I'm writing this review because I really want to recommend this product to you. * Cleansing It cleanses thoroughly as a first-step cleansing. I feel like it's sweeping away all the impurities. Yet, it's not irritating at all. Even though I used the same amount of base makeup, I felt that more of it was removed compared to other cleansing waters. * Ingredients It has a mild acidic pH that's perfect for the skin. Moreover, it's oil-free. So it's suitable for people like me who don't get along well with cleansing oils. * When you're too tired No need for water cleansing. When you come home exhausted and just want to collapse, or when you don't even have the energy to change your clothes... but you're still worried about your skin the next day... I've used this to quickly cleanse and then just crashed until morning. It didn't leave my skin feeling tight or cause any breakouts. (But when you're of sound mind, it's still better to properly wash your face and then sleep, probably because of the scent haha) Look at the third photo! I applied foundation on the back of my hand for a patch test and then wiped it off - doesn't it look squeaky clean?

* Cleansing before makeup application when it feels like it's sitting unevenly Have you ever tried using a cleansing water right after waking up, instead of immediately washing your face? There was a period when I couldn't do my full skincare routine in the mornings, and I'd wake up feeling like my makeup was going to slide right off. So I'd quickly cleanse with a cotton pad and then wash my face. Let me tell you, I was shocked when I saw the amount of residue on that cotton pad! Even though I had double-cleansed the night before and diligently done my skincare, my skin was still holding onto so much gunk. Especially in the winter, when you're using rich moisturizers, you may find that a lot of product has been absorbed overnight. Even though you're going to wash your face anyway, if you're short on time and can't do a full routine, I recommend quickly cleansing with a cleansing water right when you wake up, before washing. You'll be surprised at how much better your makeup applies after that!

Pros
This is a product that I stock up on when buying 1+1 deals. It's mildly acidic, yet provides sufficient cleansing power. While I'm not sure about its ability to remove eyeliner, it does a great job of removing eyeshadow. As for the product design, I personally find the toner cap-style type more convenient for dosage control than a pump-style dispenser.
Cons
The only downside is that it only comes in a large size. I wish they would offer a mini version as well.
Tip
For those who don't wear heavy eye makeup, you can simply cover the opening with a cotton swab and use just the dampened cotton to effectively remove the makeup.

I have extremely dry skin. After washing my face, the moment the moisture dries, my skin becomes completely parched. I was using the Missha Cleansing Water, but during a sale period, I discovered and purchased this product. Since it's mildly acidic, it's gentle and non-irritating. When I used other brands' cleansing waters, my skin would feel dry the moment it dried, but with this product, there's no drying sensation.
Cons
With cleansing waters, no matter how many times I wipe, on days when I have full makeup on, there's still a lingering feeling of residue...
Tip
Since I have dry skin, I spray on a mist first, and then use the cleansing water to wipe it off. That way, there's even less skin irritation.

The ingredients are good, and it's a mild acidic cleansing water, so you can use it with confidence!✔ Personally, I liked the adequate volume and the clean, simple product design. I don't usually do waterproof makeup, so I'm not sure about the cleansing power, but when I used it with a cotton pad, it was able to remove gel eyeliners, brush-tip liners, eyeshadows, mascaras, and most of my base makeup pretty well! (However, when removing base makeup, I had to scrub the pores on my nose area 3-4 times more firmly to get it all off..ㅠ) They say it's fragrance-free, but there is a slight scent when wiping with a cotton pad! It's not alcohol, but something similar...? It doesn't really bother me, though!^^ Also, since it contains peppermint extract, there's a refreshing 'swish' feeling after cleansing, leaving a clean, fresh sensation!🌱🌿 (Is this where the 'swish' scent comes from...?ㅎ)

This product doesn't remove base makeup very well, especially around my large pores on the nose area. I have to wipe it 3-4 times firmly with a cotton pad to get it off, and that can be a bit irritating.ㅠㅠ And strangely, although I didn't notice it much at first, the more I used this product, the more I felt my skin tightening 1-2 minutes after cleansing..ㅜㅜ So I try to wash my face and apply toner quickly.😥 (* This product is described as a no-wash cleanser, but I'm the type who always does a second wash, using a lip and eye remover, cleansing oil, and cleansing water.)

