Skin type: Sensitive, blemish-prone I've been using this product for several jars, even before it changed packaging. The switch from a jar to a pump bottle is a huge plus for hygiene. It's great for balancing oil and moisture, and works well as a winter finishing cream. For reference, I previously used the Redeu Trouble line with toner-ampoule-cream (which felt almost like an emulsion) before applying this product. The price isn't particularly budget-friendly. It's just an average product that doesn't specifically improve acne-prone or sensitive skin. It simply doesn't aggravate the skin... (For treating acne, visiting a dermatologist is recommended.) It's a basic cream that doesn't cause issues when your skin is good, but doesn't significantly improve things when your skin isn't at its best. This is both its strength and weakness. Those who prefer a matte finish or have extremely oily skin should avoid this. Even without mixing it with oils or serums, you might end up with a shiny face after application. Also, the silver coating on the pump part of the container peels off over time. The powder that comes off on your fingers is really unpleasant. They should either remove the silver coating or change the coating material. It's not an issue if you use up the cream quickly, but if you use it slowly, you might have the unpleasant experience of powder getting on your hands in the latter half of usage. I'm currently mixing in a drop of ceramide when using this cream. My routine: Toner - 2 types of ampoules (a watery one + cica-full ampoule, both mixed with hyaluronic acid) - (sheet mask in the evening) - Prien Azulene Calm Cream - a bit of Redeu Hydrating Time Cream (mixed with ceramide) I'm using a small amount since I'm also using the Calm Cream. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSep 30, 2019
My skin is oily but dehydrated, sensitive, and prone to mild atopic dermatitis. I bought this cream because I liked the ingredients in Redeu's essence for oily skin, and I wanted to try their cream too. It's a gentle cream that doesn't cause any blemishes. Even though I have combination dehydrated skin, it absorbs well after a while, leaving my skin feeling moisturized without any greasiness. There's not really anything to complain about, except perhaps that the container is plastic. It would have been even better if it were glass. I don't have any special tips, but I've found that mixing a drop of ampoule or facial oil with the cream definitely improves its nourishing effects. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 12, 2019
It absorbs well and feels lightweight. Above all, it's incredibly hydrating and gentle, which really helped my problematic dry skin. I've been using it for over a year now. The price is also quite reasonable. There's hardly any downside, but it does run out quickly. The initial application might feel a bit rich, but that sensation quickly transforms into a light hydration... So really, there are no drawbacks. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 25, 2019
My skin is sensitive with blemishes~ I've tried many products with good ingredients recommended by Director P, but they didn't suit me and even caused more blemishes and skin irritation at times. However, this product felt so comfortable on my face from the moment I applied it, with just the right balance of oil and moisture. I'm using this along with the blemish essence line, and it's perfect for me. While it doesn't dramatically eliminate blemishes, my face feels incredibly comfortable~ I highly recommend it. There's nothing particularly disappointing~ I just wish it came in a larger size! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 2, 2018
It was pretty decent overall. The hydration was nice and I didn't have any major complaints! I can't really think of any downsides. There weren't any specific drawbacks that stood out to me..! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 15, 2018
1. Smoothness After application, the finish is smooth without being sticky, which is great. It feels like it forms a protective layer on the skin. 2. Moisture retention As this layer forms, it definitely helps retain moisture for longer. 1. Application It's not that the application is bad, but it feels like applying cake frosting. It forms a slippery layer as you apply it, which some might see as a benefit, but I personally found it quite unpleasant. 2. Pilling It pills. Those with oily skin should definitely think twice before using it in the morning. In this hot weather, sweat can form on top of the cream, causing makeup to slide off, leading to a worst-case scenario. 3. Absorption Because it applies in a slippery manner, it's hard to tell if it's properly absorbed or not. While it's good that it's not sticky despite the slick feeling, it certainly doesn't leave a powdery finish. Those with oily skin should definitely do a patch test before using this product. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 6, 2018
1. Hydration is top-notch I tried the Redeu moisturizing cream for the first time and it's absolutely amazing! Other moisturizers I've used before felt hydrating at first but often dried out over time. This one doesn't do that at all! I have oily skin and don't like products that feel too rich, but this one is so hydrating it solves my deep dryness issues. 2. Bouncy texture with great absorption The texture is quite bouncy. I thought it might not absorb well because it's a bit gelato-like in consistency, but it applies smoothly on the face without any pilling. The absorption is fantastic! 3. Doesn't cause blemishes I have acne-prone skin so I'm always sensitive to ingredients, but this one has great ingredients and didn't cause any blemishes!!! While it may vary for each person, I'm so happy to have found a moisturizer that doesn't break me out. 1. Price So far, I haven't found any downsides while using it, but if I had to pick something, it would be that the price is a bit steep...? Still, given the great ingredients and hydration, I can overlook this to some extent! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 21, 2018
It's perfect for dry skin, providing excellent hydration. When blemishes appear, you can see them gradually subsiding. The downside is that the formula isn't particularly lightweight, so I'd recommend it to those who prefer a richer texture. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 6, 2018
I've tried many moisturizers, but the Redeu Hydrating Cream really makes my skin feel comfortable! It wraps around my skin so nicely, and it seems to balance the oil and moisture perfectly! Sometimes it can feel a bit rich if you apply too much, but that shouldn't be an issue if you adjust the amount to suit your skin type! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 12, 2018
I've been using this since winter, and I have sensitive, dry skin. Even with just one application, it moisturizes well and balances oil and hydration perfectly. The ingredients are excellent, which is the main reason! It might be a bit rich for summer use, but it's great for spring, fall, and winter. There's a hygiene issue because of the container! It might be even more inconvenient in summer. Actually, when I used this along with essences and ampoules, it became too much and I started getting blemishes. I think it would be better to use a light product + this one.
