The refreshing feeling is nice. As someone with seborrheic dermatitis, I noticed a reduction in scalp blemishes after use. It's a tricky shampoo to use. You need to thoroughly wet your hair before shampooing and work up a lather, otherwise it doesn't foam well and you miss out on that invigorating sensation. Make sure to wet your hair thoroughly before using the shampoo. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinFeb 18, 2019
It clears up scalp blemishes. I love how it gets rid of pimples, dandruff, and itchiness. After washing, my hair becomes too stiff. Recently, the formula seems to have changed, making the user experience even worse. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 10, 2018
Recently, I've been dealing with stress-induced blemishes and dead skin cells around my hairline, so I switched to this shampoo. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied! First off, it's gentle yet leaves my scalp feeling refreshed and clean. I'm quite pleased with how well it cleanses. After using it, I've noticed a significant reduction in flakes and acne. My scalp has improved a lot too. I was worried about some ingredients, but it doesn't irritate my scalp at all. Compared to my previous shampoo, this one controls oil and odor much better, and doesn't leave my hair greasy. Before, my hair would start to feel oily by afternoon after washing in the morning, but with this shampoo, it stays oil-free until evening. Some people say it doesn't lather well, but I didn't experience that at all. It produces enough foam to scrub thoroughly. Verdict: Highly recommended for those with oily skin struggling with greasy hair, odor, and scalp blemishes. It seems that those who found it unsuitable in the reviews mostly don't have oily skin. There's not much to dislike. It does make hair a bit stiff, but not to the point of damage. I dislike greasiness and avoid using treatments or conditioners due to scalp issues. I only apply a small amount of essence to damp hair after washing, and it feels soft and nice. One reviewer mentioned it smells like window cleaner fluid. Now that I'm conscious of it, it does smell slightly similar. I didn't find the scent odd, but sensitive individuals might dislike it. It's almost unscented, but has a slight menthol and tangy herbal scent. It's not a fragrant smell. For those with oily skin, if you want to care for your scalp, make sure to wash twice a day, morning and night. This seems to be a more effective method than just changing shampoos. Thoroughly wet your hair to soften it, then lather up a coin-sized amount in your hands. Apply it mainly to your scalp, paying extra attention to areas prone to acne. Massaging while washing feels incredibly refreshing. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinOct 13, 2016
I used to mainly use domestic shampoos, but my scalp would often get itchy and I would get things like acne. After using this shampoo, I saw some effects in calming my scalp. It was difficult to use a fixed amount, as it doesn't have a pump. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 19, 2016
I have a combination scalp. The oil removal is excellent, so I alternate using this shampoo with a biotin shampoo. It lathers well and rinses off easily. I hardly get any painful pimples anymore. I feel like my scalp has become more sensitive since using this shampoo. The fragrance doesn't seem to be that great. It's best to be cautious with this shampoo for a combination scalp. To get a good lather, make sure to thoroughly wet your hair (for about 30 seconds) before applying the shampoo. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 10, 2016
My skin is sensitive yet oily, and I've noticed that my scalp issues have significantly improved after using this product. It doesn't seem to produce much lather, and my hair feels a bit stiff. Using a scalp brush along with this product can be beneficial. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 29, 2015
I strongly recommend this to those with seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp. I have been using it for about 10 years. I have seen a lot of effects on scalp inflammation. On days when your scalp condition is worse, using this will give you a cooling sensation and more relief. Since I've been using it for too long, I feel like I'm not seeing the same level of effects as before. Over the past 10 years, it has helped me go from the absolute worst to a moderate level, but it doesn't seem to improve much beyond that. I'm not sure if it's because seborrheic dermatitis itself is an incurable condition. For those with severe seborrheic dermatitis, I also recommend purchasing tea tree oil. After shampooing, mix the oil with water in a 1:2 ratio in a bowl, and then massage it directly onto the scalp (not the hair) using a kneading motion. This will significantly enhance the effects!
