As I was feeling the change of seasons on my skin first and considering switching up my essence or cream, I won a Hwahae tester opportunity! I'm so grateful~ While my skin isn't particularly sensitive to ingredients, it's dry and changes a lot with the seasons. Despite being dry, my skin changes slightly throughout the year. If I apply too much product, it tends to pill and doesn't absorb well. I have to carefully apply my skincare every time just to manage the deep dryness. Initially, I was worried about absorption, shininess, and pilling since it's an oil. But since I used it mixed with other products rather than alone, I didn't experience these issues. In fact, I felt it absorbed even better when mixed! After applying, there was hardly any shine, and it gave a natural glow. Even though it's autumn and my skin was painfully dry, this definitely provided good hydration. Above all, I saw the biggest benefit from the oil the next morning. Usually, I wake up dry due to moisture loss overnight, but after using this oil, that problem completely disappeared! It's said to increase absorption when used with functional products, but I don't use any separate functional products in my routine, so I'm not sure about that aspect. However, it can be used all over the body, especially on elbows and hair, so I made good use of it in various ways. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed because I had high expectations. I guess I was expecting something more dramatic... At first, I used the oil alone and didn't notice much, so I thought this product's role was to increase absorption when mixed with other products. I used it with a body emulsion, and maybe that's why, but at least my elbows improved! And then there's the hair, which I was also excited about! I usually wash my hair before bed, and my hair condition is quite damaged from coloring and perming. So I really need to apply essence, but when I apply it and go to sleep, my hair touches my face and causes acne. So I reluctantly apply essence in the morning. Naturally, it's less effective than applying right after washing, but since this is for the whole body, I was so happy and used it enthusiastically... However, I might have overdone it. I had to spend the whole day feeling like I'd been caught in the rain, and every time I touched my hair, oil would come off on my hands! For hair, I think it would be good if you just control the amount well.
Cons* The scent In my opinion, it wasn't a pleasant pine scent. My husband would plead with me every day not to use it. * The ingredients are somewhat concerning I'm not particularly sensitive to ingredients, but I think those with sensitive skin probably wouldn't choose to buy this. * Skin type I think it would suit dry skin types well, but in my opinion, it probably wouldn't be good for combination dehydrated skin. * Mixing it with other products is a bit inconvenient It's manageable with creams or emulsions on the palm, but it's inconvenient with ampoules or essence-type products. I prefer products that go directly on the skin rather than on my hands, as I worry about absorption in my palms. This aspect was uncomfortable during use.
TipFor water-based products like ampoules or essences, it's good to lightly apply them to your face first, then drop the oil onto your hands and apply it together with the product you've already put on.

As you can see from the ingredient list, it's made with natural components. They've added retinyl palmitate for anti-aging and firmness benefits. It's a retinol derivative that's known for its stability and effectiveness. - It's a lightweight oil. In fact, it's the lightest oil I've ever used. As the weather was getting drier, I started looking for an oil and found this one. When I mix 2 drops with my moisturizer, my skin stays hydrated all day and feels silky smooth. If you've been hesitant about oils because of their heaviness, I highly recommend trying this one. - The pine scent is quite strong, but I actually love it. It gives a sense of mental and physical healing. While it might not be everyone's cup of tea, I'm personally very satisfied with it.
ConsI didn't find any particular downsides. However, the pine scent might be polarizing. It's similar to the aroma you'd find in a sauna's oxygen room.
Tip1. When I mix a couple of drops with my emulsion as the final step of my skincare routine before makeup, my skin stays silky smooth and hydrated until evening. Above all, I'm extremely satisfied with how lightweight it feels. 2. I've also tried mixing it with my body lotion and applying it to my elbows, heels, and legs. Even the areas that used to be rough are now silky smooth!

First off, anyone can see I have combination dehydrated skin. My T-zone is oily with large pores, while other areas are dry. I've always avoided oils, thinking they wouldn't suit me. The only oil I've tried before is carrot seed oil. I used this product hoping for hydration and blemish relief! Well... I'm not very sensitive to scents - I don't even find carrot seed oil overpowering. In fact, I quite like this product's fragrance. It's not overwhelming, more like being in a forest! As an oil, it applies smoothly and doesn't feel heavy. It's a bit pricey, but since I mix it with other skincare products, I think it'll last a while.
ConsI'm not sure about others, but I experienced blemishes... It seems to have clogged my pores, with tiny whiteheads popping up all over. After I stopped using it and focused on my basic skincare routine, my skin recovered. I guess either there's an ingredient that doesn't agree with me, or oily skin just can't handle oils well. However, when I mix it into a body emulsion, it works great - no tightness at all!

Not sticky True to its name as an oil essence, it wasn't sticky at all. I've tried expensive brand oils before that were sticky, but this one was fine! 2. No dryness Despite the weather making my skin dry lately, I only used 1-2 drops of oil and didn't feel any dryness at all. 3. Scent I heard the scent could be strong, and it did have a sharp smell... like pine needles? I was hesitant at first, but when I actually applied it, the fragrance wasn't overwhelming.
Cons1. Blemishes Since I can't easily change cosmetics, I mixed 1-2 drops with my usual cream. A week after using it, small bumps started appearing, so I stopped for a while! I plan to try it again once my skin calms down! I want to be sure if it's because of this product. 2. Scent This might be a love-it-or-hate-it thing. It could be both a pro and a con. 3. Price It's expensive, but since you don't use much oil, it should last a long time. I've tried a 50ml bottle for $100, but I can't say there's a huge difference! I took off stars because of the scent and blemishes...
TipMix it with your cream! Always! Apply it after letting it absorb!

