It feels like it even tackles deep dryness. The pine scent is incredibly strong, reminiscent of a forest.
ConsI have oily, sensitive skin and tend to get blemishes during my menstrual cycle. With winter coming, I felt my usual emulsion wasn't enough as my skin felt tight and dry, so I ordered this face oil which I hadn't used before. Unfortunately, I had to stop using it due to breakouts. I only added this oil to my existing routine of using Tosowoong Centella Emulsion, but I experienced unusual blemishes. They weren't red, inflamed pimples or white heads, but rather something dark under the skin, like toxins trapped beneath the surface. My face felt painful and swollen when washing. It was really bothersome (I've never had this type of breakout before). The issues started right after I received the product on 10/29. After stopping use for about a week, the dark marks gradually faded. As someone with oily skin, I've only used jojoba oil before... From now on, even if my skin feels dry, I'll avoid face oils. Also, the pine scent was so strong that I worried my partner would smell it when we were close, so I ended up using more perfume to cover it up.
TipAs per the instructions, mix just one drop with your usual emulsion!

First off, anyone can see I have combination dehydrated skin. My T-zone is oily with large pores, while other areas are dry. I've always avoided oils, thinking they wouldn't suit me. The only oil I've tried before is carrot seed oil. I used this product hoping for hydration and blemish relief! Well... I'm not very sensitive to scents - I don't even find carrot seed oil overpowering. In fact, I quite like this product's fragrance. It's not overwhelming, more like being in a forest! As an oil, it applies smoothly and doesn't feel heavy. It's a bit pricey, but since I mix it with other skincare products, I think it'll last a while.
ConsI'm not sure about others, but I experienced blemishes... It seems to have clogged my pores, with tiny whiteheads popping up all over. After I stopped using it and focused on my basic skincare routine, my skin recovered. I guess either there's an ingredient that doesn't agree with me, or oily skin just can't handle oils well. However, when I mix it into a body emulsion, it works great - no tightness at all!

Not sticky True to its name as an oil essence, it wasn't sticky at all. I've tried expensive brand oils before that were sticky, but this one was fine! 2. No dryness Despite the weather making my skin dry lately, I only used 1-2 drops of oil and didn't feel any dryness at all. 3. Scent I heard the scent could be strong, and it did have a sharp smell... like pine needles? I was hesitant at first, but when I actually applied it, the fragrance wasn't overwhelming.
Cons1. Blemishes Since I can't easily change cosmetics, I mixed 1-2 drops with my usual cream. A week after using it, small bumps started appearing, so I stopped for a while! I plan to try it again once my skin calms down! I want to be sure if it's because of this product. 2. Scent This might be a love-it-or-hate-it thing. It could be both a pro and a con. 3. Price It's expensive, but since you don't use much oil, it should last a long time. I've tried a 50ml bottle for $100, but I can't say there's a huge difference! I took off stars because of the scent and blemishes...
TipMix it with your cream! Always! Apply it after letting it absorb!

(I've always loved this kind of fragrance) I mixed two drops with my regular cream. Being super sensitive skin, I first tried it on my arms and legs, and the subtle aroma put me in such a good mood! It's perfect for bedtime use! I even applied some to my husband's heels, and they became so smooth!
ConsSince you only mix in a drop or two at a time, the amount might be a bit much. (Is this really a drawback though?)
TipTry mixing it with your body emulsion before bed for a truly healing experience!

Upon opening, I detected a subtle pine needle scent, which I found refreshing and quite pleasant. I primarily used it in the evening, applying it after allowing my toner to absorb. I'd then layer the toner with the oil. The next morning, I was delighted to discover that my dry and sensitive skin felt moisturized and noticeably calmer.
ConsWhile the pine needle scent might not be for everyone, I personally found it appealing. It had an aromatherapy-like quality that seemed to help me relax.
TipFor best results, I'd recommend using 1-2 drops in the morning and 3-4 drops in the evening.

