I really liked that the cool minty sensation wasn't too harsh on my scalp when it made contact. It doesn't lather well, so I end up using a lot of product. Also, I didn't really notice any improvement in my hair texture. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 11, 2021
It agreed well with my scalp without causing any irritation. It seems to be beneficial for the scalp. It makes my hair very stiff. Using a conditioner is absolutely necessary! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 9, 2020
Snagged this on iHerb for about $6 per bottle. Honestly, I fell for the high ratings and claims it's great for seborrheic dermatitis. On the plus side: 1. It's got some serious cleansing power. 2. There's a nice cooling effect that feels refreshing. 3. It's stingy with the suds - you'll find yourself pumping away just to work up a lather. 4. While it cleans well, something's off because my scalp became a snowglobe of flakes. Dark shirts and sweaters? Forget about it - dead skin cells everywhere. 5. Left my hair feeling like straw. If you use this, a good conditioner is non-negotiable. My already color-treated hair went from broom-like to glass noodle texture (and I mean the stiff kind). - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 21, 2020
The cleansing effectiveness is pretty good, and I like the scent too! I'm satisfied with the ingredients at this level. It doesn't lather up well, which is inconvenient and makes me use more product than I'd like. Also, after shampooing, my hair feels extremely stiff and dry. A treatment is absolutely necessary... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 6, 2020
I trust and use this product because it's organic. There's no artificial fragrance either. It makes my hair extremely dry. Applying a generous amount of treatment is absolutely necessary. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 13, 2019
I've been using this for years. Occasionally, when I try a different shampoo, I realize how well this one suits me. My scalp is oily, but with this shampoo, it doesn't get too greasy even by evening. It's great! The blemishes that used to appear on my scalp have also disappeared. It doesn't lather very richly, so I end up using quite a bit. I'll try lathering it in my hands first, as others have suggested. Also, using just the shampoo leaves my hair feeling stiff, so it's absolutely essential to use a treatment or conditioner afterwards. A friend of mine developed an allergic reaction to this shampoo, so it's a good idea to test it first to see if it suits you. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinFeb 18, 2019
It clears up scalp blemishes. I love how it gets rid of pimples, dandruff, and itchiness. After washing, my hair becomes too stiff. Recently, the formula seems to have changed, making the user experience even worse. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 27, 2018
It reduces oiliness and significantly decreases scalp itchiness. At first, it produces less lather compared to other shampoos. You get used to it over time though. It leaves your hair feeling a bit stiff and dry. For those who feel unsatisfied due to the lack of lather, try this: Use a tiny amount for your first wash, focusing on the scalp area. Then, when you shampoo a second time, you'll get a rich, foamy lather. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 15, 2018
I'm someone who frequently gets scalp bumps, and even the slightest mismatch with shampoo can cause large, hard bumps or pus-filled ones. With this shampoo, I haven't experienced any of those issues, so I'm using it happily. At first, I was frustrated because it didn't lather well, but as I continued using it, I developed a technique, and now it foams up nicely. When I rinse it out, there's no lingering scent at all. Absolutely none. I personally dislike shampoos with lasting fragrances, so I consider this a plus, but those who enjoy lingering shampoo scents might not appreciate this aspect. It leaves my hair feeling stiff. Seriously. Trying to comb my hair after washing without using conditioner or hair essence is absolute torture. I only consider the scalp when choosing shampoo, so I use this for washing and apply a separate hair essence. Using a conditioner or hair essence is a must. When your scalp is sufficiently damp after wetting your hair, dispense some shampoo into your hands, rub them together to create a bit of lather, then apply it to your scalp. Gently massage it in, moving around different areas, and you'll notice the foam increasing. Since this is a scalp-focused shampoo, I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking to create lather mainly for your hair strands rather than your scalp. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 27, 2017
The scalp feels clean, light, and refreshing. The hair has become too stiff and a lot of hair is falling out.
