Even if the cleansing power is good, some products can cause breakouts, but Laneige does not cause any troubles. And the finish is refreshing. There seem to be many cleansing waters with good cleansing power, no skin troubles, and a refreshing finish, but they are harder to find than you might think... And when you look online, there are many places selling them for 28,000 won for 2 bottles lol
ConsI've already used up more than 5 bottles, but I still haven't found any unsatisfactory aspects

But this product has good ingredients and removes makeup well It removes sunscreen, foundation, and brow makeup well It also removes lip makeup to some extent This is enough to remove base makeup Even when I was too lazy to wash my face properly after coming home late, I just wiped my face with this and didn't get any breakouts It didn't sting my eyes either And my skin doesn't feel dry after using it!!
ConsHowever, it doesn't remove mascara, eyeshadow, and eyeliner very well It seems like you need a dedicated eye makeup remover for point makeup I don't really expect that much from cleansing waters anyway, and for them to remove point makeup, the formula would need to be more oily or harsher So I'm satisfied with this level of performance One thing that could be improved is Since it has a very thin consistency, when pouring it onto a cotton pad, it tends to gush out a bit It would be nice if the consistency was a bit more viscous to make the amount easier to control
TipFor those with very dry skin, the tip is to just do a water cleanse in the morning and use a cleanser at night But if the water cleanse in the morning still feels unsatisfactory, You can use this cleansing water to wipe your face once and then do a regular water cleanse This will help remove some of the oil and residue without the dryness of a full cleanse

I have a cleansing gel that I really love (the Dermatology Gel Cleanser) and the ingredients are similar, so I didn't have any trouble with breakouts and it's moisturizing.
ConsBut for sensitive skin with redness, you shouldn't use cleansing water. The makeup came off well, and it was moisturizing and didn't cause any trouble, but because of the friction with the cotton pad, my skin became weaker and the redness came up more. I didn't feel like it was calming. I tried to switch to the Dermatology one because I can only buy it online and it's too much of a hassle, but it ended up giving me redness, so I stopped using it halfway through. The dermatologist and skin care clinics said that cleansing water is the worst for sensitive, troubled skin, and they recommended using a milk or gel instead. They said the order of irritation is oil > water > foam > gel < milk. For those with sensitive skin, please take note!! I'm really disappointed... The price is on the higher end, but with this level of cleansing power and these ingredients, I really wanted to use it forever... but because of the cotton pad...
TipJust use it with a cotton pad. It's important to minimize the irritation from the water as much as possible! I recommend the White Rabbit or Aritaum 5-ply cotton.

It's PEG-free! I used to use the Avène micellar lotion. It felt moisturizing, cleansed very well, and didn't cause any breakouts, but after finding out it contained PEG, I didn't want to use it anymore. Just as I was about to finish it, I heard that Laneige had released a cleansing water without harmful ingredients, so I tried it and I'm now on my third bottle. 🙂
Cons- The price range isn't that affordable. There are other good cleansing waters with similar volumes that are much cheaper, so it's burdensome to buy this at full price. I usually only get it when Aritaum has a 50% or buy-one-get-one-free sale. - It seems to have difficulty removing heavy makeup. I use a separate lip and eye makeup remover for my eye makeup.
Tip- I use this with the Clinique cotton pads and they work well together. I don't feel like it removes everything in one go, so I usually wipe my face 2-3 times (2 times on days I just wear sunscreen, 3 times on days I wear foundation). - Aritaum sometimes has buy-one-get-one-free or 50% off sales, so I'd recommend stocking up during those times.

The ingredients seem pretty good, and it feels like there's almost no skin irritation. 2. Moisturizing I used to only use cleansing oils, but when I tried this, the cotton pad felt moisturizing during the first cleanse. After the second cleanse, my skin didn't feel as tight, which was nice. 3. No breakouts I've never had any breakouts because of this.
ConsThe cleansing power isn't super strong, but it's still usable. When evaluating cleansers, I prioritize cleansing power, and this product is decent in that regard. However, when I used two cotton pads soaked in it, there was barely any residue visible, which felt a bit unsatisfying at first. (Now I just use it once and follow up with a foam cleanser for the second cleanse)
TipBuy it during a sale. Otherwise, it's not worth the money.

