• Pleasant mugwort scent The soothing aroma of mugwort provides a sense of calm and comfort to both mind and body. This natural fragrance is a significant plus for me. However, if you're not fond of mugwort scent, this might not be an advantage for you. • Suitable for blemish-prone skin and layering With its water-based formula, it's great for layering and feels refreshing on the skin. It doesn't dry out the skin like some toners. Considering its texture, applying 2-3 layers could provide a good boost of hydration. • Good value and packaging It's affordable when on sale, and I appreciate the glass bottle packaging. Overall, there are no major drawbacks.

Pros
Since it's a single-ingredient product with mugwort, anyone who isn't sensitive to it can use it with peace of mind. I found the hydration and soothing effects to be quite decent, and I loved the scent too! It's perfect for those who appreciate natural fragrances.

I love how it absorbs quickly like a toner without any stickiness. It's great for hydration too. Perfect for light use during summer.

Pros
It's gentle and non-irritating even when your skin isn't at its best. Maybe it's because of summer, but using this alone feels like it provides enough hydration.
Cons
At first, it had a comforting mugwort scent, but after absorption... oh boy. It's like I've been passionately making out with someone. If that were true, I wouldn't feel so cheated!
Tip
Paying full price for this is a bit much.

It absorbs well into the skin I love that the main ingredient is mugwort extract It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry My skin is sensitive and prone to closed comedones, but this helped calm them down a bit
Cons
It's a product I'd hesitate to buy at full price, so wait for a discount
Tip
If you suddenly get closed comedones, try using it as a cotton pad mask for quick soothing

Pros
Single ingredient -> If mugwort suits you well, you'll be satisfied regardless of skin type. Even if the ingredients on Hwahae look good, if even one out of a few ingredients doesn't agree with my super sensitive skin, it's a disaster. Fortunately, mugwort seems to work well for me. It's been so long since my skin felt this comfortable after application. Until now, no matter how hydrating other products claimed to be, they often left my skin drier than before using them (those famous first essences... almost all of them were worse than using nothing). This product, made solely of mugwort extract without any additional ingredients, helps with deep dryness. It's been ages since I've felt both deep and surface hydration! And since I love herbal scents, using this makes me happy every time.
Cons
It's quite pricey, but considering how many products I've used once and discarded, I've decided to accept the cost... I'm grateful to have found a product that works well for my skin.
Tip
After cleansing, I pat it on twice during the toner step. And... I have to acknowledge Tony Moly's product quality. However, please bring back the pre-reformulation version of the Green Tea Moisture Cream.

Pros
Applying it generously on a cotton pad and gently wiping it on feels clean and moisturizing. I have very dry skin, so I always need to apply products with oil after washing, but using oily essences or toners often leads to blemishes. When I first used this essence directly, I didn't notice much benefit. However, when a store employee suggested using it with a cotton pad, I found it really helps with deep dryness. I've repurchased it.
Cons
When I just applied it directly, I didn't feel much effect. It didn't seem to absorb well. Using it with cotton pads does make a bottle run out faster. People who aren't used to the mugwort scent might dislike the fragrance. I'd recommend smelling it before purchasing.

Pros
As someone with combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin, I experienced extreme dryness and itchiness after giving birth. This product, with its 100% mugwort extract, helped soothe my skin and I'm quite satisfied with it.
Cons
I haven't really noticed much of a difference yet. It doesn't seem to provide that deep hydration I was hoping for.