To maximize its effects, I stopped using other skincare products and only used this oil along with a moisturizer (for mixing purposes). Oil application: For an oil, it's surprisingly lightweight and not as heavy as expected. Perhaps that's why it doesn't feel overly greasy. It feels like a slightly rich essence that absorbs well into the skin, leaving it hydrated. Scent: It has a pleasant, fragrant pine-like aroma that lifts your mood. While I enjoy the crisp scent that feels like it could be phytoncide, those with super sensitive skin might have mixed reactions. Effectiveness: To maximize the oil's benefits, I mixed a drop or two with my cream during my skincare routine. Surprisingly, it didn't feel greasy or heavy. Even without using toner or essence, I didn't feel a lack of hydration or richness, which was great. It seems effective in streamlining your skincare routine. Notably, I applied a drop or two directly to my cracked heels before bed. After consistent use, I was amazed to find that my drought-stricken heels became much softer after about a week. Overall: This is a versatile oil perfect for applying to all dry areas - body, face, and hair. It strikes a nice balance, neither too rich nor too light.
ConsI couldn't really find any downsides. If anything, perhaps the strong scent might be polarizing? But with its phytoncide effects and perfume-like quality, I didn't mind it.
TipWhen making homemade face or hair masks, adding a drop or two of this oil not only imparts a pleasant scent but also boosts nutrition. It's especially effective in egg masks, which can have a strong odor - a couple of drops of this oil replace that with a fragrant pine scent.

I have dry skin prone to deep dryness. With the changing seasons, my skin has been feeling even tighter. I usually avoid oil-based products due to blemishes, so I was hesitant to try this at first. What I liked about this product is that although the initial pine scent was quite strong and off-putting, as I continued using it, it had a calming effect similar to herbal oils. The instructions suggest mixing it with your current skincare products rather than using it alone. I've tried combining it with both toner and emulsion, but found that mixing it with emulsion was more effective in reducing the feeling of deep dryness.
ConsYou won't see dramatic results from the first use. It seems to create a slight oil barrier on the skin's surface. As time passes, there is some shininess.

I've been using it for a week now, mixing it with my moisturizer, and I'm impressed with how well it absorbs and applies. After application, my skin feels incredibly hydrated, and even in the morning, there's no greasiness - just locked-in moisture that seems perfect for dry skin. The scent, whether it's pine or some kind of herbal aroma, is actually quite addictive - I find myself wanting to smell it again and again!
ConsUnfortunately, as my skin is particularly sensitive to oils, I ended up developing some blemishes. While I'd strongly recommend this for those with dry skin, people with sensitive oily skin might want to think twice. Since the blemishes have subsided, I'm planning to give it another try.

Then I realized it had a pine aroma! It's a subtle pine fragrance, like fresh pine needles. I've never used oils before because I have dry skin. I've heard that using oils with other products is good for moisturizing, but I was worried it might make my skin look too shiny or feel greasy. I prefer a slightly fresh finish, you see. I don't like it when products leave a sticky residue. But this oil doesn't feel sticky or sit on top of the skin at all! Even though it's an oil, it absorbs quickly, moisturizing while leaving a nice finish that's not completely matte but not greasy either!
ConsThe scent might be a hit or miss for some people! But it's not too strong, so it's actually quite nice!
TipThe instructions specifically say to add 2-3 drops to other products, so I use it with my emulsion! I'm currently using the Keep Cool Bamboo Emulsion. The emulsion has soothing ingredients, but for someone like me with very dry skin and deep dryness, it wasn't quite moisturizing enough on its own. So I mix it with this oil, and it absorbs quickly, soothes my skin, and provides the extra hydration I need. It works great!

Scent: Oh, the fragrance is strong! I don't mind it, but my friend says it smells like alcohol on her forehead. Even when I say it's pine-scented, she insists it smells like alcohol. Experience: Since receiving the product, I haven't skipped a day. I've been mixing a drop or two into my skincare routine both morning and night. After using it, I haven't had any new blemishes, and existing ones have calmed down. Usually, I get one or two painful spots around my menstrual cycle, but this time, even though it's approaching, no blemishes have appeared. My skin would typically be dry and sensitive this season, but it's neither dry nor sensitive now. Despite being a face oil, it's lightweight, making it suitable even for oily skin. The oil has a green tint. Personally, I feel like my complexion has become clearer, and blemish marks seem to have diminished.
ConsThe strong scent might be polarizing. I just noticed the price is quite high. I suppose the ingredients must be of high quality to justify it? Might need to stock up during sales.
TipIn the evening, after using a sheet mask and letting it absorb, I mix a drop or two of this oil with my moisturizer as a hydration seal. I gently press it into my skin with my palms. When I wake up, my skin feels soft and my complexion looks like that of a baby chick. *Additional notes* It's great. Really good. I'd definitely repurchase after finishing this bottle. After a few days of not using it, I notice my skin becoming dull and my overall skin condition deteriorating. Regarding the amount, even though I received it as part of The Hwahae Testers and have been using it consistently morning and night for about two months, I've used less than half the bottle since I mix it with other products. My complexion has significantly improved.
