I'm prone to blemishes and excess oil if I don't maintain a daily care routine. I usually use cleansing water for exfoliation and final cleansing (always followed by rinsing with water). I wanted to try a clean, residue-free toner, so I applied for this product test. As described, it contains 96.90% snow lotus water, leaving a refreshingly light finish. The herbal scent contributes to the invigorating feel. When gently wiped across the skin, it leaves a cool, fresh sensation. I used it after cleansing, before completely drying my face, and it effectively removed visible dead skin cells. For combination or oily skin types, using a toner like this can significantly impact skin condition. It provides gentle exfoliation and refines skin texture, leaving a balanced finish. It seems particularly suitable for oily, blemish-prone skin, as it gives a sensation of removing excess oil, leaving the skin feeling clean and refreshed. Being an exfoliating toner, it focuses more on cleansing than hydration. While it leaves the skin feeling refreshed, it's best to follow up with a hydrating serum or moisturizer. Blemish care: There was a slight tingling on sensitive areas, but it wasn't painful, so I continued using it. I noticed a calming effect after each use. The results are more noticeable with consistent use, and I saw a reduction in redness.
ConsThose with very sensitive skin might experience slight tingling on blemished areas. It was tolerable for me, but everyone's skin is different, so I recommend patch testing first! The bottle has an inner plastic cap under the main lid, which might be useful for travel. However, using it without this inner cap feels a bit risky - it might leak if carried around.
TipMake sure to keep the inner plastic cap you see when you first open the bottle! I used this toner along with the sample ampoule that came with it, and my skin condition improved dramatically. The ampoule was incredibly effective!

My skin was struggling with redness and tons of tiny blemishes on my forehead and cheeks. I even had a few inflamed spots. I used it morning and night after cleansing, gently wiping with a cotton pad in the direction of my skin texture. The results? My sister actually commented on how much better my skin looked! Those angry blemishes calmed down, my skin texture improved dramatically, and my makeup started going on like a dream. It's been a game-changer for me. Oh, and did I mention? My redness, which was pretty intense before, has significantly decreased too!
ConsThe scent might be hit or miss for some people. I had my sister try it, and she really disliked the smell. It's got this sharp, almost mouthwash-like scent that might not be everyone's cup of tea. Also, heads up: for the first couple of days, I noticed an increase in inflamed blemishes. I was worried it wasn't agreeing with my skin, but thankfully, things settled down after that. For about 5 days after application, I experienced a slight tingling sensation. It would subside after about 5 minutes, which I didn't mind, but if you're sensitive to that cooling, slightly stinging feeling, you might want to proceed with caution.
TipPro tips: You can use it as a mask by soaking a cotton pad and leaving it on your skin for a bit. Before applying makeup, try wiping your face with it, then pat a bit more into your skin with your palms. It leaves your skin feeling bouncy and creates the perfect canvas for makeup. Don't be alarmed if you see an increase in blemishes at first - give it about a week. For most, including me, those blemishes and tiny bumps start to clear up. If you're still having issues after a week, though, it might not be the right fit for your skin.
