It's free from harmful ingredients and fragrance-free. I've been avoiding anything that feels even slightly off since I have contact dermatitis. I used a sample for about 5 days, but unfortunately, the results weren't great. The rich texture does provide a noticeable moisturizing effect. I used this with the toner from the same line. At first, it seemed fine, but on the last day, my dermatitis flared up again. My face felt itchy, like insects crawling on it. I mainly applied it to my dry cheeks and lightly on the T-zone, but it still didn't suit me. Since I'm fine when using the toner with other products, I think the cream is the issue. Even though the ingredients are good, it was probably too heavy for my skin. I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily-leaning skin. The hydration didn't last very long either. I felt a slight dryness returning after a few hours. It might work better if you use a serum before applying this cream. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 9, 2018
I tried a sample I received. My skin is extremely dry, so I often test moisturizer samples. The texture is rich, and it absorbs well. The initial impression was good, but... I'm not sure what didn't agree with my skin. For this product test, I only applied toner, serum, and this cream. As I mentioned before, it felt nice as it absorbed initially. However, when I gently patted it in, my cheeks and the area under my nose became flushed. I also felt a slight tingling sensation. It seems to have more oil than hydration. You could call it an oil cream rather than a moisturizer. I'm writing this right after application. I'll try sleeping with just this on and see how it feels in the morning. I'll update my review later. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 12, 2018
I've been using this since winter, and I have sensitive, dry skin. Even with just one application, it moisturizes well and balances oil and hydration perfectly. The ingredients are excellent, which is the main reason! It might be a bit rich for summer use, but it's great for spring, fall, and winter. There's a hygiene issue because of the container! It might be even more inconvenient in summer. Actually, when I used this along with essences and ampoules, it became too much and I started getting blemishes. I think it would be better to use a light product + this one. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 3, 2018
I saw quick results for my deep dryness. It has a rich texture like whipped cream or butter, with a perfect balance of hydration and oil. What I loved most was how it didn't just sit on top of my skin, but kept it moisturized deep down. I used it with the toner from the same line, and I highly recommend this cream for those with super dry skin. Personally, I wasn't sure about it at first, but after a while, I felt my skin becoming hydrated from within, as if it created a fine protective layer on the surface? It really helped combat dryness. The blemishes caused by my dehydrated skin quickly calmed down, and my skin improved dramatically! While I'm extremely satisfied, it doesn't give an immediate sensation of intense hydration or feel super rich in oils. Rather, it provides a balanced moisture and oil content that hydrates from within, effectively addressing deep dryness. Be careful not to apply too much at once as it can clump and feel heavy. Use an appropriate amount, and for best results, apply it after thoroughly hydrating your skin. I recommend using it together with the toner from the same line, and remember to use just the right amount! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 31, 2018
I have dry, sensitive skin prone to blemishes. Usually, I stick to products I know, but my previous moisturizer was leaving my skin feeling a bit parched. So, trusting Hwahae's recommendations, I decided to give this a try. First off, I'm relieved it didn't cause any breakouts, which was my biggest concern. It's impressively moisturizing even with a small amount, and doesn't leave my skin greasy even when I apply more generously. The texture looks rich, but it's fascinating how it just melts into my skin. The spatula everyone's been raving about is indeed super convenient and effective. Considering the price and quantity, it's a great value. I'm definitely considering repurchasing. While it's not a major inconvenience, having to store the spatula separately is a bit of a hassle. It would be convenient to keep it on top of the inner lid after opening, but this one's a bit large for that. Still, it's pretty, sturdy, and easy to use, so I can't complain too much. Use just the right amount. I applied it after exfoliating, but using too much caused it to pill up like dead skin cells. Be careful not to overdo it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 26, 2018
1. The hydration is incredible! When I first opened the cream, I was a bit intimidated by how thick it looked, especially for my combination-dehydrated skin. For the first few days, I used it as a final step, replacing my usual moisturizer. Surprisingly, it wasn't as oily as I expected! It didn't feel heavy or greasy despite its rich appearance. When I tried using it as my main moisturizer, it was just a tad too much. But the hydration is fantastic! I didn't experience any deep dryness even though I applied it less frequently than my usual cream. For those with dry skin, this could be an excellent standalone moisturizer! 2. The volume is simply amazing... It's much larger than other creams and has great ingredients too! If you have combination-dehydrated skin, you might want to use this mainly on your U-zone in winter or as a final layer like I did. It'll last forever this way... Everyone agrees on this! 3. It absorbs well too! As I mentioned, despite its rich texture, when you pat it in, it absorbs into the skin without any stickiness! It's quite remarkable... My current Sidmool cream leaves a bit of stickiness, so this one feels even better in comparison. Both the application and absorption are excellent! I don't have any complaints about the product itself, but it might be a bit heavy for combination-dehydrated skin... However, for those with dry skin, this could be a perfect cream! It's a moisturizer you can use without regrets. Oh, one thing - I wish it wasn't in a jar format. The spatula is still inconvenient to use... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 26, 2018
