As a guy, I usually struggle to maintain a consistent skincare routine. This product is perfect for me - I just put a couple of drops on my hands, quickly rub it in before bed, and when I wake up in the morning, my skin has this subtle glow.
ConsThe scent is quite strong. It's a woody fragrance that I'm not used to, so it's been difficult to adjust to.

This was my first time trying an oil product, so I was worried about blemishes... especially since I already have some skin issues. But surprisingly, the oil didn't cause any new breakouts. The instructions suggest mixing it with other products, so I mainly used it blended into my sleeping pack. I noticed it seemed to enhance my skin texture. While the changes weren't dramatic, I'm grateful for this product as it's made me reconsider oil-based skincare.
ConsThe scent is quite strong. When I first opened it, I was shocked... There's an intense, sharp pine fragrance that hits you immediately. Those sensitive to scents might find it off-putting. Also, being an oil, it does feel a bit slippery on the surface of the skin. When mixing with other products, it takes a while to blend properly. And it doesn't seem to absorb deeply into the skin as well as I'd hoped... I still feel some deep dryness, which is disappointing.
TipI've tried it with both ampoules and creams, but mixing a few drops into my sleeping pack before bed worked best for me.

Perfect for those with dry skin! The lightweight formula doesn't feel heavy or drying, making it easy to use. As someone who regularly uses natural oils, I adapted to it quickly. 2. The ingredients are fantastic for the price. I applied it when my skin was super sensitive, and there was no stinging or pain. It seems to be a non-irritating product. 3. Due to some skin issues, I only used it for two days. However, my mom tested it and said the user experience was great. She mentioned there's no stickiness, and it absorbs well. Of course, the real effects will be seen after a few months of use.
ConsWhile I'm satisfied with the ingredients and price, the scent is overwhelmingly strong. I've been using natural oils for years, including unrefined ones and essential oils with intense fragrances, but I've never encountered such a strong scent before. Of course, the great ingredients and other positive aspects make up for the smell issue.
TipI'd recommend not using this under foundation, not just because of the scent, but also due to the retinol content. Retinol can break down in sunlight, reducing its effectiveness and potentially harming your skin. It's also not compatible with Vitamin C, so it's best not to use these products together. It pairs well with my rosehip blending oil (from Bio&Bio, an international brand I've been using for 4 years. It's really excellent - after about 6 months of use, I felt my skin barrier had strengthened. Great value for money, organic essential oils, and no added Vitamin E or preservatives in the ingredients list). Thanks to its quick absorption, it's not overwhelming when used with existing oils. As it's like a nourishing serum, it's better to use it with gentle, basic skincare products rather than other highly nourishing items.

Prone to redness and dead skin cells, especially in autumn. * Absorption (Good)/Scent: Usually, products that are rich in oil or feel heavy tend to cause blemishes on my face if they don't absorb well. So I'm particularly picky about face oils, looking for ones that absorb well and feel light. This oil generally has good absorption, so even when mixed with other skincare products (especially creams), it doesn't feel heavy or uncomfortable! However, there is a slight pine-like scent when applied, which might be a matter of personal preference. I recommend testing it before purchasing! * Moisturizing power (Good): I mixed 2-3 drops of oil into my cream, depending on my skin condition that day. The moisturizing power increased compared to using just the cream alone. When I wake up in the morning to do my makeup, my skin feels soft and hydrated! As I have typical combination dehydrated skin, I usually get flaky skin in autumn, but it has improved with consistent use! (Product ingredients: It's an oil with a high content of natural ingredients, and it contains retinyl which is said to be good for skin regeneration.) * Packaging: The design was so pretty as soon as I received it. Flowers and green oil - the design is spot on! It perfectly matches the image of a natural oil. The dropper bottle is great for controlling the amount used and is hygienic.
ConsThe pine scent was a bit too strong for me... The product itself is good, but the scent didn't agree with me, making it uncomfortable to use every time. If it weren't for this, it would be really great!
TipMixing face oil with cream products works even better. It improves moisturizing power and helps with dead skin cell removal. Face oil can be applied not only to the face but also to dry areas like elbows and heels for added hydration.

