I really liked that the cool minty sensation wasn't too harsh on my scalp when it made contact. It doesn't lather well, so I end up using a lot of product. Also, I didn't really notice any improvement in my hair texture. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 11, 2021
It agreed well with my scalp without causing any irritation. It seems to be beneficial for the scalp. It makes my hair very stiff. Using a conditioner is absolutely necessary! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 1, 2020
The scent is pleasantly subtle, and it seems to be gentle on the scalp. I'm not sure if it's because I've been using it for a while, but my scalp has been itchy lately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 11, 2019
I appreciated the gentle nature of this product due to its abundance of natural ingredients, which made it non-irritating. It was particularly effective in removing excess oil from my greasy scalp. The lack of lather was disappointing, especially for those with thick, oily hair. You need to pump out quite a bit of product to get a thorough cleanse, which is a drawback. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 3, 2019
It seems to reduce scalp itchiness a bit, and appears to be less irritating When washing my hair, it feels a bit stiff, so I feel like I need to rinse more thoroughly - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 6, 2019
I love the transparent formula - it feels great on the skin. The subtle fragrance is also non-irritating, which is a plus. As someone who's dealt with seborrheic dermatitis for years, I'm disappointed given this product's reputation in the international market. I've tried many organic and sensitive skin products, and this one falls short in terms of lather and cleansing effectiveness. It doesn't produce much foam and has weak cleansing power. Moreover, I didn't notice any improvement in my scalp condition. If you don't have specific scalp issues, it might be suitable as a gentle option. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 10, 2018
Recently, I've been dealing with stress-induced blemishes and dead skin cells around my hairline, so I switched to this shampoo. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied! First off, it's gentle yet leaves my scalp feeling refreshed and clean. I'm quite pleased with how well it cleanses. After using it, I've noticed a significant reduction in flakes and acne. My scalp has improved a lot too. I was worried about some ingredients, but it doesn't irritate my scalp at all. Compared to my previous shampoo, this one controls oil and odor much better, and doesn't leave my hair greasy. Before, my hair would start to feel oily by afternoon after washing in the morning, but with this shampoo, it stays oil-free until evening. Some people say it doesn't lather well, but I didn't experience that at all. It produces enough foam to scrub thoroughly. Verdict: Highly recommended for those with oily skin struggling with greasy hair, odor, and scalp blemishes. It seems that those who found it unsuitable in the reviews mostly don't have oily skin. There's not much to dislike. It does make hair a bit stiff, but not to the point of damage. I dislike greasiness and avoid using treatments or conditioners due to scalp issues. I only apply a small amount of essence to damp hair after washing, and it feels soft and nice. One reviewer mentioned it smells like window cleaner fluid. Now that I'm conscious of it, it does smell slightly similar. I didn't find the scent odd, but sensitive individuals might dislike it. It's almost unscented, but has a slight menthol and tangy herbal scent. It's not a fragrant smell. For those with oily skin, if you want to care for your scalp, make sure to wash twice a day, morning and night. This seems to be a more effective method than just changing shampoos. Thoroughly wet your hair to soften it, then lather up a coin-sized amount in your hands. Apply it mainly to your scalp, paying extra attention to areas prone to acne. Massaging while washing feels incredibly refreshing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 6, 2016
I use it because it doesn't contain any bad ingredients. After using it, I also feel refreshed. Since it doesn't have silicone or harmful substances, I believe it will be more helpful for hair loss. There wasn't really anything bad. If I had to find something, it would be the inconvenience of the packaging? It would have been better if it had a pump instead of a hole, as it tends to pour out a lot. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 28, 2016
It definitely seems like I'm losing less hair, and as a natural product, there's no irritation. The lather also works well. Among the shampoos I've tried, the Avalon shampoo was the most satisfactory. After completely rinsing out the shampoo, there is still some stiffness, so I have to use a conditioner as well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinNov 9, 2015
I've been gradually switching to products without harmful ingredients while taking care of my health. This was the first one I changed. Generally, natural shampoos either have an unpleasant scent or don't lather well, so I've been hesitant about them until now. But this product lathers richly with just a small amount, and the refreshing tea tree scent seems to cool my scalp. Like other natural products, my hair feels very stiff after washing. So it seems like a bit more hair falls out compared to when I use regular shampoo. When rinsing out the shampoo, I don't vigorously scrub my hair. I just gently massage it to remove the lather, and quickly apply the conditioner, so my hair seems to fall out a bit less.
