It feels like it even tackles deep dryness. The pine scent is incredibly strong, reminiscent of a forest.
ConsI have oily, sensitive skin and tend to get blemishes during my menstrual cycle. With winter coming, I felt my usual emulsion wasn't enough as my skin felt tight and dry, so I ordered this face oil which I hadn't used before. Unfortunately, I had to stop using it due to breakouts. I only added this oil to my existing routine of using Tosowoong Centella Emulsion, but I experienced unusual blemishes. They weren't red, inflamed pimples or white heads, but rather something dark under the skin, like toxins trapped beneath the surface. My face felt painful and swollen when washing. It was really bothersome (I've never had this type of breakout before). The issues started right after I received the product on 10/29. After stopping use for about a week, the dark marks gradually faded. As someone with oily skin, I've only used jojoba oil before... From now on, even if my skin feels dry, I'll avoid face oils. Also, the pine scent was so strong that I worried my partner would smell it when we were close, so I ended up using more perfume to cover it up.
TipAs per the instructions, mix just one drop with your usual emulsion!

Not sticky True to its name as an oil essence, it wasn't sticky at all. I've tried expensive brand oils before that were sticky, but this one was fine! 2. No dryness Despite the weather making my skin dry lately, I only used 1-2 drops of oil and didn't feel any dryness at all. 3. Scent I heard the scent could be strong, and it did have a sharp smell... like pine needles? I was hesitant at first, but when I actually applied it, the fragrance wasn't overwhelming.
Cons1. Blemishes Since I can't easily change cosmetics, I mixed 1-2 drops with my usual cream. A week after using it, small bumps started appearing, so I stopped for a while! I plan to try it again once my skin calms down! I want to be sure if it's because of this product. 2. Scent This might be a love-it-or-hate-it thing. It could be both a pro and a con. 3. Price It's expensive, but since you don't use much oil, it should last a long time. I've tried a 50ml bottle for $100, but I can't say there's a huge difference! I took off stars because of the scent and blemishes...
TipMix it with your cream! Always! Apply it after letting it absorb!

That's when I received the Red Pine Oil. On the first day, I applied a generous amount to my face, which felt like it wasn't absorbing well. However, from the next day, I started using a smaller amount, and it absorbed beautifully with a great texture. The formula isn't too sticky, and I love that it comes with a dropper. As a working professional, it's often tedious and time-consuming to apply multiple skincare products. Now, I just use toner, Red Pine Oil, and moisturizer - and I'm done! It's so convenient! Even if I don't apply anything the next day, my skin still feels great. Though it's recommended to mix with other products, I prefer using it on its own in my routine, and that works better for me. Working at a hospital, I frequently wash my hands, causing my forearms to crack and flake. I tried the Red Pine Oil on them, and it's amazing! It's also great for rough, dry heels. How versatile! With its excellent ingredients, it's become a trusted product in my routine. I'll definitely keep using it!
ConsWhen first using it, the strong pine scent might be off-putting, but as you continue to use it, you start to feel the aromatherapy benefits. It might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation for some.
TipFor a glowing complexion, try mixing a small amount of the oil with your toner or emulsion when applying makeup in the morning.

I hadn't heard of this brand before, so it was all new to me. When the product arrived, I found some promotional materials and product info in the box. It seems they're a company specializing in natural soaps. After using the product for just over a week, my main takeaway is that it's excellent at combating dryness. Despite being an oil, it's not sticky at all. It feels fresh and absorbs well. While it's on the pricier side, you only need to mix 2-3 drops with your regular skincare products, so it should last quite a while. True to its name 'Solnara' (Pine Tree Land), it has a strong pine scent. Right after application, there's a slight warming sensation, almost like a mild burning feeling. However, this doesn't last long, so it's not bothersome. I think this could be great for men due to its strong scent.
ConsThe only downside is that the fragrance is overpowering. Personally, I didn't find it pleasant. It starts off as a pine scent, but there's something artificial mixed in that I find off-putting.

Before applying foundation, I use toner and moisturizer, followed by this Red Pine Absolute Oil Essence. Even though I used the same steps and products as before, this oil essence made all the difference - it gave me that coveted 'honey skin' look. Despite being called an oil essence, it's not oily at all. It applies smoothly and feels hydrating without being sticky. The texture is quite fluid, not thick or tacky. I'm absolutely in love with it!
ConsThe area around my mouth is prone to dead skin cells, so I tend to apply oil essences more carefully there. However, since pine is the main ingredient, the scent is overwhelmingly strong... I wish they could enhance the beneficial properties of pine while toning down the fragrance. That's just my personal opinion. As soon as you open the product, you're hit with a scent that feels about a thousand times more concentrated than it needs to be.
TipBecause the pine scent is too intense for me, I mix it with a nice-smelling emulsion. This isn't just to mask the smell - I find that when mixed with other skincare products, it seems to have an even better hydrating effect on my skin.

