First off, I really appreciated the quality ingredients - that was the best part for me. Even though it has a darker tone, if you apply just the right amount, it actually looks quite natural. It's a bit on the rich side, so it might be too heavy for those with oily skin. Also, I was disappointed by the lack of coverage. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 6, 2022
For those with sensitive/dry skin, especially men, if you're looking for moderate coverage without causing blemishes, this is the product for you. After trying countless BB creams and foundations for men, I've finally found my holy grail. The formula is quite rich, making it challenging for oily skin types to use year-round. The adherence and longevity aren't great, requiring some skill to apply effectively. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 27, 2021
It adheres perfectly to match your complexion and blends naturally. It doesn't clump, and when it fades, it does so beautifully without settling into the creases around the nose or under the eyes. The downside is that it can sometimes look a bit shiny, and the coverage is on the lighter side. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 25, 2019
1. This gentle BB cream helped reduce my blemishes significantly. 2. It gives a nice dewy finish that makes my skin look healthy! 3. It blends naturally with my skin tone. 1. Without touch-ups or powder, the coverage weakens over time and can become slightly oily. 2. The coverage isn't extremely high, so it's recommended for those who prefer a natural makeup look. It's a slightly matte cushion foundation. For longer-lasting wear, gently pat it in during touch-ups throughout the day! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 3, 2018
I have super sensitive skin and usually break out when I go to places with bad water, but this doesn't cause blemishes. (I did break out initially, but after thorough cleansing, it stopped. I use makeup remover, then wipe with toner 4 times (twice wasn't enough and caused blemishes), followed by a foam cleanser.) I used to only use dermatologist-recommended BB cream, but switched to this because it's more affordable. The coverage is medium to low. 1. It's very yellow. While that's good for my reddish skin, it's still too yellow, so I might need to mix it with shade 21. 2. If I don't cleanse thoroughly, I get blemishes. 3. Due to the rich texture, my hair sticks to it, so I need to use powder (I have very oily skin). 4. It comes off easily around the nose area. Despite its many drawbacks, it's extremely difficult for me to find a product with such good ingredients that doesn't cause blemishes and is affordable, so... I'll keep using it. I'll update after using it more. Even with thorough cleansing, I'm getting blemishes... I'm going to stop using it. Even if my skin calms down in the morning, by the time I remove my makeup in the evening, several pustules have formed. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 28, 2018
After years of searching for a BB cream without dimethicone and stearic acid, I finally discovered one from Sidmool. Though Sidmool is well-known, I had never tried their products before and was hesitant to buy based on just the Saccharo BF sample. I deliberated for months until I learned you could try the small sample included with the full-size product before opening the seal. This gave me peace of mind to place an order. <Coverage/Color> I feel like I've found my holy grail. After reading nearly every review online, I wasn't worried about the ingredients, but I'm pleased with the color and coverage too. (Very satisfied - personally, I only need to use a stick concealer on one spot). I chose shade 23 because I dislike overly pale makeup. Reviews varied widely on the shade, but I figured I could always mix with shade 21 if needed. (I consider my skin tone a 22). I'm happy with the result - my skin looks healthy. Mixing with sunscreen or adding powder can lighten it, so I probably won't need shade 21. <Application> Trying the sample first, my skin feels incredibly comfortable. Despite being silicone-free, it applies smoothly with no irritation or tingling. It's on the richer side, so you'll definitely feel like you're wearing makeup. This would be perfect for dry skin, while oily skin types may want to use a lighter base. I've tried various application methods, but find patting it on with an air puff gives the most even, smooth finish. +Update 8/1) It's much better to absorb the product into the air puff from the back of your hand, then pat onto skin. The short shelf life (6 months after opening) is definitely an issue for a BB cream. Since the ingredients are good, I plan to decant some for on-the-go use and use it generously. Even if I can't finish it all, it's not expensive, so I'll likely repurchase in 6 months. +Update 8/1) While fine for everyday, I wouldn't recommend this for important occasions like interviews or dates. It can look excessively shiny, especially on oily skin. I'll need to compare using powder on top vs. a silicone foundation for big events. +Update 