It absorbs well and seems to be quickly absorbed by the skin. I liked how it leaves a slight coating feeling without much residue. While not heavy, it's not overly light either, making it great as a finishing moisturizer. Although it didn't actually pill, when I touched my skin, it felt like it might be pilling. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 15, 2018
1. Smoothness After application, the finish is smooth without being sticky, which is great. It feels like it forms a protective layer on the skin. 2. Moisture retention As this layer forms, it definitely helps retain moisture for longer. 1. Application It's not that the application is bad, but it feels like applying cake frosting. It forms a slippery layer as you apply it, which some might see as a benefit, but I personally found it quite unpleasant. 2. Pilling It pills. Those with oily skin should definitely think twice before using it in the morning. In this hot weather, sweat can form on top of the cream, causing makeup to slide off, leading to a worst-case scenario. 3. Absorption Because it applies in a slippery manner, it's hard to tell if it's properly absorbed or not. While it's good that it's not sticky despite the slick feeling, it certainly doesn't leave a powdery finish. Those with oily skin should definitely do a patch test before using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 11, 2018
The Reduera brand is new to me, but after checking the ingredient list on Hwahae, I was interested in trying it since there are no concerning ingredients. The product description mentions the TWAS™Complex, a triple moisturizing system that helps strengthen the skin barrier and promotes natural moisturizing factors (NMF) for improved skin hydration. And it really does feel like it's increasing my skin's own moisture-retaining ability! Normally, moisturizers can leave the skin feeling hydrated on the surface but dry inside, but I didn't experience that with this product. That was really impressive!! Upon closer inspection of the ingredients, I noticed panthenol, which is commonly used in cica creams and helps with skin regeneration. Allantoin is also present, which aids in strengthening the skin barrier and soothing. And my beloved low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid is included, an excellent humectant. There are no fragrance or other irritating ingredients, so it seems like a great option for sensitive skin. It gives the impression that this product was formulated with the needs of sensitive skin in mind. For my skin type, this cream may be a bit heavy for summer use. However, those with dry skin can use it year-round without issue. The rich texture means it takes a bit longer to fully absorb. If you dislike a sticky feel, this creamy formula may not be your preference. It can also feel a bit heavy when applying makeup on top in the morning. (I'd recommend skipping foundation over this cream.) I'd recommend this as a night cream. Using it in the evening rather than the morning seems to yield much better results. It may be too rich for oily skin types, so I'd suggest this more for those with dry skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 20, 2017
The absorption and hydration are top-notch! In winter, my nose tip, wrists, and ankles used to crack, turn red, and hurt terribly, but since using this, they haven't cracked at all! Those with dry skin know how painful cracking can be. I originally only applied it to my face, but when my ankles started to hurt a bit, I applied it before bed. From then on, they didn't crack even without applying. A small amount covers a large area! When applied before makeup, it feels like the foundation slightly pills. I have dry skin, so it's not like it's pilling badly or separating, but the feeling when applying foundation is a bit off. Not recommended for morning use! If you apply it generously before bed, you'll wake up with a glow on your face! Not an oily shine, but a real Inner Glow! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 20, 2017
☆The Hwahae Testers Review☆ It has a soft texture like white cream. It feels as if you're applying whipped cream to your face...? You can spread it widely with just a small amount, so it lasts a long time. It's fragrance-free, which should be great for those sensitive to scents. While it provides good hydration, it feels light and not sticky. It has just the right amount of richness, not too much. The ingredients are good, and it comes with a spatula for convenient use. There's a tendency for it to pill sometimes when applying sunscreen or makeup over it. While it's moisturizing, it might feel a bit dry in winter, so it's probably best used in spring, summer, and fall. Not being in a tube format slightly reduces its convenience and raises some hygiene concerns..? Also, if you don't control the amount well, the cream may not absorb properly and cause pilling. If the cream pills on your skin due to poor amount control, don't pat it in. Instead, gently roll it over your skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 20, 2017
Review from The Hwahae Testers: I used this product morning and night for 10 days. My U-zone is dry, while my T-zone is slightly oily, making my skin type close to combination dehydrated skin! I loved that it came with a cap-lock spatula. When I first received and opened it, the texture looked thick, and I was worried it might feel heavy. However, when I applied it, it spread thinly and evenly. Unlike other creams I've used before, the hydration doesn't just sit on top but absorbs completely into the skin, which I really liked. A thin layer of oil forms on the surface, creating a nice balance. It makes my skin feel soft! For those with dry skin, this might be uncomfortable to use in winter. The moisturizing effect doesn't last long, so if you apply more, it can become greasy and may pill slightly. If you have dry skin and want to use this, you might need to add more hydration before applying this cream. If you apply a bit more generously at night compared to the morning, the hydration lasts longer and feels more moisturizing! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 17, 2017
My skin suddenly became super sensitive, so I switched all my skincare products, including cleansers. I was lucky enough to be selected as a Hwahae Tester and tried this product. I have combination dehydrated skin that's becoming dry, probably due to the season. I was hesitant to try it at first because even my usual products were causing skin reactions. However, after applying this, I didn't experience any blemishes or allergic reactions like bumpy skin. For the first three days after receiving it, I used only this product after toning. It's fragrance-free and applies smoothly. I'd say it's more of a moisturizer than a hydrating cream. It absorbs well and feels like it creates a protective layer on the skin. I'm prone to deep dryness, so I'm not sure if that's why, but it felt more like it was protecting my skin rather than hydrating it. The best part was that my skin felt comfortable after application, not heavy at all! The spatula is spoon-shaped, which makes it easy to scoop out the cream and it's cute too! I felt dry using this product alone, so after the third day, I tried layering it with toner > peptide ampoule or Pimong x Wine Gel > cream. However, when I apply this cream after the peptide ampoule, it pills. I think you need to find products that work well together. I deducted one star because of this issue. Because it pilled after the ampoule, I tried applying the Wine Gel before the cream. The Wine Gel is very hydrating, and this cream has a bit of richness (some people say it's very rich, but I didn't find it too much). This combination worked amazingly well. Before bed, I used toner, Wine Gel, this cream, and finished with rosehip oil. The next morning, my skin felt so soft! It's perfect for fall and winter - a must-have item. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 12, 2017
First off, the ingredients are great, which builds trust. Usually, there's one or two questionable ingredients, but this product doesn't include a single one. As someone with sensitive skin, I always have to consider ingredients carefully, and this aspect really pleases me. The texture is better than an ointment - it absorbs well. Initially, it feels a bit slippery like oil, but after application, it leaves a thin coating that feels fresh. Overall, it seems like a pretty good product. The thin coating feeling left me, with my very dry skin, wanting more. When I tried to layer it on thicker, it started pilling. Disappointing! According to the product description and blog, if you forget your cleanser while traveling, you can apply this moisturizer to your made-up face and roll it off like a cleanser. I haven't tried this myself. However, I did try mixing in a couple drops of oil and using it as a sleeping mask before bed, which worked quite well.
