I don't think it'll cause any blemishes.
ConsI wash my hands thoroughly in the bathroom before applying it with my fingers, but the most disappointing thing is how inconvenient it is for touch-ups.

The best part? My skin never feels suffocated. It's like I'm not even wearing makeup. There are times when I'm so exhausted from work that I fall asleep without removing my makeup, but with this, I wake up without any blemishes. Being a powder, it might feel a bit dry at first, but once your natural oils come through, it actually makes your skin look better. While it can clump if applied incorrectly, it's much less prone to this than liquid foundations. Even if it does clump, it's easy to fix - just wipe with a toner-soaked cotton pad and reapply. Touch-ups are a breeze.
ConsThe trade-off for its lightweight feel is that it offers almost no coverage. Being a powder, it can't give you that dewy, 'glass skin' look. Sometimes I do miss that luminous, hydrated glow...
TipThe powder format makes it great for customizing. You can buy multiple shades and mix them to create the perfect match for your complexion.

This is the first thing I look for when buying makeup. Most makeup that makes you look pretty can ironically make me look worse if I use it for too long... My skin feels comfortable, and it doesn't seem to cause any blemishes. ✓ The fading is so-so Some BB creams fade in a weird way, causing wrinkles and making you look older, but thankfully this one just fades away...
Cons✓ Inconvenient to use Maybe it's because it's my first time using powder foundation, but at first, I spilled it, got powder all over my desk and clothes.... And you end up inhaling it. No matter how careful you are, you'll breathe it all in.. ✓ Coverage 1 out of 10 You can consider it as having no coverage. Even mixing it with concealer powder barely covers anything.. When I'm not wearing makeup, my skin looks a bit dewy, which makes it seem okay, but with this on, it becomes matte ㅜㅜㅜ.. There's no dewy glow at all. ✓ Often applied too thick It's surprisingly hard to control the amount. You're not sure if it's applied, so you keep adding more...The first day I used it, I walked around looking 3 shades duller than my usual skin tone ✓ Emphasizes dead skin cells It shows all the flaky skin that even BB cream doesn't reveal... It exposes all those little 'skins' that form when acne is healing.
Tip1. When using, lightly tap the powder brush in the product, swirl it around, and make sure to tap off the excess. Repeat the process of tapping, shaking off excess, and applying for a natural finish. 2. It's best to use either liquid or solid concealer to quickly cover blemishes and dark circles. This foundation is truly a bare-face foundation, so it doesn't cover dark spots. I don't recommend using it alone if you have acne scars like me. I can barely cover even a quarter of my scars, and sometimes even that's difficult. 3. Super hydrated skin doesn't work well with this foundation. Finish with just a hint of moisture before applying the foundation.. Otherwise, it just clumps up. 4. Because of its lack of coverage, I tried to use BB cream underneath, but I end up just using the BB cream alone...? lol ㅜㅜㅜㅜ

My skin tone is around #21 with yellow undertones. I was a bit worried it might be too light when I ordered, but upon application, it's perfect. It neutralizes my yellow tones while giving my complexion a radiant boost. What's even better is that as time passes, my skin develops a dewy glow that looks like that coveted 'glass skin' effect. I wholeheartedly recommend this product. Plus, the ingredients are so gentle that I haven't experienced any blemishes.
ConsThe only downside is that it's not ideal for touch-ups or on-the-go application due to its bulky size and the excess powder that can fly around. It's a bit inconvenient in that regard. I really wish they'd release this in a cushion format - that would be perfect!
TipPro tip: Tap a small amount of powder into the lid, then pick it up with your brush and tap off the excess before applying. I like to add an extra layer on my oily T-zone for better coverage.

Among mineral foundations, this one caused zero irritation (Laura Mercier's powder with bismuth oxychloride gifted my skin with tiny bumps). No side effects like acne or excess sebum. I was worried about zinc oxide, but it's not in this, so no itching after application - that's great. The coverage is pretty decent too. For a dark-skinned gal like me, 1w was perfect. People say it's hard to choose a shade... but I nailed it on the first try since I'm particularly yellow-toned. It doesn't float and lasts long... doesn't disappear by the time I get home. I bought a flat top brush too, but I'm using a large Real Techniques brush now - highly recommend Real Techniques! It makes my skin look smooth... It's like a makeup innovation(?), I really like it... It's just gentle, and while it can be a headache when powder falls during application, unlike foundation that never comes off clothes or bags, this washes right off with Bioderma or water... It's a game-changer that I can order directly from iHerb. Plus, it's affordable and will last forever. A product that doesn't even need primer!
ConsI have oily skin but with some deep dryness, so... There are times when it very slightly separates (but you can't tell from a distance... I just notice because I look at my face up close every day). I think this is more about my makeup technique or needing to do more sheet masks... The product itself is quite good and I'm 200% likely to repurchase. I hope iHerb keeps selling this product. It should be used with a brush... but the Everyday Minerals brush is not that great. I'd strongly recommend Real Techniques instead.. Real Techniques brushes are much softer and better to use.. Another downside? Sometimes the mineral powder doesn't come out and I have to shake it like crazy, but hitting it with the Real Techniques brush gets the powder out. In my case, I'm not satisfied with small amounts, so... Anyway, that's how it is~
TipMoisturize well before applying makeup~ If you tap the big Real Techniques brush handle firmly, the powder comes out well. Of course, do this while it's closed... Be careful as there might be some excess powder flying around. Don't buy the Everyday Minerals brush. It doesn't dry well and... um... it's scratchy.