Pros
This is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review! I'm not the type to wear heavy makeup, so I don't usually use makeup removers either haha. I just use cleansing water to wipe off my lips. So I was looking for a cleansing water with good cleansing power and a slightly acidic pH, and this product fit those criteria perfectly! 1. No irritation and no breakouts - I didn't experience any breakouts or irritation while using this. Even when I went over blemish-prone areas, it didn't sting or feel uncomfortable~ Of course, you have to be gentle with the application. 2. Cleansing power is amazing☆☆☆☆☆ - This seems to be the biggest advantage of this product. Compared to the Innisfree Blueberry Cleansing Water I used before, the amount of residue left on the cotton pad was noticeably different. It effectively removed my eyebrow mascara and lip products. With the previous product, I had to pump it several times, but with this one, just two or three pumps were enough. 3. Slightly acidic cleansing water - There are many slightly acidic foam cleansers, but it's hard to find cleansing oils or waters with a similar pH. I was really satisfied that this one has a slightly acidic pH.

While there weren't any major downsides, I think it would be good to mention a few points of comparison with other products: 1. Relatively expensive price - To be honest, I thought this Laneige product would be even more expensive, since Laneige isn't a low-cost brand. Compared to that, I felt this was more affordable. But still, since I'm used to using more budget-friendly brands, anything over 20,000 won feels a bit pricey to me. However, the price aspect is something you can really only evaluate after using up the whole bottle. If the product lasts a long time, the perceived cost per use goes down. Just wiping with the cotton pads will eventually remove everything, but it might be a bit too irritating. Instead, I found that wetting my face with water in between changing the cotton pads helps prevent that drying feeling. Don't just apply the product directly to your bare skin - be sure to give your face a quick water rinse first!

Cons
There are no real downsides to the product performance :) If I had to nitpick, the only thing I'm unsure about is whether animal testing was conducted for this product, as there is no indication on the packaging. Lately, I've been paying attention to this aspect as well, and I consider factors like price, performance, ingredients, and testing when making purchasing decisions. When you wipe off cleansing water with a cotton pad, it can be irritating and turn red. But with this product, no matter how hard I rubbed, it didn't turn red! The fact that it's mildly acidic! The fact that you don't have to rinse it off! Even without wiping and rinsing with water, my skin felt moisturized, and I didn't get any breakouts the next day! A scent that won't polarize opinions!
Cons
It said it would remove waterproof makeup thoroughly, but the mascara didn't come off very well! I tried several times, but it just wouldn't come off! I think I'll have to use a dedicated eye makeup remover for my eye makeup! Even though you don't have to rinse it off with water, I still feel a bit uneasy, so I think I'll do a second cleanse.

I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and had the opportunity to use this product. :) To begin, I have a combination of sensitive and atopic dermatitis skin. Before receiving this product, I was using the Piaa Ghost Cleanser. I used it for about a week. As someone with sensitive skin, even the slightest irritating ingredients can cause redness and bumpy skin issues to arise. However, as evident from the ingredients, this product did not irritate my skin at all. In fact, being mildly acidic, it was very beneficial for my atopic dermatitis skin. Additionally, the Piaa product I was using previously would leave my skin feeling dry, and I had to quickly apply a moisturizer before my skin felt tight. But this product is very moisturizing! I'll have to use it more in the winter to fully assess, but even in the current summer, my skin remains hydrated after cleansing, without needing to immediately apply another product. The scent is also pleasant, not overpowering, and almost unscented. Those sensitive to fragrance should have no major issues with this product.
Cons
The cleansing ability was satisfactory for me, but those looking for a more powerful cleanser may want to consider other options. I experimented with the following products: Piaa Auto Eyeliner Pencil in Soul Brown, Innisfree Vivid Slim Fit Tint in 1 Peach Tea, Innisfree Auto Eyebrow in 3 Dreaming Dawn Gray, Piaa Lip Water in Unripened Fruit Juice, and Mamonde Creamy Tint Color Bomb in Velvet Red. Except for the Piaa Lip Water, the others wiped off after a swipe or two. The Lip Water had a bit more staining, requiring a few rubs to remove.
