There's no way! The scent and refreshing feel were underwhelming. It was awful... I'm only writing this because I have to fill 20 characters for the positives. Since my husband started using this shampoo, he's been showing signs of hair loss... There's definitely an issue here... Sigh.... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 29, 2017
The only good thing about this product is its affordable price. After using this, my scalp went crazy. It kept itching and I got a ton of pimples. I thought it might be due to my condition, so I tried using other products, but the issues came back when I used this shampoo again. It seems this shampoo was the cause of my troubles. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 14, 2017
I really like the refreshing feeling I get when I use shampoo.. The scent is also refreshing.. When I use this, my hair becomes stiff and I get pimples and something keeps coming out on my scalp.. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 2, 2016
I bought the brand with confidence.. Since it's organic, I felt at ease. The fragrance was too strong.. It was extremely stiff, so I didn't reach for it even though it's organic. I also had some skin troubles.. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 30, 2016
I received it as a gift and used it, but it seems the shampoo doesn't quite suit me. Normally, my hair would be fine even for two days after washing, but this one seems to make my hair itchy the day after I wash it. I was a bit careless, and one day my hair started getting really itchy, and I wondered why, but then I realized it was probably because of the shampoo. When I use a different shampoo, it's not like that. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 22, 2015
This is a great option for my oily scalp that needs daily conditioning. Even when I only use it every other day, it works well. As someone who colors their hair frequently, my hair is quite damaged, but using this with a conditioner prevents further damage and helps maintain my hair's condition. This works well for me, but my sister who has a seborrheic scalp ended up having more allergic reactions and redness, so she couldn't use it. I suspect it's due to the allergy-inducing ingredients. My hair feels stiff if I only use the shampoo. I really need to use a conditioner or treatment along with it. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinDec 10, 2015
The tea tree scent was much more refreshing and pleasant compared to existing domestic products. While individual differences may exist... It seems like Avalon products did not suit my scalp... For reference, I have an oily and very sensitive scalp. The first 3 days or so after using it were fine, but after that, my scalp became too itchy and flaky dandruff started appearing even more. This was the first time I experienced such an itchy scalp that it prevented me from sleeping well.ㅠㅠ I bought it just based on the good reviews, but... It seems like it's best to use the product that suits you the most, no matter what!^__^ It's best to use the product that suits you the most, no matter what the product is!! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJul 23, 2015
Every time I wash my hair, a handful of my hair used to fall out, but after using this product, it's like a lie - my hair doesn't fall out anymore. Moreover, since my hair is slightly wavy, after drying it, the volume is no joke, but surprisingly, it becomes calmer. It's organic, so just shampooing makes my hair feel stiff, but it's possible to compensate with a conditioner, and considering the other advantages mentioned earlier, it's definitely worth putting up with. I thought since it's organic, it would be fine if it got on my face and body when rinsing off the lather, but I ended up with bumpy hives and small pimples on my face. My arms, legs, and back became red and swollen, like mosquito bites. It seems the allergen ingredients didn't agree with me. ㅜㅜ I should avoid washing my hair during the shower and instead wash my hair separately later, or at least try to minimize contact with my face and body when rinsing it out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 5, 2015
I'm not sure. I used it because of my scalp, but acne got worse.. I have small pimples on my hairline ㅠㅠ I thought it was because I didn't rinse the foam well, so I cleansed thoroughly, but the acne keeps coming... - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 4, 2015
Although it doesn't produce a lot of lather, I've used other natural shampoos like Aveda, so the results were about what I expected. I had breakouts all over my scalp, it was like a sea urchin. The first month was fine, so I wanted to buy Avalon conditioner and other biotin products before the Lotte sale ended, but after using this shampoo for about two months, deep pimples gradually covered my entire scalp. (I didn't use any other scalp products) So I've had my family apply Tea Tree oil from The Body Shop on cotton swabs, similar to how I treated my facial breakouts, and it subsided quite a bit after about a week. It's ironic that the breakout caused by the Tea Tree shampoo was then healed by Tea Tree oil. I don't know if it was a healing crisis or what, but I'm too scared to use it again. Even if something is natural and organic, some of those natural ingredients can still disagree with a sensitive scalp. Don't order multiple bottles to save on shipping, just buy one bottle and try it first before purchasing more. This product seems to have a lot of individual variation.
