It absorbs well and feels lightweight. Above all, it's incredibly hydrating and gentle, which really helped my problematic dry skin. I've been using it for over a year now. The price is also quite reasonable. There's hardly any downside, but it does run out quickly. The initial application might feel a bit rich, but that sensation quickly transforms into a light hydration... So really, there are no drawbacks. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 1, 2019
I used the version before it was renewed, and it was pretty decent. Rather than feeling any specific effects, it's really good as a reliable, go-to moisturizer! It feels a bit greasy... Slightly disappointed that it doesn't absorb completely. Just my personal opinion! It's great for applying on the body! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 9, 2018
I tried a sample I received. My skin is extremely dry, so I often test moisturizer samples. The texture is rich, and it absorbs well. The initial impression was good, but... I'm not sure what didn't agree with my skin. For this product test, I only applied toner, serum, and this cream. As I mentioned before, it felt nice as it absorbed initially. However, when I gently patted it in, my cheeks and the area under my nose became flushed. I also felt a slight tingling sensation. It seems to have more oil than hydration. You could call it an oil cream rather than a moisturizer. I'm writing this right after application. I'll try sleeping with just this on and see how it feels in the morning. I'll update my review later. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 2, 2018
It didn't cause any blemishes. It also didn't feel heavy or suffocating on my skin. Compared to the Extreme Cream, this one seems to have more oil content, resulting in a slightly greasy appearance on the skin's surface. When applied before a mineral sunscreen, it helps reduce dryness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 6, 2018
I've tried many moisturizers, but the Redeu Hydrating Cream really makes my skin feel comfortable! It wraps around my skin so nicely, and it seems to balance the oil and moisture perfectly! Sometimes it can feel a bit rich if you apply too much, but that shouldn't be an issue if you adjust the amount to suit your skin type! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 3, 2018
I saw quick results for my deep dryness. It has a rich texture like whipped cream or butter, with a perfect balance of hydration and oil. What I loved most was how it didn't just sit on top of my skin, but kept it moisturized deep down. I used it with the toner from the same line, and I highly recommend this cream for those with super dry skin. Personally, I wasn't sure about it at first, but after a while, I felt my skin becoming hydrated from within, as if it created a fine protective layer on the surface? It really helped combat dryness. The blemishes caused by my dehydrated skin quickly calmed down, and my skin improved dramatically! While I'm extremely satisfied, it doesn't give an immediate sensation of intense hydration or feel super rich in oils. Rather, it provides a balanced moisture and oil content that hydrates from within, effectively addressing deep dryness. Be careful not to apply too much at once as it can clump and feel heavy. Use an appropriate amount, and for best results, apply it after thoroughly hydrating your skin. I recommend using it together with the toner from the same line, and remember to use just the right amount! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 28, 2018
Here's a review from The Hwahae Testers. Sorry for the delay! *Please make sure to check out the pro tip at the end! 1. Great ingredients Even though I have sensitive skin, I've never had any adverse reactions using this. 2. Recommended for dry skin It's a rich cream with a thick texture and high oil content. It's particularly suitable for those with dry skin, especially during these arid times. 3. Spatula included As you can see in the photo, they thoughtfully included a spatula. When you scoop cream with your fingers, it's inevitable that some dust gets in, no matter how careful you are. The spatula keeps things hygienic, so I could use it with peace of mind. 4. Fragrance-free I'm sensitive to scents and tend to reject products with even slightly off-putting fragrances, so I appreciated that this is unscented. +) I used it as suggested in the pro tip, and it significantly reduced the rich feeling while applying more lightly. It's great! I had severely dry skin with oil deficiency, but now my face stays moisturized all day without feeling tight! Nice! ++) My skin has become super soft. For reference, I don't do the 7-skin method, just one layer of toner, and I'm still not dry. Love it! 1. High oil content That's why I especially don't recommend it for those with oily skin. Even if you have dry skin, you should use it with a hydrating base. For the first week, I wanted to test the cream's effects on its own, but the balance tipped towards oiliness, and I almost broke out. While it's not severe, it feels heavy rather than moisturizing. This is due to the thick texture and high oil content... If you mix it with your usual toner, it balances the oil and moisture, thins out the thick texture a bit, and improves absorption! It feels much more hydrating. I mixed it with a dime-sized amount of Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Toner and one drop of my usual toner, but you can experiment to find what works for you. While I found it good when mixed with toner, it wasn't exactly a game-changer for me, hence the four-star rating. However, for those who find it suits them well, it could be an excellent cream. - Hwahae UserOily SkinFeb 27, 2018