8/13) When fully absorbed into the air puff before patting on, it applies much lighter, almost like shade 21. There's no darkening even hours later (without powder). Mixed with sunscreen, it would likely be a very light 21. Oddly, it's much lighter now than when I first used it. Skin does get a bit red when removing with cleansing water, despite the gentle ingredients. Still satisfied since it doesn't cause blemishes. +Update 9/4) After a while, it can look more greasy than glowy. Questionable for summer, but likely good for winter. +Update 10/6) Recommend smoothing on with fingers along skin texture. Absorbs well. Hand application seems best due to lack of silicone (when skin is in good condition). +Update 19.02.15) After using through summer, fall and winter, I think it's best as a winter BB cream. Nice 21-22 shade (yellow-based, not pink) that matches neck well. Using Isoi One Step Cleanser twice works well for my sensitive skin in winter. +Update 19.08.13) Purchased my second bottle. - If this shade is too dark, try mixing with sunscreen (should work well alone for most skin tones) - Due to the rich texture, blotting papers likely won't be effective. Carry toner (in a travel bottle), cotton pads, and Saccharo samples for touch-ups (expect to touch up more frequently than usual) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJul 17, 2018
It's gentle. I used it when I had some eczema on my face, and I liked that it didn't cause more flare-ups or spread. While I was disappointed with the lack of coverage, I appreciated being able to use it when my skin wasn't in the best condition. It's quite rich in oils. The coverage is almost non-existent. It's just enough to say 'I've applied something'... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 24, 2018
It felt natural and the ingredients were gentle, making my skin feel comfortable For those with very oily skin, the staying power might be a bit lower - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 24, 2017
Even when I look in the mirror later, I feel so embarrassed, but the Sacar BF foundation still looks good on my skin under the harsh fluorescent lights of the restroom at the supermarket in the evening. It doesn't so much 'wear off' on my skin as it just naturally fades away. It wears so beautifully that it doesn't settle into the creases around my nose or under my eyes, which is the best I've experienced. (Though it does break down a bit when I sweat a lot on hot days.) The fact that it doesn't create a noticeable difference in tone between my face and neck is also great! With other foundations, I have to diligently contour or color-correct my neck and chest area, but who has time for that in the morning? This product helps maintain an even, seamless look without all the extra effort. Thanks to its performance, I've repurchased this foundation multiple times now. * Additionally, during my pregnancy when I was just too lazy to do anything, I would sometimes go 2-3 days without washing my face, but this foundation never caused any breakouts. That was a lifesaver! Not recommended for those who prioritize high coverage. Also not recommended for those who prefer a matte, oil-free finish. Those sensitive to fermented ingredients should also be cautious when using this (can cause breakouts). Not recommended for those who want built-in sun protection. Not a good choice for summer, as it can get quite oily. (It has a 6-month shelf life after opening, so it's best used from around October through the spring season.) You'll need to apply a thorough layer of sunscreen beforehand. If you have a brighter complexion, you can use the white-casting function of mineral sunscreens as a tone-up effect. That's why I love the white-casting in winter when my face gets paler. The #23 shade works great for me! The tube packaging doesn't have the convenience of being able to check and pat on the product anywhere like a cushion. You'll need to purchase a separate cushion case or puff case. I just bought a puff case and periodically replace the puff. For those with acne-prone skin, I'd recommend using the tube directly rather than the cushion applicator, as cushions can be more susceptible to bacteria buildup. Since it's a cream formula, using a brush can leave brush strokes. Layering small amounts is best for any product. The application method really affects the final result, even with the same product! They say hands provide the best adherence, but since my hands are the dirtiest, I prefer using a puff. The puff itself makes a difference too, so finding a good, adherent one that suits you is important. (Does anyone know if Lohascell sells their cushion puffs separately? Their puffs are the best!) - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJun 19, 2017
I purchased it because the ingredients are gentle. The application is smooth. A small amount, about the size of a soybean, spreads evenly. After application, the skin appears dull. It gets shiny. It seems to be easily removed when sweating. Check out the Thursday coupon day on the Hwahae Trial Reviewer app.
