It feels like it even tackles deep dryness. The pine scent is incredibly strong, reminiscent of a forest.
ConsI have oily, sensitive skin and tend to get blemishes during my menstrual cycle. With winter coming, I felt my usual emulsion wasn't enough as my skin felt tight and dry, so I ordered this face oil which I hadn't used before. Unfortunately, I had to stop using it due to breakouts. I only added this oil to my existing routine of using Tosowoong Centella Emulsion, but I experienced unusual blemishes. They weren't red, inflamed pimples or white heads, but rather something dark under the skin, like toxins trapped beneath the surface. My face felt painful and swollen when washing. It was really bothersome (I've never had this type of breakout before). The issues started right after I received the product on 10/29. After stopping use for about a week, the dark marks gradually faded. As someone with oily skin, I've only used jojoba oil before... From now on, even if my skin feels dry, I'll avoid face oils. Also, the pine scent was so strong that I worried my partner would smell it when we were close, so I ended up using more perfume to cover it up.
TipAs per the instructions, mix just one drop with your usual emulsion!

I'd say the effects are pretty good. Despite being an oil, it doesn't feel overly rich and absorbs well into the skin. I think even those without severely dry skin could use this comfortably. I've been using it consistently, and I'm quite pleased with it!
ConsThe enclosed leaflet mentioned a strong scent, and while I usually enjoy pine-scented drinks, wow, the fragrance is no joke. When I apply this, it's so intense it actually affects my appetite. Talk about powerful!

First, let me describe my skin type. I have combination skin, so I always need to use oil in spring, fall, and winter. However, I really dislike sticky or heavy oils, so I'm extra careful when testing or purchasing oils. Advantage #1: It absorbs well and quickly, so it doesn't leave much residue on pillows or other surfaces. Advantage #2: Being a lightweight oil, it doesn't cause blemishes or worsen existing ones. (It actually seems to calm them down.) Advantage #3: I usually use Desert Essence Jojoba Oil, but its container is inconvenient, requiring me to buy a separate small dropper bottle, which is a hassle and extra expense. This product, however, comes in a dropper bottle, making it easy to control the amount used.
ConsThere were two main disappointments while using this product. Drawback #1: The strong pine needle scent of the oil itself. (It's similar to eucalyptus... really intense... sigh) While it's a love-it-or-hate-it fragrance, I think most people would dislike it. As someone sensitive to scents, I found it quite difficult to use. If you normally enjoy this type of fragrance, you shouldn't have any issues. But if you're sensitive to scents like me, only apply it at night, no exceptions! If you apply it during the day or in the morning before makeup, your makeup will look fine, but you'll be smelling pine needles all day, and you'll be radiating that scent to others. You'll definitely make your presence known that day. Drawback #2: Does the dropper actually work properly? I believe dropper bottles were invented for convenience in controlling product amount. While this product does come in a dropper bottle, when you pull out the dropper to use the oil, it drips two or three drops at a time. So, to avoid wasting precious oil every time you use it, you need quick reflexes. Of course, with frequent use, you'll develop a knack for it and won't find it too inconvenient, but first-time users might be taken aback.
TipMy parents have cracked heels and rough skin due to dead skin cells. Mixing this oil with Vaseline and applying it doubles the effectiveness. It seems to have whitening properties too, as it brightens the soles of the feet while calming dead skin cells. There's no way around the first drawback mentioned above... but I still recommend using it only at home in the evening. Please, only apply it at night. I can't stress this enough. Let me emphasize again, if you apply it during the day, strangers on the street will turn to look at you. And it won't be because you're beautiful or handsome. It's because of the scent. (Shudder) To overcome the second drawback, try holding the dropper close to your face when using it, and immediately drop the oil onto your skin. This way, you won't have to share your precious oil with the floor. (Otherwise, you and the floor will end up using it 50-50.)

To maximize its effects, I stopped using other skincare products and only used this oil along with a moisturizer (for mixing purposes). Oil application: For an oil, it's surprisingly lightweight and not as heavy as expected. Perhaps that's why it doesn't feel overly greasy. It feels like a slightly rich essence that absorbs well into the skin, leaving it hydrated. Scent: It has a pleasant, fragrant pine-like aroma that lifts your mood. While I enjoy the crisp scent that feels like it could be phytoncide, those with super sensitive skin might have mixed reactions. Effectiveness: To maximize the oil's benefits, I mixed a drop or two with my cream during my skincare routine. Surprisingly, it didn't feel greasy or heavy. Even without using toner or essence, I didn't feel a lack of hydration or richness, which was great. It seems effective in streamlining your skincare routine. Notably, I applied a drop or two directly to my cracked heels before bed. After consistent use, I was amazed to find that my drought-stricken heels became much softer after about a week. Overall: This is a versatile oil perfect for applying to all dry areas - body, face, and hair. It strikes a nice balance, neither too rich nor too light.
ConsI couldn't really find any downsides. If anything, perhaps the strong scent might be polarizing? But with its phytoncide effects and perfume-like quality, I didn't mind it.
TipWhen making homemade face or hair masks, adding a drop or two of this oil not only imparts a pleasant scent but also boosts nutrition. It's especially effective in egg masks, which can have a strong odor - a couple of drops of this oil replace that with a fragrant pine scent.

