The refreshing feeling is nice. As someone with seborrheic dermatitis, I noticed a reduction in scalp blemishes after use. It's a tricky shampoo to use. You need to thoroughly wet your hair before shampooing and work up a lather, otherwise it doesn't foam well and you miss out on that invigorating sensation. Make sure to wet your hair thoroughly before using the shampoo. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 3, 2019
It seems to reduce scalp itchiness a bit, and appears to be less irritating When washing my hair, it feels a bit stiff, so I feel like I need to rinse more thoroughly - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 27, 2018
It reduces oiliness and significantly decreases scalp itchiness. At first, it produces less lather compared to other shampoos. You get used to it over time though. It leaves your hair feeling a bit stiff and dry. For those who feel unsatisfied due to the lack of lather, try this: Use a tiny amount for your first wash, focusing on the scalp area. Then, when you shampoo a second time, you'll get a rich, foamy lather. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 10, 2018
Recently, I've been dealing with stress-induced blemishes and dead skin cells around my hairline, so I switched to this shampoo. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied! First off, it's gentle yet leaves my scalp feeling refreshed and clean. I'm quite pleased with how well it cleanses. After using it, I've noticed a significant reduction in flakes and acne. My scalp has improved a lot too. I was worried about some ingredients, but it doesn't irritate my scalp at all. Compared to my previous shampoo, this one controls oil and odor much better, and doesn't leave my hair greasy. Before, my hair would start to feel oily by afternoon after washing in the morning, but with this shampoo, it stays oil-free until evening. Some people say it doesn't lather well, but I didn't experience that at all. It produces enough foam to scrub thoroughly. Verdict: Highly recommended for those with oily skin struggling with greasy hair, odor, and scalp blemishes. It seems that those who found it unsuitable in the reviews mostly don't have oily skin. There's not much to dislike. It does make hair a bit stiff, but not to the point of damage. I dislike greasiness and avoid using treatments or conditioners due to scalp issues. I only apply a small amount of essence to damp hair after washing, and it feels soft and nice. One reviewer mentioned it smells like window cleaner fluid. Now that I'm conscious of it, it does smell slightly similar. I didn't find the scent odd, but sensitive individuals might dislike it. It's almost unscented, but has a slight menthol and tangy herbal scent. It's not a fragrant smell. For those with oily skin, if you want to care for your scalp, make sure to wash twice a day, morning and night. This seems to be a more effective method than just changing shampoos. Thoroughly wet your hair to soften it, then lather up a coin-sized amount in your hands. Apply it mainly to your scalp, paying extra attention to areas prone to acne. Massaging while washing feels incredibly refreshing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 13, 2018
I love the minty, tea tree scent! It's less irritating when washing my hair, gentle on the scalp, and reduces hair fall. It's great for seborrheic dermatitis. There's not much to dislike, but it might be hard to find in stores. However, a bottle lasts a long time, so you can use it generously without worry. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 22, 2017
I have continued using this product as I wanted to use a natural shampoo. The lather is minimal, and it is easy to use without any burden. It is also said to help with hair loss, which is even better~ The point that the lather is minimal~ That can be both an advantage and a disadvantage. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 15, 2016
After shampooing, I felt refreshed and experienced a significant reduction in hair loss! Compared to other shampoos, this one doesn't lather as well, so I had to use a larger amount when I first started using it. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinOct 13, 2016
I used to mainly use domestic shampoos, but my scalp would often get itchy and I would get things like acne. After using this shampoo, I saw some effects in calming my scalp. It was difficult to use a fixed amount, as it doesn't have a pump. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 2, 2016
My scalp used to be dull, but after using it, the itchiness has decreased. I didn't repurchase it because people around me said the smell was strange. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 14, 2016
At some point, my scalp became oily and my scalp troubles worsened But I happened to come across Avalon tea tree shampoo, and it's been a total lifesaver ㅠㅠ No more troubles or itchy scalp I highly recommend it for those with oily scalps! When I first used it, the stiffness and dryness weren't very pleasant But after using it for a while, I got used to it and it's fine now Compared to other shampoos, my hair feels a bit stiff after washing, so I recommend applying a hair essence to the ends