I hadn't heard of this brand before, so it was all new to me. When the product arrived, I found some promotional materials and product info in the box. It seems they're a company specializing in natural soaps. After using the product for just over a week, my main takeaway is that it's excellent at combating dryness. Despite being an oil, it's not sticky at all. It feels fresh and absorbs well. While it's on the pricier side, you only need to mix 2-3 drops with your regular skincare products, so it should last quite a while. True to its name 'Solnara' (Pine Tree Land), it has a strong pine scent. Right after application, there's a slight warming sensation, almost like a mild burning feeling. However, this doesn't last long, so it's not bothersome. I think this could be great for men due to its strong scent.
ConsThe only downside is that the fragrance is overpowering. Personally, I didn't find it pleasant. It starts off as a pine scent, but there's something artificial mixed in that I find off-putting.

With autumn setting in, it's become impossible to do my makeup without using oil. I usually mix jojoba oil and rosehip oil with my toner or ampoule, which works well for my dry skin. This time, I won the Sollara Red Pine Absolute Oil Essence and used it instead of my usual oils for the past week. As the description mentioned the pine scent might be strong, I mixed it with my regular ampoule. Packaging, Price, and Ingredients: It comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. At 30ml for $54, it's on the pricier side. The Hwahae app confirms it's free of harmful ingredients, with main components being natural oils like camellia, apricot, and pine needle. Texture and Scent: Like other oils, it's thin and runny with little viscosity. It flows easily when dropped on the back of your hand. The scent was initially quite strong for me, and even more noticeable when applied to my face. It's described as a pine scent, but to me, it smelled more like a bitter, medicinal propolis scent. Application: I tried mixing it with both ampoule and cream. I usually apply three layers of ampoule, but the scent was too strong to use in all layers, so I ended up mixing it with cream for a week. I'm always careful with skincare due to my chin acne, but this product absorbs well without irritation. Despite my oily T-zone, it actually seemed to create a protective layer that prevented excess sebum production. Effects: I have extremely dry skin in my butterfly zone - it feels tight if I don't apply mist immediately after cleansing. So I focus on hydration, especially at night. After using this mixed with cream, I noticed my skin felt a bit tight the next morning. For my dry skin, it didn't provide enough oil and moisture balance. Interestingly, my sister with combination dehydrated skin stayed over for a few days and tried it too. She found it worked well for her without causing dryness.
ConsThe scent is definitely polarizing. I must be particularly sensitive to fragrances because honestly, after first smelling it, I was hesitant to use it again. The scent was so unpleasant for me that it made the product difficult to use, even though my sister and husband thought it was fine. I ended up giving it to my sister after a week. The propolis-like smell lingering on my face overnight was overwhelming and nauseating. I don't think this would suit those sensitive to fragrances. It also seems better suited for combination dehydrated skin rather than very dry skin like mine. I found jojoba oil works better for me. Also, the price point seems too high. Unless there are frequent sales, $54 is honestly quite burdensome. Given that there are many similar products with comparable effects at lower price points, I don't think I'd feel compelled to spend this much on this particular product.
TipWhen I was struggling with the scent, my husband volunteered to test it on his cracked, flaky feet. While it felt extravagant to use such an expensive product on feet, we tried it anyway. Surprisingly, the next day, his terribly cracked heels showed significant improvement. This could be a great tip for those dealing with rough skin on arms or heels - it provides quick, noticeable results.

