The ingredients are gentle, making it suitable for use by people of all ages and genders. It is well-known for its baby care products. The large quantity lasts a long time, and the jar-type packaging allows you to scoop out and use as much as you need. When used alone, the occlusive ingredients can leave a film-like feeling, and it may not be fully removed with just water cleansing. However, when mixed with a small amount of cream, the powerful moisturizing properties make it great for dry skin.
ConsThe solid, balm-like texture makes it difficult to spread. In colder seasons, it becomes even harder and more challenging to apply. The body temperature does not soften it enough for easy application. The large quantity lasts a long time, but since it is a preservative-free product, there are concerns about spoilage. The jar-type packaging increases air exposure, so it would be better if it was available in various sizes. It seems to be hit-or-miss, as even though they are all Now Foods shea butter, some jars have clumped-up granules that further reduce the spreadability.

It's great that you can apply it to your hands, lips, elbows, and heels. What I particularly liked was the large volume and affordable price - the best value for money.
ConsAs others have mentioned, the spreadability is really not good. It doesn't blend in well either, so when you apply it on your face, it rolls around like a scrub, making sensitive skin even more sensitive. Furthermore, I tend to get a lot of milia on my forehead, and after using this for 3 days, I had a terrible breakout of milia on my forehead. For those with oily or combination skin, it's probably better to just apply it to the cheekbones and apples of the cheeks.
TipIt's best to scoop out a small amount and warm it up in the palm of your hand by rubbing your hands together. Then, gently press it into your skin with your warm hands so it can be absorbed.

It's also ineffective, I might need to use steroids..... It's gentle and has good moisturizing and lasting power..
ConsSince I've used Loxxi before, the application is;;;;; 1. It doesn't melt into the hands, and even after using a hair dryer to melt it, there are still unmelted granules, which really hurt the child;;;; I tried it myself and it feels like a scrub;;; 2. It's greasy.....the child who hasn't washed their hair becomes slippery and might slip on the floor..... 3. It's really annoying..if it doesn't fit perfectly and doesn't have a dramatic effect, I'll think about not repurchasing.....
TipSlightly closing the lid, heat it in the microwave for 30 seconds, and scoop out the slightly melted part to use... This is good, but I'm not sure if it's okay to heat it in the microwave;;if the good ingredients are gone, then maybe I don't need to look for the USDA label???I should just buy the pure one... I'll normally switch to a more moisturizing one for the child, and if it gets really dry, I'll just consider buying the Biclotene bar (it only gets dry at the folding parts)

ConsThe spreadability is not the best at first. If you think of regular creams, you may find this product quite inconvenient to use.
TipI first melt the shea butter in a double boiler and mix it with jojoba oil to improve the spreadability. I now apply it to the skin of my 100-day-old baby and my 6-year-old child. I also mix a small amount into my regular creams. No matter how expensive and good the other cosmetics are, their moisturizing power cannot match this product. My 6-year-old child is now free from the itchiness caused by dryness, and I have also used this product to treat the diaper rash of my 100-day-old baby. This is an essential item for the dry season.

For my extremely dry skin, there is still no product that can remove dryness and make my skin soft without any irritation, even in the middle of winter.
ConsThe application is terrible. The simple ingredients are good, but I have to mix it with jojoba oil to apply it... The application is so poor that I have to spend time and effort to apply it and keep patting it.
TipAs I mentioned earlier, it's good to mix in a small amount of jojoba oil or simple plant-based oils.

First of all, the ingredients are gentle, and the quantity and price are an excellent value. During my first pregnancy, I used a famous department store brand stretch mark cream, but this is just as good in comparison.
ConsIt's literally like butter, so at first, the white granules don't melt right away, and the spreadability is not as good as other creams. But if you mix in a few drops of Hohoba oil and gently warm it with your body heat, it absorbs really well.
TipUsing it with Hohoba oil also helps with moisturizing and reduces the sticky feeling, and it melts in better.

ConsIt's troublesome to melt it with my hands and it doesn't spread evenly.
TipWhen the weather gets warmer, not just in winter, it's easier to apply. Leaving it in the bathroom and applying after showering, when it's a bit melted, was more convenient.

ConsThe application is a bit sticky, so I mix it with lotion before applying it.

I use it not only on my feet and elbows, but also sometimes on my face after exfoliating, around my chin and nose area - it seems to have a soothing effect as well, so I really rely on it.
ConsSince it's in a solid form, it doesn't spread on easily. It would be nicer if it applied a bit more smoothly, that's the only downside.