The generous amount means I won't have to worry all winter. Despite being an oil, it doesn't feel greasy. When mixed with other products, it absorbs quickly without feeling sticky. It's a safe choice for dry and sensitive skin types. I think I could use this from late autumn to early spring, or even early summer.
ConsThe pine scent...! I used it anxiously for about a week, not being used to the unfamiliar fragrance. Honestly, apart from the scent, I didn't find any other drawbacks.
TipFor my sensitive skin, after toner, I applied a drop each of aloe and hyaluronic toner with two drops of oil... I gave my skin a week to adapt. From the second week on, I found it worked well to apply my usual essence with two or three drops of oil after toner, then finish with a slightly acidic toner for absorption.

Its eye-catching design makes it a beautiful addition to any vanity, encouraging frequent use. The dropper applicator allows for precise control of the amount dispensed. Unlike many heavy oils, this product has a lightweight, non-sticky texture that absorbs well into the skin. The high concentration of natural oils and the inclusion of retinol for skin regeneration make the ingredient list truly impressive. Given the potent blend of natural oils and Vitamin A, I've been cautious in my application. I either use a few drops as a final step in my skincare routine or apply it after toner for a simplified approach. It's particularly effective in autumn and winter when cream alone might not provide enough hydration. While it's more of a treatment product than a basic skincare item, I believe it's worth trying if it suits your skin type. I prefer using products with effective active ingredients rather than those with ambiguous formulations. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to incorporate natural oils for skin regeneration into their routine.
ConsThe intense fragrance of this product was quite surprising at first use. It's a complex scent, reminiscent of pine but with additional strong notes that are difficult to describe - similar to aromatherapy oils. The scent is so potent that it's almost like wearing perfume on your face. Although it's a natural fragrance that fades over time, it might be a polarizing aspect of the product. Additionally, those with sensitive skin should proceed with caution and patch test before use. Due to the potent ingredients, it can cause slight itching on sensitive areas. I personally experienced some sensitivity on my neck area and had to avoid applying the product there.

It absorbs well. Among oils, I think its absorption is top-notch! #Hydration I mix it with my cream as the last step of my skincare routine, and it definitely creates a moisturizing barrier effect. It doesn't feel like there's a film on my face or feel suffocating, but rather it feels like it's protecting the skin's moisture from evaporating. Even when I apply it at night, my skin doesn't feel tight the next morning. #User Experience I've tried mixing it with both cream and emulsion, and it blends well with both products. It applies smoothly, making for a pleasant user experience. I think you'll see better hydration results if you mix it with products that suit your skin well. #Blemishes Usually, when I apply products that are too oily or highly nourishing, I break out, but I haven't experienced any blemishes with this. If you use a small amount as directed - one or two drops mixed in - it improves dryness without causing redness. (One time I used several drops, which was a bit much, and I felt some warmth on my face after a while. If you have sensitive skin, make sure to stick to the recommended amount.) #Packaging (Dropper) The dropper is smooth, and it's easy to control the amount, dispensing one drop at a time without difficulty. I think this might be the best oil product I've used so far. If you prep your skin to be moist in the previous steps and finish with this product mixed with cream, you can achieve that glowing, honey-like skin! I'm using it with satisfaction!
Cons#Scent As I usually use unscented products, I found this a bit strong for me. When I first opened it, I thought 'Oh, nice pine scent' from the packaging box, but the fragrance is quite strong. It's not artificial fragrance, so... And the scent doesn't last long, so it wasn't unbearable. #Amount Control is Essential Probably because it's highly concentrated, it can be irritating if you use too much. I accidentally used a few extra drops once, and I felt some warmth rising, so I realized it's not a completely gentle product. Make sure to stick to the specified amount!

After application, it feels firm without being sticky 2. Absorbs well without leaving a greasy shine 3. Great for use on hair and body too 4. Larger volume compared to other oils 5. Softens skin texture 6. Not heavy for an oil, so it seems suitable for summer use 7. Brightens complexion
Cons1. Strong scent might be polarizing 2. On the pricier side, even with discounts 3. Packaging looks a bit dated (personal opinion) 4. While it might work for summer, it's not hydrating enough on its own for winter
TipI once had a bad reaction to retinol oil that irritated my skin, so I'm cautious now. I only use a small amount mixed with other products, and apply it only in the evening. The undiluted oil works fine for body use though!

Ingredients The ingredients are great. No itching or redness! 2. Texture For an oil, it's not sticky and has a fluid consistency. It absorbs well into the skin without feeling greasy or leaving a residue. The pretty packaging is a nice bonus!
Cons1. Scent It has a strong pine scent. While I personally find it refreshing, it might be a polarizing fragrance for some. 2. Dispensing The fluid texture makes it a bit tricky to control the amount with the dropper.
TipAlthough it's an oil, it mixes well with any product! I recommend blending it with other skincare items. Also, it's great not just for the face, but also for dry areas like elbows!
