✓ Subtle shading effect I usually don't prefer matte eyeshadows, but 'Born Pure' has an apricot-colored matte shadow that's great for creating a subtle shading effect. ✓ Affordable price This is my first time trying BBIA eyeshadow, and I recommend it for its affordable price, variety of colors, and good quality! ✓ Fine powder When in a hurry, you can quickly apply it with your fingers. When you have more time, use a brush for a nice shading effect. ✓ Powder fallout When applying with a brush, there's some powder fallout. It's manageable if you tap off the excess. ✓ Staying power Because the color is subtle, the staying power is a bit weak. You may need to reapply throughout the day. BBIA's 'Born Pure' (matte) paired with Missha's Peach Smoothie (shimmer) is a great combination for daily makeup, regardless of the season. If you like apricot and peach shades, try testing these before buying! These photos were taken with an iPhone XR camera without color correction, and all products were personally purchased and used for this review. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 18, 2019
- The color doesn't pop dramatically, but it applies naturally to the eyelids (decent pigmentation) - When on sale, you can snag it at a very affordable price - Overall, the colors have a transparent and clear feel, making them great for a fresh and light makeup look - Unfortunately, it's not available at Olive Young stores... - The staying power isn't incredibly long-lasting. The Job's Tears shade worked well for nose contouring, but the colors on the eyelids didn't last very long Color recommendations: - Job's Tears: Perfect for natural nose contouring! It's just the right shade for creating subtle shadows. I used to use Too Cool For School products, but I've switched to this one :) - Born Innocent, Born Charming: I think these are ideal shades for a fresh and light makeup look! I've been enjoying using these eyeshadows for my makeup lately. While I can't speak for the other colors, I believe the Job's Tears shade is a must-have product! Highly recommend Job's Tears! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 11, 2019
This eyeshadow creates a natural, subtle, and feminine look that I use frequently for my daily makeup. It's incredibly affordable when purchased through social media platforms. I occasionally use it as a blush too, which gives a natural finish, making it a go-to product in my routine. There's some excess powder fallout, and the longevity isn't particularly impressive. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopy SkinAug 7, 2018
The color is just my style - not too earthy, but with just the right hint of pink mixed in. It's perfect for my deep undertone complexion. While the staying power isn't the best, the excellent price-to-performance ratio makes up for it, so I'm not too bothered. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 13, 2018
No regrets if you buy it on sale. If you pay 7,000 won for this... + The color is beautiful The staying power is terrible, and so is the adherence. If you go out wearing just this, it's like you're not wearing any eyeshadow at all. If you insist on using it, a cream or Vaseline is a must. There are many similar colors with better adherence available at drugstores for about the same price - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 19, 2018
I'm absolutely in love with this gorgeous base color - it's become my daily go-to! As someone who adores matte eyeshadows without shimmer, this beautiful tea-brown shade is so soft and blendable. It's truly my holy grail eyeshadow! The color payoff and staying power are a bit weak, so using it alone doesn't make much of a noticeable difference on the eyes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinFeb 24, 2018
This is a truly beautiful product to use as a base. I use it every day, and when I apply it as a foundation - wow! Putting a little under the eyes also helps create a more natural finish. I really recommend this! There's a bit of fading? The staying power could be better, but it's still excellent for daily use as a base layer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 30, 2017
It's great for spreading all over the eyelids. I've used it so much that the middle part is now a little hollowed out haha It's fine to apply with your fingers or a brush. It's not super pink, but a bit toned down? I guess you could say, so the color doesn't just sit on top of the skin. You can use it under the eyes to look delicate haha It works great as a blush too👍👍 Not really an issue, but it doesn't last very long ㅋㄱ the staying power could be better. But it's still a good value for the money You can find it at a decent price on social commerce sites. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 30, 2017
The blush was absolutely gorgeous, and it worked wonderfully as a base too! The color was lovely and natural, without any shimmer. I didn't really have any major complaints, but the color wasn't overly pigmented and I didn't feel like it had exceptional staying power. Using it as a base and adding some warm brown shading really makes it look stunning! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 28, 2017
The color is pretty and the pigmentation is quite good. It's prone to breaking and scratching. So it may be a bit moisturizing, but the longevity is low.