I'm writing this as a lucky winner from The Hwahae Testers! First off, my skin type is transitioning from oily to normal (it doesn't get greasy unless it's hot or after meals). Pros: 1. Hydration It's incredibly moisturizing - you can feel the hydration as soon as you apply it. Your skin gets a beautiful glow. The hydration isn't just temporary either. With just this cream over your essence, you shouldn't have any moisture issues. 2. Absorption This cream isn't a thin, super watery gel texture. It feels like it has some oil content. Personally, I'm not a fan of sticky or slippery products. However, this one absorbs well - just pat it in gently and that slick feeling disappears quickly. It applies smoothly and absorbs well, making for a pleasant user experience. 3. Excellent ingredients I actually have pretty resilient skin, so one bad cream application won't cause a breakout. Still, I'm careful and check ingredients when choosing products. The Reduce Hydrating Cream seems to have really great ingredients. They didn't add unnecessary fragrances or colorants, so it should be good for long-term use. 4. Fragrance-free Some people are sensitive to scents. Since we use creams frequently, fragrance can be quite important. In this regard, this cream is essentially unscented unless you deliberately sniff it (and even then, you might just be smelling the container). While those wanting a fancy fragrance might be disappointed, I'd recommend this for sensitive individuals! 5. Product packaging I appreciated that they included a spatula. Though I've lost mine... using it would definitely help keep things more hygienic! The texture has an oily feel that might be too much for those with oily skin. As mentioned earlier, while it absorbs well and has good ingredients that shouldn't cause blemishes, it might still be a bit heavy for oily skin types. A lighter texture would probably be better for controlling shine and feel more comfortable on oily skin! It lacks additional benefits (like brightening or firming). The product focuses solely on hydration, so if you're looking for other functional benefits, you'll need to use it alongside other products. It's a great product. Although I have oily-leaning skin and it's about to get warmer... I might give it to my mom, but I'd recommend this moisturizer for those with dry skin or anyone preparing for the dry autumn and winter months! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 27, 2018
First off, I'm thrilled to have been chosen as one of The Hwahae Testers to write this review! I never thought this day would come for me. Let's dive right in! To give you some context, I have oily, acne-prone skin with severe redness. I constantly battle blemishes on my chin and cheeks. When I first held the Redeu Hydrating Cream, it felt substantial - partly due to the glass container, but the generous amount of product was impressive too. The cream has a rich texture, but the moment you apply it to your face, it melts like butter in a hot pan, spreading smoothly and effortlessly. Gently massaging it in feels absolutely divine! After application, your skin starts to radiate a dewy glow, giving you that coveted luminous complexion. As someone with oily skin, I was worried this cream might trigger breakouts, as rich formulas often do. However, I've been using it for over two weeks, and apart from a couple of tiny blemishes, my skin has been problem-free! That said, as we approach the warmer, oilier months, I might need to reduce the amount I use or switch to a more matte formula. What I love most about the Redeu Hydrating Cream, besides its excellent hydration, is how it gives my skin a perfect glow and improves my overall complexion! It might be just my perception, but I'm loving the results. I think this cream would be great for combination dehydrated skin or even oily skin types during fall, winter, and early spring. Just apply a small amount of your usual toner and emulsion, finish with this cream, and you're good to go! As someone with oily skin, I have to point out that it can make your face look a bit shiny. A couple of hours after morning application, it might appear as if you've applied a layer of oil to your skin. Also, while the glass container is luxurious, it's quite heavy, especially given the generous amount of product. I'm always extra careful not to drop it in the bathroom or on hard floors. Since I have oily skin, I've found a routine that works well for me. I use the Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Toner for hydration, and on days when it's not too cold, I follow up with just a small amount of this cream - about the size of two pinky nails. I spread it over my face and gently pat it in to finish. It works wonders! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 26, 2018
At first, I thought 'Oh no, they gave me a free product, but I'll feel bad giving it a low rating.' As someone with extremely dry skin, I was worried this would be too rich. A few weeks ago, I broke out after using an oily cream, so I've been avoiding heavy products. I tried this once and saw some small bumps forming, so I stopped for about 3 days. But then I remembered I'm a Hwahae Tester, so I should give it a thorough try to note any pros and cons. I started using it again, and after one night of deep sleep (about 14 hours!), my skin looked so clear! The redness had subsided and my blemishes improved! Confused, I decided to keep using it for a few more days, and it really seemed to balance my skin's oil and moisture levels. Initially, I thought this would only suit those with very dry skin lacking oil, but... • Texture: It's like a mix of butter (the kind you get with bread at Outback) and cream. It's thick, but spreads well with just a small amount. • Hydration: Even though I used less than with other creams, my skin didn't feel dry! The oil content is quite noticeable, so it doesn't feel particularly hydrating. • Soothing: It's great... really great. It reduces redness and helps with blemishes. Interestingly, it seems to bring oil plugs to the surface, making them easy to extract (if you're into that sort of thing). • Scent: Almost none! If you smell very closely, there's a slight sweetness. • Amount: I usually apply creams generously, but with this one, I use much less. So the amount feels more substantial! • Application/Absorption: I typically use a lot of aloe gel, which can cause richer creams to pill. But surprisingly, this one applies well with just a bit of patting. It absorbs well too, though that might be because I apply it thinly. There are different types of richness in creams, right? There's the richness from shea butter like in Physiogel, the sticky richness from excessive nutrients, and the oily thickness from oil ingredients. Unfortunately, this falls into the third category, which I dislike the most. It's absolutely not suitable to use before makeup - you'll turn into an oil field! It doesn't pill, but it's just so oily. The photo was taken after using it for just over a week. I was worried because I couldn't see much improvement when looking at individual issues, but when I look at everything together, I can definitely see the reduction in redness, texture, and blemishes. Even my hyperpigmentation has decreased a lot! I feel like if I keep using this, it will only get better.