This product feels a bit oilier like regular oils, so I tried mixing it with my cream (the instructions also suggest it's better when mixed with cream). Recently, my skin felt dehydrated, probably due to the cold wind, but after using this for about two days, I noticed a significant improvement. It applies and absorbs better than expected. It seems to blend and absorb better with cream compared to other oils (it's great when you feel that deep dryness). When I use it consistently and then switch to just cream for a day or two, I feel dry again. It seems oils provide the best hydration in winter. Also, maybe because my skin is now well-hydrated, I feel like my skin texture is improving just by adding this oil.
ConsFirst off, as soon as you open it, there's an overpowering pine scent. It took me a while to realize it was a pine smell; at first, I just thought, 'What's this intense odor?' (I deducted one star from the rating because of the smell.)
TipInstead of applying oil on top of all your skincare, try mixing it with your moisturizer. (I don't like too much greasiness, so I only mixed in one drop. The instructions say to use two or three drops, but one drop worked fine for me. Also, I only used cream on my T-zone as it's oily and prone to blemishes, and used the oil mixture on the rest of my face.) We all know it's best to apply skincare quickly after cleansing, right? If you wait too long, your skin feels dry no matter what you apply. It won't absorb well.

I have combination dehydrated super sensitive skin. Usually, my skin is fine, but it tends to become a bit sensitive or prone to blemishes depending on the season (especially during seasonal changes). I've taken before and after photos of using this product, and it seems to provide just the right amount of soothing and hydration! Looking at the skin photos, you can see that the blemishes have calmed down to some extent, and my skin texture has improved nicely. Most importantly, it seems to provide excellent hydration! After using it, I didn't experience any new breakouts or skin irritation that caused redness. The only thing was that the pine scent was a bit too strong at first, but after using it a few times, I either got used to the fragrance or it became less noticeable! Haha. Perhaps because it uses good ingredients, my skin feels healthier, which in turn improves my mood.
Cons1. The pine scent is quite strong, so it might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation for some people! 2. Personally, I like the green color, but I wish the packaging was a bit more simple. 3. I'm not sure about the discounted price, but the regular price is a bit on the higher side, which makes it somewhat burdensome.
Tip1. When mixed with foundation, it gives a nice glow and creates a subtle radiance that improves the overall skin appearance! 2. When mixed with cream, it seems to absorb better and provide even more hydration! If I apply it before bed, my skin stays moisturized until morning, and it keeps dead skin cells at bay, preventing any pilling or patchy makeup application.

I usually keep my skincare routine minimal with just toner and emulsion or toner and cream. But with just a few drops of this oil, I could feel my deep dryness disappearing and my oil and moisture balance evening out! You know how they say lack of hydration can lead to more sebum production? Well, when I mixed this in and slept with it on, the next morning I noticed less dryness and less excess oil than usual!
ConsOn first use, the pine scent was so strong that I wondered if I'd be able to get used to it. I prefer unscented products, so I felt a bit put off by this, to be honest.
TipPersonally, I found it works better with lighter emulsions rather than thick creams. When doing my makeup in the morning, mixing in a drop makes my foundation apply smoothly without caking. On days I use this, I barely feel any dryness even after applying powder! I'd say it works even better than most makeup bases out there.

Its eye-catching design makes it a beautiful addition to any vanity, encouraging frequent use. The dropper applicator allows for precise control of the amount dispensed. Unlike many heavy oils, this product has a lightweight, non-sticky texture that absorbs well into the skin. The high concentration of natural oils and the inclusion of retinol for skin regeneration make the ingredient list truly impressive. Given the potent blend of natural oils and Vitamin A, I've been cautious in my application. I either use a few drops as a final step in my skincare routine or apply it after toner for a simplified approach. It's particularly effective in autumn and winter when cream alone might not provide enough hydration. While it's more of a treatment product than a basic skincare item, I believe it's worth trying if it suits your skin type. I prefer using products with effective active ingredients rather than those with ambiguous formulations. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to incorporate natural oils for skin regeneration into their routine.
ConsThe intense fragrance of this product was quite surprising at first use. It's a complex scent, reminiscent of pine but with additional strong notes that are difficult to describe - similar to aromatherapy oils. The scent is so potent that it's almost like wearing perfume on your face. Although it's a natural fragrance that fades over time, it might be a polarizing aspect of the product. Additionally, those with sensitive skin should proceed with caution and patch test before use. Due to the potent ingredients, it can cause slight itching on sensitive areas. I personally experienced some sensitivity on my neck area and had to avoid applying the product there.
