I'm concerned about my butterfly-shaped pores, skin texture, and uneven skin tone. This is a review after using the product for one bottle. I always remove point makeup with a lip and eye makeup remover, and use cleansing water to remove base makeup. Please consider my review from that perspective! I bought this product hastily without much research, just looking at the ingredients. But the usage experience and cleansing power were better than expected. First of all, it's very moisturizing and non-irritating. The cleansing power is also quite good. If the cleansing power is weak, you have to scrub hard, which can cause irritation itself. But this product removes makeup just with the right amount, which is great. Based on my skin, there were no breakouts either. I also like that it doesn't have any artificial fragrances or colors added. In conclusion, it's a product that is very faithful to the basics! The packaging is also pretty and lightweight, so I used it comfortably with a clean feeling throughout.
ConsCompared to the average cleansing water I've used, this had above-average cleansing power. However, it couldn't remove the foundation that had settled deep into my wide pores. But the remaining residue can be washed off in the second cleansing, and I haven't seen a cleansing water that can completely remove that kind of deep-seated makeup, so I don't have any major complaints about this.
TipThe original price is 22,000 won, which seems a bit expensive for a cleansing water in my opinion. But there are often 50% discounts or 1+1 offers, so it's a good cleanser to stock up on at a reasonable price when those promotions are available.

After washing my face, the moment the moisture dries, my skin becomes completely parched. I was using the Missha Cleansing Water, but during a sale period, I discovered and purchased this product. Since it's mildly acidic, it's gentle and non-irritating. When I used other brands' cleansing waters, my skin would feel dry the moment it dried, but with this product, there's no drying sensation.
ConsWith cleansing waters, no matter how many times I wipe, on days when I have full makeup on, there's still a lingering feeling of residue...
TipSince I have dry skin, I spray on a mist first, and then use the cleansing water to wipe it off. That way, there's even less skin irritation.

It's PEG-free! I used to use the Avène micellar lotion. It felt moisturizing, cleansed very well, and didn't cause any breakouts, but after finding out it contained PEG, I didn't want to use it anymore. Just as I was about to finish it, I heard that Laneige had released a cleansing water without harmful ingredients, so I tried it and I'm now on my third bottle. 🙂
Cons- The price range isn't that affordable. There are other good cleansing waters with similar volumes that are much cheaper, so it's burdensome to buy this at full price. I usually only get it when Aritaum has a 50% or buy-one-get-one-free sale. - It seems to have difficulty removing heavy makeup. I use a separate lip and eye makeup remover for my eye makeup.
Tip- I use this with the Clinique cotton pads and they work well together. I don't feel like it removes everything in one go, so I usually wipe my face 2-3 times (2 times on days I just wear sunscreen, 3 times on days I wear foundation). - Aritaum sometimes has buy-one-get-one-free or 50% off sales, so I'd recommend stocking up during those times.

The packaging was neat and the price was affordable.
ConsWhile the ingredients are gentle, it stings when it gets in the eyes. I usually use eye makeup like eyeliner and mascara, but it doesn't have as strong of a cleansing power as cleansing oil.

ConsThe eyeliner does not come off. You need to use a separate eye makeup remover.

I always just washed my face with water when doing makeup, and this was the first time I used a cleansing water. I'm grateful that you introduced this new product to me, and I'm happy to write a review as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer......😭 First of all, thank you to Hwahae!!!❤️❤️ My skin type is sensitive, dry, and oily. I'm afraid to use just any product on my skin... ㅠㅠ This is a review after using it for about a week!! First of all, since I have a job that involves a lot of performances and constant makeup, removing makeup was the biggest hassle for me!!! But I was able to easily wipe it off anywhere without water, and it was the best at night when I was too lazy to remove my makeup.....great. The ingredients are good, and after removing it, there's no drying or sticky feeling, so I felt really refreshed right after! I don't like artificial or strong scents, and this product has no irritation or unpleasant fragrance, which I really liked ~ And I didn't get any lather, it felt like I just washed my face with water.. Maybe because I used a lot of it. On days when I had a lot of makeup on, I used a bit less, but there wasn't any major downside.
ConsFor my eye makeup, like mascara or eyeliner on my waterline, it didn't remove them very well... The face makeup came off well, but ㅠㅠ Even though others said it removed everything well, for me, it wasn't enough to completely remove my eye makeup. So on days when I had eye makeup on, I used it together with a separate eye makeup remover ㅠㅠ I'm not sure if it's because I'm bad at removing makeup, but it really didn't come off well... So on days when I had eye makeup on, I just washed my face ㅋㅋ And one more disappointing point is that although it's fragrance-free and non-irritating, if I left it on my hands for a while, I felt a stinging sensation.. It felt like my fingers were hurting a bit??? I didn't feel that on my face, but since I have sensitive skin, I was worried it might irritate me a bit...