I had been using oils constantly because of the strong cleansing power, but this water-based product removed makeup well without causing any trouble. I used it by soaking a cotton pad, and it felt like it gently exfoliated and left my skin feeling soft and smooth after rinsing.
ConsSince it's a water-based product, I felt like I had to soak the cotton pad quite a bit, so the amount felt a little lacking. Even though I bought it on a 50% discount, I felt it was a bit pricey at the regular price. And coming from using oils, I felt my sebum management wasn't as effective with this water-based cleanser.

I had previously used Bioderma Uriage and L'Oreal, but this time I tried the Laneige one and I'm very satisfied. The Uriage one was a bit rich as a water-type, and the L'Oreal one had good cleansing power and didn't cause any trouble. But considering the price and the amount used, I wanted to try a new product, so I applied for the trial reviewer program. The Laneige one really cleaned well and left very little residue, and it was less drying compared to the others!
ConsThe packaging is simple and pretty, but there's a slightly inconvenient feeling to it. However, the amount used is visible right away, which is good, but the amount dispensed each time is a bit small, which was a minor concern.
TipIt's not very drying and has good cleansing power, so it's great for thoroughly cleansing on days with a lot of fine dust and high activity levels!

ConsAs expected, using cleansing water requires investing in cotton pads, so it ends up costing more money. And I've never felt any stinging or irritation when using an eye makeup remover, but when I tried to remove my eye makeup with this, it was so painful that I couldn't even open my eyes. It's really agonizing.
TipFor cleansing water, Sirucoat is definitely the way to go.

I'm not the type to wear heavy makeup, so I don't usually use makeup removers either haha. I just use cleansing water to wipe off my lips. So I was looking for a cleansing water with good cleansing power and a slightly acidic pH, and this product fit those criteria perfectly! 1. No irritation and no breakouts - I didn't experience any breakouts or irritation while using this. Even when I went over blemish-prone areas, it didn't sting or feel uncomfortable~ Of course, you have to be gentle with the application. 2. Cleansing power is amazing☆☆☆☆☆ - This seems to be the biggest advantage of this product. Compared to the Innisfree Blueberry Cleansing Water I used before, the amount of residue left on the cotton pad was noticeably different. It effectively removed my eyebrow mascara and lip products. With the previous product, I had to pump it several times, but with this one, just two or three pumps were enough. 3. Slightly acidic cleansing water - There are many slightly acidic foam cleansers, but it's hard to find cleansing oils or waters with a similar pH. I was really satisfied that this one has a slightly acidic pH.
ConsWhile there weren't any major downsides, I think it would be good to mention a few points of comparison with other products: 1. Relatively expensive price - To be honest, I thought this Laneige product would be even more expensive, since Laneige isn't a low-cost brand. Compared to that, I felt this was more affordable. But still, since I'm used to using more budget-friendly brands, anything over 20,000 won feels a bit pricey to me. However, the price aspect is something you can really only evaluate after using up the whole bottle. If the product lasts a long time, the perceived cost per use goes down. So when I'm deciding whether to repurchase this versus trying another product, the price is a factor that makes me hesitate a bit. 2. Drying effect - After cleansing my whole face, I did feel it was a bit drying (I have dry skin). It wasn't to the point of my face feeling really tight, but I noticed a bit more dryness compared to using a cleansing oil. It was just a mild drying effect, nothing too extreme.
TipI use a 5-ply cotton pad, applying the product in 2 layers, then 2 more layers, and finally 1 layer to finish. You said water rinsing isn't necessary, but I think it's still a good idea! Just wiping with the cotton pads will eventually remove everything, but it might be a bit too irritating. Instead, I found that wetting my face with water in between changing the cotton pads helps prevent that drying feeling. Don't just apply the product directly to your bare skin - be sure to give your face a quick water rinse first!

But with this product, no matter how hard I rubbed, it didn't turn red! The fact that it's mildly acidic! The fact that you don't have to rinse it off! Even without wiping and rinsing with water, my skin felt moisturized, and I didn't get any breakouts the next day! A scent that won't polarize opinions!
ConsIt said it would remove waterproof makeup thoroughly, but the mascara didn't come off very well! I tried several times, but it just wouldn't come off! I think I'll have to use a dedicated eye makeup remover for my eye makeup! Even though you don't have to rinse it off with water, I still feel a bit uneasy, so I think I'll do a second cleanse.