*As a member of The Hwahae Testers, I'm writing this review, but I assure you I'm being completely honest* First off, as soon as I tried this product, I immediately thought, 'Wow, this is amazing!' Seriously, everyone, this product is fantastic! ☝️ The texture and application are incredible - Previously, all the creams I used had a runny consistency. However, this Redeu Hydrating Cream has a rich, thick texture. Initially, I thought it might be too heavy for my skin, but I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly it applies! This was one of the reasons I knew it was a great product from the moment I used it. ✌ It reduces redness - My skin tends to be quite prone to redness, but comparing my skin from the first day I used this product to today, there's a significant difference. The redness has mostly disappeared! This alone makes me extremely satisfied. 👌 The hydration is superb - Rather than just feeling moisturizing, the Redeu Hydrating Cream feels like it creates a protective layer on the skin. ✋ It absorbs incredibly fast! - This is what I loved most about it. The product absorbs within seconds of application! It's neither sticky nor tacky - it just applies and absorbs immediately. It's exactly the type of cream I've been looking for. I'm using it with great satisfaction. Since I've only been using this product for two weeks, these are the benefits I've noticed so far. I'll update with more after using it longer! ☝️ It's not very moisturizing! - Personally, I prefer creams that feel more hydrating. As mentioned earlier, this doesn't have a super moisturizing texture. It's more of a personal preference than a complaint, given the product's characteristics. So, if you're looking for a very moisturizing cream, I wouldn't recommend this one! ✌ It might cause blemishes - I'm not entirely sure about this, but after using this product, I developed a small blemish on my cheek where I didn't have any before. It could be due to my skincare routine, but since using this cream was the only change I made, I think it might have contributed. The blemish has since calmed down, but those with super sensitive skin might want to be cautious. ☝️ Make sure to use the included spatula! - At first, I was lazy and applied the cream with my fingers instead of using the spatula. But there's a reason it comes with one! When I used my hands, a lot of dust got into the cream. Since then, I've been using the spatula. Pro tip: use the back (convex part) of the spatula instead of the front (concave part) when scooping out the product - it's easier! Plus, using the spatula helps you control the amount better. ✌ Portion control is crucial! - Even though it's a good product, applying too much at once can make your skin feel overly oily. So, make sure to use small amounts when applying! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinFeb 25, 2018
I'm thrilled to write this review as a winner of The Hwahae Testers program! With my sensitive combination skin, I'm always meticulous about choosing both base and skincare products, considering various opinions. When I won the chance to try the Redew Hydrating Cream, I had high hopes based on the reviews I'd read. I used this cream consistently morning and evening for two weeks. Despite its rich texture, it didn't leave my skin feeling greasy. Instead, it made my skin feel firmer. Even a small amount was enough to banish any feeling of dryness. I usually apply toner and cream before this hydrating cream, but I found I could skip those steps entirely and still feel perfectly moisturized. In the morning, this cream acts almost like a makeup base, creating a smooth canvas that helps my makeup apply beautifully. At night, it feels like I've applied a hydrating mask, with the moisture lasting for hours. The scent is mild and pleasant, just like a typical cream. What impressed me most was the generous amount you get for just 25,000 won. A little goes a long way, so this jar will last quite a while, which is fantastic! Thank you, Hwahae, for selecting me for this event! The only downside is that you have to scoop the product out with your fingers. Even after washing my hands, I noticed some dust getting into the cream. It would be perfect if it came in a pump bottle. On mornings when you want your makeup to look flawless, people often do a mask before applying makeup, which can take 10-20 minutes. If you're short on time, try applying a bit more of the hydrating cream than usual, wait about 3 minutes for your skin to absorb it, then apply your makeup - it works wonders! If you're really pressed for time, try mixing the hydrating cream with your base product in a 1:3 ratio. It should give you great results! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 24, 2018
When I first applied it, despite being a cream, it didn't leave my face feeling greasy. It's perfect for use before makeup as it doesn't cause the foundation to separate or dry out, but keeps the skin hydrated. I love that it comes with a spoon, allowing you to scoop out just the right amount. The texture is more on the rich side rather than light, but once you spread it with the spoon and pat it in with your fingers, it absorbs well without any issues. It's really fantastic! I haven't found any major drawbacks yet, but it does seem to be on the pricier side. Make the most of the included spoon by using its back to spread the cream on your face, then gently pat it in with your fingers for optimal absorption! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 22, 2018
As someone with dry skin, I was looking for a moisturizer that would keep my skin hydrated for a long time. I was thrilled to find that this cream had the rich texture I wanted, and even when I woke up in the morning, my face wasn't dry at all! Due to its rich consistency, those without dry skin might find it a bit heavy to use. Also, given the season, it might feel a bit too thick during the summer months. I tend to have very dry lips, but I've found that if you quickly swipe some of this cream on your lips while applying it to your face, it works about as well as a decent lip balm.
