After years of searching for a BB cream without dimethicone and stearic acid, I finally discovered one from Sidmool. Though Sidmool is well-known, I had never tried their products before and was hesitant to buy based on just the Saccharo BF sample. I deliberated for months until I learned you could try the small sample included with the full-size product before opening the seal. This gave me peace of mind to place an order. <Coverage/Color> I feel like I've found my holy grail. After reading nearly every review online, I wasn't worried about the ingredients, but I'm pleased with the color and coverage too. (Very satisfied - personally, I only need to use a stick concealer on one spot). I chose shade 23 because I dislike overly pale makeup. Reviews varied widely on the shade, but I figured I could always mix with shade 21 if needed. (I consider my skin tone a 22). I'm happy with the result - my skin looks healthy. Mixing with sunscreen or adding powder can lighten it, so I probably won't need shade 21. <Application> Trying the sample first, my skin feels incredibly comfortable. Despite being silicone-free, it applies smoothly with no irritation or tingling. It's on the richer side, so you'll definitely feel like you're wearing makeup. This would be perfect for dry skin, while oily skin types may want to use a lighter base. I've tried various application methods, but find patting it on with an air puff gives the most even, smooth finish. +Update 8/1) It's much better to absorb the product into the air puff from the back of your hand, then pat onto skin. The short shelf life (6 months after opening) is definitely an issue for a BB cream. Since the ingredients are good, I plan to decant some for on-the-go use and use it generously. Even if I can't finish it all, it's not expensive, so I'll likely repurchase in 6 months. +Update 8/1) While fine for everyday, I wouldn't recommend this for important occasions like interviews or dates. It can look excessively shiny, especially on oily skin. I'll need to compare using powder on top vs. a silicone foundation for big events. +Update 8/13) When fully absorbed into the air puff before patting on, it applies much lighter, almost like shade 21. There's no darkening even hours later (without powder). Mixed with sunscreen, it would likely be a very light 21. Oddly, it's much lighter now than when I first used it. Skin does get a bit red when removing with cleansing water, despite the gentle ingredients. Still satisfied since it doesn't cause blemishes. +Update 9/4) After a while, it can look more greasy than glowy. Questionable for summer, but likely good for winter. +Update 10/6) Recommend smoothing on with fingers along skin texture. Absorbs well. Hand application seems best due to lack of silicone (when skin is in good condition). +Update 19.02.15) After using through summer, fall and winter, I think it's best as a winter BB cream. Nice 21-22 shade (yellow-based, not pink) that matches neck well. Using Isoi One Step Cleanser twice works well for my sensitive skin in winter. +Update 19.08.13) Purchased my second bottle. - If this shade is too dark, try mixing with sunscreen (should work well alone for most skin tones) - Due to the rich texture, blotting papers likely won't be effective. Carry toner (in a travel bottle), cotton pads, and Saccharo samples for touch-ups (expect to touch up more frequently than usual) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 2, 2017
My skin tone is on the darker side, but this matches me perfectly haha. I don't like wearing heavy makeup, so this looks very natural and like my own skin. I apply it with my hands, but when I use this alone, it spreads like eraser dust... And it wipes off easily too..haha Since it spreads like eraser dust, I mix it with sunscreen and apply it. That way, it doesn't spread unevenly and applies smoothly and moisturizes well. The sunscreen I use is the Sidmool Ultra Facial Moisturizing Sunscreen! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 24, 2016
I have extremely sensitive skin, so even very gentle products cause me to break out in pimples. I was too worried to even try applying BB creams or foundations, fearing they would cause more trouble. But I bought this product and was fortunate that my skin remained calm. I was overjoyed...this is truly a holy grail product for me. It must not be discontinued! The best thing is the excellent ingredients, and it's also moisturizing and covers blemishes quite well. The coverage is also decent!! And when I apply it, it gives a subtle glow, so I've been told my skin looks great. The photo is just of me applying it to the back of my hand. I have extremely dry skin and a lot of flakiness, and my T-zone is just an oil slick. 😅 My skin can be a bit troublesome, and those of us with very dry skin might find this product a bit drying. I made sure to have a solid skincare routine and dampened the puff with lukewarm water before applying to help minimize any dryness. Applying it with your hands is not recommended...I did that in a hurry a few times, and it felt a bit tacky and gave an overly shiny look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 13, 2016
I previously used Sidmool Eco BB, and this time I decided to try this one~ It's a bit more affordable and more moisturizing, so even though I have oily skin, my face gets dry and bumpy after wearing makeup for a long time..ㅠㅠ So I use a moisturizing cream and even use oil in the winter~~ But this is so good!!!!!! The ingredients are good, and the color suits me well!! I usually use 23, but drugstore ones are a bit too light, and the Double Wear foundation in Warm Vanilla is also a bit light~~ But when I mix this with the foundation, it's really great!! I can get the longevity!!!!! As for sunscreen, I've been using the purple Purito Recovery line because all the others I've tried caused breakouts, and this one is also moisturizing and works well for me except in the summer:) I mix a quarter of Double Wear with the sunscreen (BB:foundation+sunscreen=2:1) and it lasts well, the color is nice, and it's moisturizing, so I really like it! The downside is that it's a bit difficult to wear it alone, as it tends to rub off a bit...I liked the Double Wear, but it was too drying, so mixing it with this product is really Good!!! And the fact that it's not uncomfortable on the skin is the best part~^^ I've already covered all the good points above, so I don't have much else to say. Ah, and it's less yellow and less bright than the Eco BB, which is great! The 23 shade of Eco BB made my face look too ashy, so I had to switch to 21, but this one is just perfect!!:) - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 22, 2016