Upon opening, I detected a subtle pine needle scent, which I found refreshing and quite pleasant. I primarily used it in the evening, applying it after allowing my toner to absorb. I'd then layer the toner with the oil. The next morning, I was delighted to discover that my dry and sensitive skin felt moisturized and noticeably calmer.
ConsWhile the pine needle scent might not be for everyone, I personally found it appealing. It had an aromatherapy-like quality that seemed to help me relax.
TipFor best results, I'd recommend using 1-2 drops in the morning and 3-4 drops in the evening.

Perfect for those with dry skin! The lightweight formula doesn't feel heavy or drying, making it easy to use. As someone who regularly uses natural oils, I adapted to it quickly. 2. The ingredients are fantastic for the price. I applied it when my skin was super sensitive, and there was no stinging or pain. It seems to be a non-irritating product. 3. Due to some skin issues, I only used it for two days. However, my mom tested it and said the user experience was great. She mentioned there's no stickiness, and it absorbs well. Of course, the real effects will be seen after a few months of use.
ConsWhile I'm satisfied with the ingredients and price, the scent is overwhelmingly strong. I've been using natural oils for years, including unrefined ones and essential oils with intense fragrances, but I've never encountered such a strong scent before. Of course, the great ingredients and other positive aspects make up for the smell issue.
TipI'd recommend not using this under foundation, not just because of the scent, but also due to the retinol content. Retinol can break down in sunlight, reducing its effectiveness and potentially harming your skin. It's also not compatible with Vitamin C, so it's best not to use these products together. It pairs well with my rosehip blending oil (from Bio&Bio, an international brand I've been using for 4 years. It's really excellent - after about 6 months of use, I felt my skin barrier had strengthened. Great value for money, organic essential oils, and no added Vitamin E or preservatives in the ingredients list). Thanks to its quick absorption, it's not overwhelming when used with existing oils. As it's like a nourishing serum, it's better to use it with gentle, basic skincare products rather than other highly nourishing items.

That's when I received the Red Pine Oil. On the first day, I applied a generous amount to my face, which felt like it wasn't absorbing well. However, from the next day, I started using a smaller amount, and it absorbed beautifully with a great texture. The formula isn't too sticky, and I love that it comes with a dropper. As a working professional, it's often tedious and time-consuming to apply multiple skincare products. Now, I just use toner, Red Pine Oil, and moisturizer - and I'm done! It's so convenient! Even if I don't apply anything the next day, my skin still feels great. Though it's recommended to mix with other products, I prefer using it on its own in my routine, and that works better for me. Working at a hospital, I frequently wash my hands, causing my forearms to crack and flake. I tried the Red Pine Oil on them, and it's amazing! It's also great for rough, dry heels. How versatile! With its excellent ingredients, it's become a trusted product in my routine. I'll definitely keep using it!
ConsWhen first using it, the strong pine scent might be off-putting, but as you continue to use it, you start to feel the aromatherapy benefits. It might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation for some.
TipFor a glowing complexion, try mixing a small amount of the oil with your toner or emulsion when applying makeup in the morning.

I used to mix oil with my cream, and when I tried this product in the same way, I didn't experience any blemishes or unusual reactions. Considering I have super sensitive skin, the fact that it didn't cause any issues suggests it's gentle and seems to provide good hydration.
ConsWhile the dropper design of this product makes it easy to use, it's frustrating that when you're almost finished, it's difficult to get the last bit of oil out. You have to turn it upside down, and even then, you can't always get the amount you want. There's a risk of overusing or spilling. Other than that, I don't have any complaints about the oil itself!
TipYou can apply it directly, but it's easier to use if you mix it with your cream or emulsion.

I was intrigued when I heard that even oily skin needs an oil barrier, so this was a great opportunity to try it out. I appreciated that the formula doesn't just run off your face. It's not an overly greasy oil that sits on top of the skin, which is nice. It mixes well with other products, comes in a generous amount, and doesn't irritate or overwhelm my skin. I didn't experience any blemishes either. While the product has its own benefits, it seems to really excel at preventing moisture loss. My skin definitely feels less dry as a result. Although I haven't used it long enough to see dramatic effects, I want to praise it for how well it's managed to combat dryness in this season. I believe with consistent use, it will help improve dryness and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
ConsThe product has a very strong, distinctive scent. While it's not an artificial fragrance, so I wouldn't say it's bad, it can be overwhelming. I carelessly mixed it with my eye cream and felt a slight burning sensation around my eyes. The strong scent makes it a bit daunting to apply generously. It definitely requires some getting used to.
TipWhen applied as the final step in your nighttime skincare routine after cleansing, it feels like your skin is protected throughout the night.

The product has a light green color with a slightly thin consistency, feeling like a mix of oil and serum. It's not too heavy for oily skin types. The ingredients are so good that you can apply it without worry. Rather than applying the product separately, mixing it with your regular cream seems to give a better finish and absorption. After using it, I noticed that the feeling of inner dryness with only surface oiliness disappeared, which was great. The oil is lightweight, making it suitable for morning use as well. Since you only need a drop or two each time, it will last long, so it doesn't feel overly expensive. Another plus is that it can be used on body and hair too. With its pine needle scent, it's likely to be suitable for the whole family to use together, unless someone strongly dislikes the fragrance.
ConsThe scent... Fortunately, it's not overwhelmingly strong, but it wasn't the mild fragrance I initially expected. It has a unique aroma that's a mix of the fresh scent you'd smell in a forest plus a herbal note. I think it might be a bit challenging for those with sensitive noses.
TipI recommend mixing a drop of this with a light moisturizer. It feels like it both hydrates and creates a protective layer on the skin.