But with this product, no matter how hard I rubbed, it didn't turn red! The fact that it's mildly acidic! The fact that you don't have to rinse it off! Even without wiping and rinsing with water, my skin felt moisturized, and I didn't get any breakouts the next day! A scent that won't polarize opinions!
ConsIt said it would remove waterproof makeup thoroughly, but the mascara didn't come off very well! I tried several times, but it just wouldn't come off! I think I'll have to use a dedicated eye makeup remover for my eye makeup! Even though you don't have to rinse it off with water, I still feel a bit uneasy, so I think I'll do a second cleanse.

I have milia around my eyes and nose, and my pores are quite large, so my skin texture is not very good compared to when I don't have any issues. If I use a product that doesn't suit me, my skin turns red right away, but I don't get major breakouts. My skin reacts poorly to propolis products! 🍎In the morning, I usually just wash my face with water, and in the evening, I cleanse with a cleansing water only. I used 4 cotton pads to thoroughly remove my base makeup (sunscreen, BB cream). The ingredients are not bad, and the cleansing power is also good, so when I first tried it, I thought, 'It's better than I expected.' It's a good idea to use a separate point makeup remover. I use a Peripera* mascara and lip products, and those require multiple rubs and cotton buds to remove. But among the 5 cleansing waters I've used so far, this one ranks top in terms of cleansing power and ingredients! 🍎There's a slight floral scent, but it's not at all irritating. My skin didn't turn red at all. After rinsing with water, I didn't feel any tightness. However, it's better to follow up with skincare right away. Even when I had to cleanse twice a day because I wore makeup, there were no issues.
ConsSince it's a fairly basic product, there aren't any special functional features. It doesn't completely remove all the sebum. I would do an oil cleanse once a week. ※Additional Note※ Oh no, after using it for a while, I've started getting milia around my mouth. I wonder what the cause could be... Upon reflection, I think it might be because both the toner and the cleansing water are slightly acidic. I'll try using different toner and cleansing water products and update the review if the milia issue persists. ※Additional Note※ Changing the toner and cleansing water did cause the milia to appear. And in the evenings, I was using a very moisturizing cream, so I switched that to a lighter gel cream instead. I think my winter skincare routine wasn't quite right for the summer. I'll give this another try in the winter.
TipThis is a very personal tip, but I actually use cotton pads to wipe the cleansing water, and for the toner, I don't use cotton pads either. I just dispense it into my hands and gently pat it onto my face 2-3 times (to minimize physical stimulation!). In the mornings, I just wash with water and then use a cotton pad to wipe on the toner. About once a week, I do an oil cleanse to remove excess sebum.

At an original price of 22,000 won, it's not exactly cheap, but the volume is really huge. So even if I just pay the full price, it doesn't feel like a waste. When I first received it by delivery, I was surprised ㅎㅎ 2. Fragrance-free (personal preference) Since it's fragrance-free, I actually liked it. With some cleansing waters, if they have a strange scent, even after washing, I still feel like I'm not completely clean. But this one felt mild and fragrance-free.
ConsThe cleansing power isn't as great as the advertisement claims ㅠㅠ It felt really good when I first wiped my face, but when removing eye makeup, it's a bit annoying that it gets stuck in the cotton pad and I have to rub hard ㅠㅠ Even after wiping properly, there were still some glittery things left behind ㅜㅜ That's a bit disappointing?
TipOverall, it was not a bad product! However, if you use dedicated makeup removal cotton pads or cleansing cotton instead of regular cotton, it would probably work even better*_*

I was a user of the famous product A00. It is a cleansing lotion just like that. A00 has a large volume and I bought it when it was on a 1+1 sale, using it for 6 months. ## My skin condition: It is normal skin that gets pimples when there are hormonal changes or fatigue, with slightly more oil in the T-zone and both sides of the nose, and a slightly reddish allergic reaction overall. I was a teenage girl with acne, but with a lack of moisture! (Sensitive) ## Highly subjective opinion, as the perception may vary depending on each person's skin type, surrounding environment, and other factors.><♡ ## If you could provide some tips or feedback on the concerns I mentioned in my writing, it would be helpful for others as well.♡ First, 1. Low irritation, fragrance-free 2. When applied with a cotton pad, A00 flows out a lot, causing me to use a lot, and resulting in a slight pimple-like (oily) reaction, but the Laneige product doesn't flow out as much and comes out just right. 3. Function!! : During cleansing, it is not as irritating as A00, and there were no reddish reactions after washing my face.
Cons1. Although smaller in size than A00 (400ml), the volume (320ml) is not small by any means. 2. The lips are removed well, but honestly, it doesn't seem to be at the level of 'no need for water cleansing'. Even when I wipe it with a cotton pad several times, it seems difficult to completely remove the eyeliner or mascara (any tips from those who know would be appreciated.♡) 3. It would be great if the exact meaning of 'PEG-free' could be included in the product information or a separate leaflet.
TipThe biggest advantage is that even if I just use this cleansing water for a day or two without water cleansing, I don't get any trouble the next day, so it seems to be low-irritation and deep cleansing. The fragrance-free also gave me a healthier feeling.
