It absorbs well, which should be great for those with dry skin. The scent isn't overpowering either. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found it a bit heavy and uncomfortable. Recommended for those with very dry skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 28, 2018
[A review from The Hwahae Testers!] My skin type is typically oily with blemishes and redness - a classic troubled complexion. Given how oily my face is, I'm always cautious when choosing and using moisturizers or hydrating creams. At first glance, I thought the Redeu cream might be too rich and heavy for oily skin, but after trying it, I was pleasantly surprised by how light it felt and how well it absorbed. Let me break down the features of the Redeu cream for you! 🌟Product Texture, Scent, and Characteristics🌟 [Texture] - The Redeu cream appears very firm and white. It's so solid that even when scooped out with the included spatula and placed on your hand, it maintains its shape. However, when you spread it on your skin, it melts smoothly, likely due to your body heat. [Scent] - The Redeu cream is fragrance-free. There's no distinct smell other than the natural scent of the cream itself. These days, unscented products like this are really appreciated, even from an ingredients standpoint! [Characteristics] - A while after applying it to your face, you get the sensation of a perfect protective barrier forming. It seems to lock in the essence and hydration applied beforehand. It's ideal as a night cream! ※ I used it twice daily, once in the morning and once at night, for two weeks. In the evening, I applied it as the final step in my skincare routine after cleansing. ※ 🌟 What I Loved 🌟 Many people with oily skin, myself included, tend to avoid moisturizers and skip them in their skincare routine due to excess oil. So I was a bit hesitant to use the Redeu cream at first. I kept my routine simple - after cleansing, I only used toner, essence, and finished with the Redeu cream. The rich texture meant the cream alone was sufficient. After application, I didn't feel any burdensome oiliness. As mentioned earlier, it felt like it created a protective layer on my skin, seemingly preserving the nutrition and hydration from the previous steps. It lasted so long that I could still feel it the next morning, and my skin felt softer when cleansing. My makeup applied better too! What I appreciated most was its soothing effect. When I come home after being out in the cold wind, remove my makeup and cleanse, my face often gets flushed. Applying this cream and waiting a bit reduced the burning sensation and slightly calmed the redness. It doesn't leave an excessively oily feeling, and it makes my skin feel soft - a truly satisfying product for oily skin types. The downside is that because it's a moisturizer that forms a barrier, it doesn't give you that deeply hydrated feeling of sinking into your skin. Instead, it feels more like it's coating your face, which some might find a bit stifling. Before applying base makeup, if you control the amount well, your foundation will adhere nicely without pilling. However, if you apply just a bit too much, it can cause clumping. On days when my skin was particularly stressed, I applied it a bit more thickly as a substitute for a sleeping pack. The next day, my skin felt noticeably firmer, which I really loved! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 22, 2018
As someone with dry skin, I was looking for a moisturizer that would keep my skin hydrated for a long time. I was thrilled to find that this cream had the rich texture I wanted, and even when I woke up in the morning, my face wasn't dry at all! Due to its rich consistency, those without dry skin might find it a bit heavy to use. Also, given the season, it might feel a bit too thick during the summer months. I tend to have very dry lips, but I've found that if you quickly swipe some of this cream on your lips while applying it to your face, it works about as well as a decent lip balm.