That's when I received the Red Pine Oil. On the first day, I applied a generous amount to my face, which felt like it wasn't absorbing well. However, from the next day, I started using a smaller amount, and it absorbed beautifully with a great texture. The formula isn't too sticky, and I love that it comes with a dropper. As a working professional, it's often tedious and time-consuming to apply multiple skincare products. Now, I just use toner, Red Pine Oil, and moisturizer - and I'm done! It's so convenient! Even if I don't apply anything the next day, my skin still feels great. Though it's recommended to mix with other products, I prefer using it on its own in my routine, and that works better for me. Working at a hospital, I frequently wash my hands, causing my forearms to crack and flake. I tried the Red Pine Oil on them, and it's amazing! It's also great for rough, dry heels. How versatile! With its excellent ingredients, it's become a trusted product in my routine. I'll definitely keep using it!
ConsWhen first using it, the strong pine scent might be off-putting, but as you continue to use it, you start to feel the aromatherapy benefits. It might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation for some.
TipFor a glowing complexion, try mixing a small amount of the oil with your toner or emulsion when applying makeup in the morning.

Prone to redness and dead skin cells, especially in autumn. * Absorption (Good)/Scent: Usually, products that are rich in oil or feel heavy tend to cause blemishes on my face if they don't absorb well. So I'm particularly picky about face oils, looking for ones that absorb well and feel light. This oil generally has good absorption, so even when mixed with other skincare products (especially creams), it doesn't feel heavy or uncomfortable! However, there is a slight pine-like scent when applied, which might be a matter of personal preference. I recommend testing it before purchasing! * Moisturizing power (Good): I mixed 2-3 drops of oil into my cream, depending on my skin condition that day. The moisturizing power increased compared to using just the cream alone. When I wake up in the morning to do my makeup, my skin feels soft and hydrated! As I have typical combination dehydrated skin, I usually get flaky skin in autumn, but it has improved with consistent use! (Product ingredients: It's an oil with a high content of natural ingredients, and it contains retinyl which is said to be good for skin regeneration.) * Packaging: The design was so pretty as soon as I received it. Flowers and green oil - the design is spot on! It perfectly matches the image of a natural oil. The dropper bottle is great for controlling the amount used and is hygienic.
ConsThe pine scent was a bit too strong for me... The product itself is good, but the scent didn't agree with me, making it uncomfortable to use every time. If it weren't for this, it would be really great!
TipMixing face oil with cream products works even better. It improves moisturizing power and helps with dead skin cell removal. Face oil can be applied not only to the face but also to dry areas like elbows and heels for added hydration.

I've been using it for a week now, mixing it with my moisturizer, and I'm impressed with how well it absorbs and applies. After application, my skin feels incredibly hydrated, and even in the morning, there's no greasiness - just locked-in moisture that seems perfect for dry skin. The scent, whether it's pine or some kind of herbal aroma, is actually quite addictive - I find myself wanting to smell it again and again!
ConsUnfortunately, as my skin is particularly sensitive to oils, I ended up developing some blemishes. While I'd strongly recommend this for those with dry skin, people with sensitive oily skin might want to think twice. Since the blemishes have subsided, I'm planning to give it another try.

I hadn't heard of this brand before, so it was all new to me. When the product arrived, I found some promotional materials and product info in the box. It seems they're a company specializing in natural soaps. After using the product for just over a week, my main takeaway is that it's excellent at combating dryness. Despite being an oil, it's not sticky at all. It feels fresh and absorbs well. While it's on the pricier side, you only need to mix 2-3 drops with your regular skincare products, so it should last quite a while. True to its name 'Solnara' (Pine Tree Land), it has a strong pine scent. Right after application, there's a slight warming sensation, almost like a mild burning feeling. However, this doesn't last long, so it's not bothersome. I think this could be great for men due to its strong scent.
ConsThe only downside is that the fragrance is overpowering. Personally, I didn't find it pleasant. It starts off as a pine scent, but there's something artificial mixed in that I find off-putting.

My current cream is from Make**, which is great for combination dehydrated skin in summer, but not quite enough for transitional seasons. I just mixed in a single drop of this oil. Skin type: I have combination dehydrated skin, but I'm not super sensitive. Absorption: It absorbs surprisingly well! The combination with my cream worked great. No greasiness, just the perfect oil and moisture balance. Hydration: Even when I'm out and about, the hydration lasts, and I don't experience any deep dryness. I still need to test it in the office with the heating on, but we haven't started using that yet. I'll update on how it compares to other oils after using it more. It seems to provide better hydration than jojoba oil.
ConsThe downside is the scent. If you can't get past it, you might not be able to use this. However, the fragrance does dissipate quickly. Since it absorbs well, those with very dry skin should adjust the amount they use.

I mixed it with my usual lightweight moisturizer, and it blends incredibly well. I think it mixes so nicely because it's not a thick cream texture. It definitely seems to absorb well into the skin! This is absolutely true. I've been worried lately as my skin's been getting drier, but I didn't want to apply a heavy cream. I'd recommend this to anyone who's concerned about using thick creams as their skin gets drier. Another thing I loved was the dropper format, which made me feel so much better about hygiene. I think that's why I found myself using it more often. Also, the packaging is so pretty! It brightens my mood every time I take it out to apply. It makes my vanity look a bit cuter, you know? We all know how important these little things are!
ConsThe scent is quite strong, so I only used one drop or one and a half at most. I personally like the pine scent, so it was fine for me, but it might be a bit much for those who don't enjoy it. Still, I found it okay, giving me a sense of healing.
TipThree drops would probably be a bit too much.