First, the ingredients are good. It doesn't sting when used, which is great. It allows for a natural-looking tone correction. It wasn't cakey, which was good for my dry skin. Other foundation brands emphasized my flaky skin, but this one didn't do that as much. It's not that there's no flaking at all. There is a bit, but I think that's because I didn't have a good skincare routine. I apply it with a damp sponge! They say a sponge isn't the best for dry skin, but it's still better than using my fingers. As I mentioned, using it with a damp sponge seems to work well! On really dry days, I mix it with a cream or lotion before applying. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 14, 2016
As someone who really struggled with poor skin, I couldn't use any BB creams or CC creams on the market, but I'm living with this now. I'm very conscious about my skin, and I don't get any breakouts when using this! They say the coverage may be a bit weak since it doesn't contain any chemical ingredients, but it's not perfect but I'm not disappointed!!! I haven't finished a whole bottle yet, so I haven't repurchased, but I'm very satisfied😀 A bit disappointing is that there seems to be a bit of darkening. I'm a 23 shade, but I think mixing it with a 21 would work well for me~ I use it mixed with a whitening cream. First I do my skincare, then apply the whitening cream, and then this on top. That way it's moisturizing, the coverage is good, and I often don't need to do any touch-ups~ - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 27, 2016
If you have a dark complexion with a yellowish undertone, I highly recommend this product. As a man, I wanted to use a sunscreen that is as invisible as possible, so I bought this black sunscreen along with the Sidmool black sunscreen. The black color makes the white cast typical of sunscreens quite visible (it's more noticeable on my skin tone). But when I apply this, the issue is immediately resolved. You don't need to apply a lot, and others can't even tell I'm wearing it. I wasn't really interested in BB creams before, but I tried this one for the first time to use it as a sunscreen. I strongly recommend this to fellow warm-toned individuals with a darker complexion, especially men. When applied only on the face, there is no noticeable difference in color between the face and neck. Most blemishes are also well covered. And perhaps because I applied the hyaluronic acid toner at the end, in the morning my skin felt bouncy and supple even in the evening. It's not dry or dull at all, it's as if I didn't apply anything. Anyway, if you want to correct your skin but don't want to show that you're wearing BB cream, I highly recommend this to men with a darker skin tone and women with a darker complexion. Hmm, since this is my first time using a BB cream, applying it all over my face with my hands was too much of a hassle. But I guess you can't avoid that unless you use a sponge or something. After applying everything, if you apply the hyaluronic acid toner all over your face, it will look even more natural. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 24, 2015
The product provides me with the right coverage, lasting luminosity, and natural-looking color. I have combination skin, but my T-zone gets very oily, and there are bumps around my nose, so I absolutely cannot use matte makeup. I don't have severe blemishes, but my skin tone is very dull. The ingredients are good, and it's affordable, but the skin expression is nice. Most importantly, I think this color would be like a ray of sunshine for those of you with a dull complexion in shade 23. Since this product is meant to enhance the natural skin texture, you need to pay attention to managing your skin condition. Also, having an overly solid base or applying sunscreen too thickly is not a good idea. And don't be too greedy, just apply it moderately. There is a slight emphasis on flakiness. At first, I didn't know how to use this properly, so I tried a lot of things like using an air puff, sponge, brush, mixing it with sunscreen, and using it alone. As a result, I found that applying a little moisturizer first, then a slightly matte sunscreen to create a smooth, powdery finish, and then gently pressing the Sacarobeef cream onto the skin with my hands, applying a little more to the areas that need more coverage, works best. And the real golden tip!!! Spray a mist, like the Innisfree Green Tea Mineral Mist, after makeup. That really brings out the glow and helps it stay in place!!! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 13, 2015
I thought the ingredients would be very gentle, so the coverage would be lacking, but it turned out to have decent coverage, which I liked. I'll repurchase it once I finish this one. Since I have a slightly oily skin type, it adheres well to the skin. As it's shade 23, it's not too bright, which I find to be natural-looking and nice. I'll buy it again once I finish this one!! There are occasionally some slightly patchy areas, but it's not the entire face that's patchy, just certain parts. As long as I touch up those specific areas, it's fine. Personally, I really like this product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJul 25, 2015
The application is quite smooth. It has a moisturizing formula^^ While the color is on the darker side, the coverage is not bad~ I have a cooler skin tone, and this product is quite dark for me ㅠㅠ Does it make me look like I have a healthy, bronzed complexion? I think it may tone down too much for those with cooler skin tones! And the caking is way too severe! ㅠㅠ You'll definitely need to exfoliate thoroughly ㅠㅠ The adhesion is also lacking! When I tried to do my eye makeup after applying this, it immediately transferred to my eyelids..ㅠ
