Following the instructions to mix it with other products rather than using it alone, I tried blending it with different toners, serums, and emulsions daily. My current toner has a runny texture and doesn't absorb quickly, but when I mixed 2-3 drops of this oil essence, it absorbed remarkably fast. It also works well with serums, absorbing nicely without any slippery feeling. Mixing it with other products improves their absorption, preventing them from sitting on the skin and making it easier to apply subsequent skincare steps. Despite being an oil essence, it doesn't feel heavy, greasy, or slippery. It's surprisingly clean for an oil, feeling more elastic than heavy. I've been using Physiogel emulsion for about 10 days, and my face feels tight after 4 hours. Due to its slight oiliness, I get a few blemishes, and while my face feels dry, it looks shiny from the product's oil. However, when I mixed the oil essence with the emulsion, I didn't get the blemishes that usually appear when using the emulsion alone. My skin still feels tight after a while, but the oiliness has significantly decreased.
ConsThe scent... When I smelled it through the product box, it seemed fine, like a pine-scented dish soap smell. But upon opening, the fragrance was overpowering. It hit me strongly while applying to my face, making me think it would be difficult to use consistently. Fortunately, it doesn't last long. After a while, as it fades, the scent becomes quite pleasant.

The pine scent is strong right from opening the box. At first, I had trouble adjusting to the intense pine fragrance, but as I continued using it, it gave me a refreshing feeling of being deep in a forest. (I close my eyes and take a deep breath, imagining the scene!) It's not too oily, absorbs well, and quickly. Rather than feeling slippery, it leaves a moisturized sensation that feels fresh. Surprisingly, the redness from small blemishes on my cheeks has subsided since I started using this product. Perhaps due to the pine ingredients, it seems to have both antibacterial and soothing effects. I love that my skin doesn't feel dry even after waking up. Highly recommended!
ConsThe strong pine scent might be polarizing for some. The price is on the higher side, so I can't use it as liberally as I'd like.

The outer packaging design is also quite pretty. I tried mixing two to three drops from the dropper with an emulsion and applying it. Despite being an oil, I was surprised at how well it absorbs. There's no stickiness or slippery feeling left behind - you apply it, gently massage, and whoosh! It absorbs right in! Perhaps that's why it feels like a lightweight oil, and I think I'll reach for it often. My skin is extremely dry, but with this oil, the moisturizing effect seems to last longer, and my makeup applies well too. The scent is truly pine-like, but I also detect notes similar to tea tree oil. I'm really enjoying it. It's great that you can apply it to your face, body, and hair!
ConsI haven't found any downsides yet. However, the scent is quite strong, so some people might not be fond of that!
TipBefore applying makeup, I use an exfoliating toner, then mix 2-3 drops of this oil into my emulsion. This leaves my skin hydrated and allows my foundation to apply smoothly without any pilling!
