* This is my tentative opinion. I'm on the hunt for a more hydrating sunscreen since my face gets super dry even in summer. 1. No white cast! 2. Keeps skin moisturized all day. However, this is exclusively for dry skin types. 3. It remains slightly sticky even after waiting for it to absorb, making it suitable as a makeup base. 1. It has a significant oily feel and leaves a shiny finish that runs down the face. Those with oily skin should absolutely avoid this. 2. Due to its stickiness, it's challenging to use alone. Recommended for those who apply it under foundation. 3. Washes off easily with water. Even when showering, it feels like it completely disappears after rinsing a few times with just water. When it comes to sunscreen, investing in a pricier product that you love and can use daily is actually the shortcut to saving money! - sh*************Dry SkinSensitive SkinJun 24, 2017
I've tried many moisturizing sunscreens that left my skin dry and itchy, so I tried this one without much hope. But wow, it was like discovering a whole new world! The IPPO sunscreen is incredibly hydrating without feeling heavy at all. It's amazing how this sunscreen feels even better than my regular skincare products! I use it almost daily and haven't experienced any blemishes. The price is a bit disappointing. While it's relatively affordable for an aesthetic product, it's still a bit pricey for daily use. - wl********Combination SkinAcne SkinJun 10, 2017
It brightens the skin with a natural glow, not a floating white cast. The application is smooth, and it feels slightly heavier than a thin emulsion. Even though I have oily skin, it doesn't make me look overly shiny, which is great. I don't have any particular complaints yet, perhaps because I haven't been using it for very long. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJun 7, 2017
As someone with combination skin, I love that this product doesn't leave a white cast or feel slippery. When I apply makeup over it, it gives such a natural glow that I don't even need a separate highlighter. The ingredients are also very gentle on the skin. The price is a bit disappointing. It's rarely on sale too, which is a shame. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJun 1, 2017
It absorbs well and has great absorption. I feel reassured knowing it's free from chemical ingredients. The price is on the higher side, so expectations are naturally high. At first, there's no white cast, but as you use it, you might notice a slight pilling effect. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 25, 2017
I initially received a sample and then bought the full-size product. I used to be an Anessa fanatic, but Anessa has a more powdery finish - it's like you're barely wearing anything. This product is the complete opposite! It has a moisturizing texture like a hydrating cream, and it might feel a bit heavy, but that was perfect for my very dry skin. I felt I needed to keep my skincare routine light, so I just applied a slightly sticky essence and then this product directly. There was no pilling, and it gave a slight white cast, which I actually liked! It was more expensive than I expected, even pricier than Anessa. I think it might pill if you apply it over a full skincare routine including creams. It's a bit thick? It feels even more so because I'm used to Anessa's watery texture. It would be great to use this as the final step in a light skincare routine, doubling as a moisturizer! Finish by gently patting it into your skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 17, 2017Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I'm writing this review after using it for exactly a week. I'm a sunscreen enthusiast who won't step outside without it, and I usually go for brands like Paula's Choice, Dr. Jart+, and Belif after checking their ingredients. So, I was thrilled to be chosen to test this sunscreen! Let me quickly list the pros: 1. No eye irritation 2. Applies matte but feels quite hydrating once absorbed 3. High SPF despite having skin-friendly ingredients 4. The slight white cast gives a subtle brightening effect (though I'm naturally fair-skinned, so it might be more noticeable on others) I dislike dryness, so I usually finish my skincare routine with Physiogel mixed with rosehip oil before makeup. This sunscreen doesn't apply as thinly as I'm used to, so when I tried my usual routine - skincare, sunscreen, then makeup - everything pilled and separated. I had to remove it all and start over. However, when I simplified my routine by skipping the oil and reducing the amount of cream, applying this sunscreen at the moisturizer step worked much better - it absorbed well and lasted longer. It's a bit disappointing that I have to adjust my routine for this sunscreen. Also, I checked the price on the Hwahae app, and it seems a bit expensive for what it offers. Keep your skincare routine simple and apply this like a moisturizer! Since it's on the thicker side, try patting it in with a puff instead of your hands for better absorption. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinApr 17, 2017Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I love how the lightweight texture spreads smoothly when applied with hands. Even when used on arms or legs, it absorbs nicely without feeling too sticky. I apply it after my skincare routine and before makeup, and with just a light application, it doesn't cause my foundation to pill. Although it's a white cream, there's no white cast, so it's convenient as I don't need to do any additional complexion correction. I've been using it for about a week and haven't experienced any blemishes. I've heard you should apply sunscreen in an amount equal to a 500 won coin, and while I don't use quite that much, I do try to apply generously. However, with this product, a generous application leads to white clumping... So I end up applying just a little, which makes me feel like I'm not getting enough sun protection. Also, if you apply too much, it can look oily, especially in the T-zone and around the nose, making it appear like excess oil is flowing. This happens even though I have dry skin with severe atopic dermatitis... It's best to apply it in small amounts, making sure it doesn't clump or get caught in areas like the sides of the nose, around the jawline, or where there are baby hairs! - ll****Combination SkinSensitive SkinApr 17, 2017Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It has a brightening effect, so you can start your makeup routine with a slightly brighter complexion. It contains glacier water, which is great for sensitive skin, and allantoin for soothing effects. I have sensitive combination skin, and I didn't find the absorption particularly good. Even after applying moisturizer, it felt quite drying. The brightening effect tended to settle into pores, which was a bit alarming. It also emphasized dead skin cells in dry areas. To be fair, my skin has been in terrible condition lately, struggling to absorb any product. Still, among mineral sunscreens, this one is on the gentler side! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 17, 2017Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I closely observed how much it affects that base, and compared to when I didn't use it, I definitely felt like my makeup started to separate a bit faster! However, it didn't happen too quickly - it was about four hours after applying makeup when I noticed it, which is fairly reasonable Overall, it applies smoothly without causing makeup to pill, and it's generally decent! However, the downside is that after some time, my face kept feeling itchy. It didn't cause my skin to react badly, but after applying it and washing my face in the evening, my skin was itchy and slightly reddened. Those with sensitive skin might need to be a bit careful with this one Even though it's soft, moisturizing, and doesn't leave a white cast, don't apply it liberally like you would a cream, or your makeup will melt off quickly. Apply a moderate amount and gently pat it in with care
