
Tip>I bought 0W, which is equivalent to shade 21 with a yellow base. 2W is about shade 23. If you have lighter skin, you might need to buy a lighter pink or neutral base to mix with it. >For brush application techniques, search for 'everydayminerals' or 'bareminerals' on YouTube. There are many helpful videos. I use a flat brush from the same company. >Be careful with water! When I rinsed with lukewarm water a few times, it all washed off. So now I just rinse a few times and then use a cleansing foam for a quick wash. >Although it contains titanium dioxide which might suggest sun protection, it's not specifically labeled as such. It's best to apply sunscreen separately.

I've tried both semi-matte and matte versions. My skin tone is around #22, a bit on the warmer side. Initially, I used Fairy Light, then Fairy Light Neutral. When my skin is more tanned, Fairy Light is better, but when my dermatitis flares up and I'm all red, Fairy Light Neutral suits me better. Now the names have changed, so it might be called Light 2N or something similar. You can find a comparison chart with the old color names on the EM site. Interestingly, the coverage of these bases varies depending on the brush you use. I use the Real Techniques foundation brush and EcoTools kabuki brush.
ConsIt takes forever to use up, haha! But since I'm scooping it out anyway, it doesn't really matter.
TipFirst, prepare your face by mixing sunscreen and a gentle BB cream in a 5:2 ratio. Then, tap some of this product onto the lid, swirl your brush in it, tap off the excess like you're ashing a cigarette, and apply it to your face using circular motions with a flick of the wrist. For the nose, use a stamping motion with the brush. This is because if you swirl powder on your nose, it makes your pores look huge... ugh. Two layers should give decent coverage. Your vanity will end up covered in EM powder! P.S. There's a 20% off sale on iHerb until July 27, 2016!

If you don't expect high coverage, it's really quite nice. You can apply a small amount with the brush it comes with, and it washes off easily with just water.
ConsI'm not sure if it's because I've been using this for over a year, but as someone with sensitive airways, I feel like it's negatively affecting me.
TipI apply this after lightly mixing it with a bit of Vaseline as a base.

After switching all my cosmetics to EM, nearly 90% of my blemishes disappeared. Even when I used to carefully select natural BB creams, powders, and sunscreens without harmful ingredients, my acne wouldn't budge. But after switching to EM, it's all gone. Before deciding to order from overseas, I was most worried about coverage, but using the EM flat top brush gives amazing coverage. Plus, my skin looks great. Currently, I'm using the Finishing Dust, Matte Base, Semi-Matte Base, and Concealer. All powder products. Seriously, I'll use EM forever. I love you, EM!
ConsSince they're powder products, I'm always a bit concerned about my lungs. Also, there are so many base color options that it was really difficult to choose the right shade.
TipAmong EM brushes, you don't need anything else - just get the flat top brush. It's a must-have. The others are just expensive and not that great. To increase longevity, apply Finishing Dust before and after makeup. Your makeup won't budge all day long. Oh, and when selecting a base color (I have average skin tone): I recommend buying Warm Tone 1 and Cool Tone 0, then mixing them to match your complexion. That works best in my experience.

I absolutely love using both of them! Comparing the two, the Semi-Matte is better in terms of longevity and coverage. The staying power is actually quite similar, but the coverage is slightly better. Color-wise, the Ivory is a 21 shade with a neutral tone - it's neither pink-based nor yellow-based, just a straightforward color. It should suit both warm and cool undertones well. The Golden Ivory has a warm undertone and is yellow-based. As I have a warm complexion, it looks natural on me and matches my skin tone well, so I use it often. Both are powder formulas, but surprisingly, they don't dry out the skin. You can even apply multiple layers without any issues.
ConsThe packaging is a bit disappointing. The product barely comes out. There are multiple holes, but I'm not sure why it's like this... My previous one used to dispense too much powder and spill everywhere, but this new one hardly comes out at all. Why can't there be a middle ground? I'm using it mainly for the ingredients, as the coverage isn't that great... It does help even out the complexion, though. It gives a natural, bare-faced look. Being a powder, it's a bit trickier to use compared to regular liquid foundations. If you accidentally spill some on your clothes...
TipThey say using a finishing powder with this product improves its longevity. The brush that comes with it is decent, but it also works well with other brands' foundation brushes - you know, the ones with a flat-cut bottom. (Is that called a kabuki brush?)

It's incredibly lightweight, which is perfect for those hot days when you can't be bothered with a full face of makeup but still need to go out. I just apply a thin layer evenly with a brush and I'm good to go. It's not about coverage, but rather about naturally evening out your skin tone. It's also my go-to for those surprise date nights when my boyfriend calls me out suddenly - I can be ready in 3 minutes flat. Of course, he thinks I'm bare-faced. Even if the change isn't dramatic, just having that radiant complexion makes a woman look beautiful.
ConsThe staying power leaves a lot to be desired. After a long day out, you'll come home to find it's pretty much all worn off. I don't usually touch up my makeup, so that's a bit of a downside. However, I still love this product because it fades naturally without breaking down, and doesn't cause any darkening of the skin.
TipHere's a little trick I use: I tap some of the powder into a small bowl, then use a soft brush to pick up the product evenly. I start applying from the center of my face, using circular motions with the brush, and gradually work my way outwards. It's a technique that works wonders for me.
