I apply this gentle, water-like formula right after cleansing! Its mildness seems to significantly reduce blemishes. I'm using it in various ways - as an exfoliating toner, letting it absorb into my skin, or as a toner mask. It's so versatile! The quantity is a bit small and it's on the pricier side. However, for those with super sensitive skin, this toner seems to be the absolute best option. - ke******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 23, 2024
★★★★★(Excellent) Great for light use in summer The ampoule version is even better Some reviews mention getting small bumps, but I must be a perfect match for centella Products with fermented biome, shea butter, panthenol, or cica usually cause bumps, redness, or itching for me But centella works amazingly well Leaves skin feeling soft on the outside and hydrated inside Of course, being a toner, you need to apply generously for hydration Feels great after application Might be a bit lacking for those with dry skin Might be a bit lacking for those with dry skin No specific tips come to mind It just seems to work well as a toner Hooray for centella! - li*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 25, 2023
While it's not incredibly hydrating, it's a clean and gentle toner that's perfect for the first step in your routine. I plan to keep purchasing it. The watery texture means a lot gets wasted as it runs off, but I end up using it quite liberally. I apply it with a cotton pad - du*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 15, 2022
This product absorbs incredibly well and has a great cooling effect. I was struggling with skin issues and trying various products when I decided to prioritize soothing. After watching a video about this product being gentle and calming, I decided to give it a try. To cut to the chase, I absolutely love it! I used the set including the toner, ampoule, and soothing gel. For the first 1-2 weeks, I didn't notice much difference. My blemishes were severe, and my skin was flaky and irritated from misusing a cleansing device. While other products stung, this one felt gentle and didn't cause any discomfort. Now, after almost a month of use and about 70% of the bottle, I'm still using it morning and night! It's non-sticky, has a cooling effect, and is great for soothing the skin. I don't have any major complaints. However, using just the toner might be a bit drying now. If you don't like sticky textures, I'd recommend this. I have combination skin, and while it might be a bit drying on its own, most people use other products alongside it, so I don't consider this a real drawback. It's a shame that there isn't much advertising, so many people might not know about this product. If your goal is to soothe your skin, I recommend applying the ampoule that comes in the set all over your face, then soaking a pad with the toner. Before placing the pad on your face, apply another layer of ampoule to problem areas. Leave the pad on for 5-10 minutes to allow absorption. When I'm concerned about blemishes, I apply the ampoule, then layer on Nature Republic's Vita Pair C Dark Spot Serum before using the pad. This toner is much less irritating than others, which is why I prefer using it for this method. - lu*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMay 19, 2020
Made Me's Green Salvia Treatment Toner captures the energy of cabbage leaf to soothe sensitive skin and provide a refreshing finish. It's a mildly acidic, calming toner with a watery consistency that doesn't feel sticky when used as a cleansing toner. I loved the pleasant herbal scent! As a cleansing toner, it felt light and refreshing. It has a boosting effect for the next skincare steps, helping with the absorption of essences. Overall, it's a reliable product that fulfills its role as a cleansing toner nicely! While it was moisturizing due to its high hydration content, for someone with super sensitive skin like me, I felt a bit of dryness if I didn't immediately apply the next product in my routine. I found it works best when you soak a cotton pad generously and wipe your face, then pat a bit more directly onto your skin with your hands. This method left my complexion feeling even more hydrated! - rn**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 27, 2020
It's incredibly good! It saved my skin after using the wrong cosmetics. There's an ingredient called 'houttuynia cordata'? It's the first time I've heard of it, but it seems to have some effect on calming those tiny blemishes! Ah... I really want to give it 5 stars because it's so good, but this might just be me being super sensitive - I really dislike the scent. It's such an artificial cosmetic smell. I don't understand why it has this scent when there are no fragrances listed... I've gotten used to it now, but at first, I really hated it because it smelled like a cheap air freshener. Still, the product is good, so I definitely recommend giving it a try! - ji*****Dry SkinRecommendedApr 14, 2020
The best thing about this product is undoubtedly its ingredients. The formulation is top-notch, which is essential, and it provides excellent hydration. While toners are primarily meant for balancing rather than moisturizing, I find the hydration level slightly lacking. Nevertheless, I'm reasonably satisfied with it. - wc*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 8, 2020
This is an excellent exfoliating toner for soothing the skin~ It's just like water! There's absolutely no viscosity or stickiness. Soothing: The calming effect is truly remarkable! Since I wear a mask daily, the areas where it touches my skin inevitably become itchy and red. To alleviate this, I would soak a cotton pad with this toner and apply it like a mask. It calmed down quickly! I think it would be great for when you need rapid soothing. Gentle: It's completely mild! Throughout the period of use, I didn't experience any blemishes or tingling sensations! Of course, this could be because I don't have super sensitive skin. Overall, it was an exfoliating toner that's easy to use without any issues! Although I have dry skin, those with extremely dry skin might find it a bit drying~ Of course, I do apply the next skincare step right after using the toner, but it absorbs so quickly that I sometimes wonder, 'Did I even use toner?' While exfoliating toners are generally used to manage any residue or impurities left after cleansing, I think those who prioritize hydration from the toner step might not be too fond of this. While it's good to use with a cotton pad, I personally think it might be even better to use it generously as a skin pack! - dl********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 2, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It's also good for those seeking hydration. While the gentle ingredients and moisturizing effect seemed promising, it didn't work for me. Painful blemishes popped up on my eyebrows like folliculitis, and my cheeks developed several inflamed epidermal cysts along with tiny bumps filled with yellowish pus. After cleansing at night, I applied it generously with my hands. It felt a bit heavy, but I thought it was just the moisturizing effect. By morning, I had breakouts. Thinking it might be too rich, I tried applying less with a cotton pad in the morning, but by afternoon, the blemishes had grown larger. After just two applications, my face was a mess. To top it off, the lavender oil scent is overwhelmingly strong. I really disliked it. I'm dreading how long it'll take for my skin to calm down now. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2020
This toner is perfect for when you need intense soothing, packed with centella asiatica extract which is great for calming the skin! With 96.90% centella extract, it has an almost transparent green color and a water-like texture. It's excellent for gently swiping across your skin with a cotton pad or using as a skin pack. Due to its high extract content, it has a green tint which can be troublesome if it gets on white clothes, so be careful when applying. As a fresh and lightweight toner, it effectively removes dead skin cells and refines skin texture, leaving me overall very satisfied with its performance.
